Prayer Needed/ KKIM DDC

Dear KKIM Family,

This prayer request really hit's close to home. Jan Moore the lovely, lovely, dear, wife of Ed Moore ( GM of WFRN Radio) my mentor in Christian Radio needs a liver transplant.

Please pray that the methods the Doctor's are using to get Jan's liver "in shape" for a transplant work.

Please pray that Jan receives a transplant soon.

Please pray for healing.

Jan has given her life to serve God's people...........Please keep her in your prayers.

Jan helped me so much in my daily walk with Jesus Christ when I worked for WFRN.

Jan and Ed may be coming to Albuquerque for a visit, please keep that in your prayers. Thanks so much and God Bless.

How God works in answer to prayer is a mystery that logic cannot penetrate, but that HE does work in answer to prayer is GLORIOUSLY TRUE!!!!!!

Merry Christmas..........Dewey Sharon and Family..........You all are in our prayers!

Here is an EXCELLENT FUNNY BONE!!!!!

'll Have Daily Bread, Fries, and a ShakeA young lady in our church youth group had the distinction of a long career in the fast-food business. Unfortunately, she had an equally long history of absent-mindedness. One Sunday evening at a youth fellowship, the pastor called on her to bless our evening snacks. The room became quiet as heads were bowed and eyes closed. Then she greeted God with these words: "Welcome to McDonalds. May I take your order?" —Craig Epp, "Lite Fare," Christian Reader

Have a great day and be safe.... our prayers are with all those traveling. Go to www.mykkim.com for the latest news and weather information with our Hall Of Famer Frank Haley. Frank is the best news anchor in New Mexico, we are so thankful to the Lord to have him with us! John Paul brings you the weather every day on KKIM! Please Pray for a MiracleA friend of ours, Juan Navas-Sacasa, went to the doctor for a pain in hisleg. It turned out to be a blood clot. Tests found cancer...in hisliver, pancreas, and everywhere. The doctors started chemo, butquit...his body could not tolerate it. He is now very weak, and inhorrible pain, and the pain medication is also not working. They almostlost him Monday, but he is holding on.This is the kind of person who should live a long time! (In my humbleopinion. Forgive me God for being bossy.) He is 57 years old, fromSpain, brought up in Italy, smart, educated and well spoken, witty andfun, fluent in many languages, and so sweet! Married for many years toMarisol who is a dear lady and they have a wonderful son; He is a lovely man! They are Christians, and fine, fine people. Now he needs a MIRACLE. Could we all pray for Juan, and send this request to all of the other prayer groups you know aroundthe country and get them praying too.Certainly, he will die, without God interceding with a miracle.I believe that enough people asking God to save him, will bring themiracle he needs.God bless everyone who helps!Ashley Margetson

Please keep Juan in your prayers.

Miki, please keep us updated on Juan. Thanks!

Another URGENT PRAYER NEED

Dear KKIM family,

We have another prayer need from Frank..............Thanks for your prayers!!!!

I am so thankful for all of you.........

Never say God has done what HE has not done because it sounds better to say it; never pretend to have an answer when you have not. Jesus said, "Everyone who asks receives"; we say ----"I have asked but I have not received." It is because we ask in spiritual confusion. Jesus said to James and John: "You do not know what you ask"; they were brought into fellowship with Jesus Christ's cup and baptism, but not in the way they expected.

Here is the note from Frank...........

A prayer request for all of your daily cup prayer warriors...
My 28 yr old neighbor is having brain surgery on Wednesday morning. He is a new believer, I led him to the Lord earlier this year, after two very close friends of his committed suicide a couple of months apart. The brain surgery is needed to fix a problem from an earlier surgery he needed a few years ago after he was hit in the head with a brick during a fight in which he was trying to rescue a young woman who was being attacked my another man. The amazing thing is, God has been watching over him long before he even knew of Jesus. He never attended church as a child. He grew up in Albq, raised by a single Mom, and they were homeless when he was in 1st and 2nd grades. He even remembers doing his home work in their car in a parking lot by the street lights. Even with his head injury, he is not disabled, has never ask for government assistance, he has a sound and bright mind, has obtained his realtor's license and a brokers license. He has his own business. He has a wonderful attitude, loves the Lord, and loves life and has a sweet wife. Please pray that the surgery goes well and he recovers quickly. He is my dear close friend.
Thanks Dewey,
Frank

URGENT PRAYER NEED

Dear KKIM Family,

We have been praying for Lynne Buggs as she goes through cancer treatment. I just got a note from her brother Tim Gannon that she is back in the hospital and that the Doctor's think the cancer has moved to her brain.

Would you please continue to pray for healing for Lynne.

It has been such a blessing to get to know her through emails, she has a wonderful heart for the Lord and HIS people.

Never complaining.

I would like to share with Lynne and her family and with you all about why prayer is so important for all of us.............

This comes from Joan Chittister..........

Spirituality without prayer life is no spirituality at all, and it will not last beyond the first debates. Prayer is an opening of the self so that the Word of God can break in and make us new. Prayer unmasks. Prayer converts. Prayer impels. Prayer sustains us on the way. Pray for the grace it will take to continue what you would like to quit.

Let us not quit seeking the Lord's will in all of our lives and the will of the Lord for the life of Lynne and her family.

You see, there is something greater than what we see now..........what we do not see is greater than what we do see. That is called eternal life with our Lord.

Prayer sustains us on the way.

May the Peace and strength of our Lord Jesus Christ be with us all, Dewey Sharon and family

HUGE PRAISE notes this morning!!!

We have three HUGE PRAISE notes this morning!!!

Your prayers mean so much!!!

First this from Oswald Chambers........ The time a Christian gives to prayer and communion with God is not meant for his natural life, but to nourish the life of the Son of God in him. God engineers the circumstances of His saints in order that the Spirit may use them as the praying house of the Son of God. If you are spiritual the Holy Spirit is offering up prayers in your bodily temple that you know nothing about, it is the Spirit making intercession in you. Also this......... We are to free from the wonder nowadays, too easy with the Word of God; we do not use it with the breathless amazement Paul does.

Think what sanctification means------Christ in me; made like Christ; as HE is, so are we. I think sometimes we get going like a gerbils in a cage and we need to stop and smell the roses as that old Mac Davis song says, and soak in the amazement of GOD!

Here are our praise notes as we have been praying for Gwen and Tim.........Remember Jannetta keeps a diary of all our prayer needs at the web site http://www.deweydailyscup.com/ Do you keep a dairy of all your prayers?

Hi Dewey, Gwen here again. After asking for prayer to move up my appt., I called yesterday and was able to move it closer by 3 weeks, and I called again today, and it was moved up another week. That's a definite Praise the Lord. Many thanks to all who have been praying for me, especially since we don't have a church family right now. Keep praying for me that this will be resolved. God bless, Gwen Dewey, What a miracle! Just to share what God does...remember Tim, who was in an induced coma due to brain swelling after a horrific motorcycle accident! Well, praise God and thank HIM dearly as you read this: "Another outstanding day for Tim, they removed his trach and they gave him his helmet. Tim works with his therapist daily, this afternoon when I arrived they put him in the wheel chair and rolled him down to the gym. Tim stood up out of his chair and walked about 10 feet, sat down to rest a minute then stood up and walked back. It was amazing I cried with joy! He did most of it by himself with little support. Way to go Tim soon you will be walking to the gym! ~ Love ya!!!" IT'S A MIRACLE! Love, Karen

It is such a blessing to give to you these two reports.......We have been having many praise reports! Please spread the word about our Prayer Ministry. our THIRD PRAISE NOTE...........Update on niece...she is stable and they hope to take her off the ventilator in the next couple of days. Thanks for the prayers and getting the word out. AWESOME PRAISE GOD!!!!

Praise and Prayer!

Hi Dewey,
This is Gwen, dealing with the bladder/urinary problem. I had asked the Lord to show me and the doctors the problem and to fix it. Blood tests came back with hyperparathyroidism. It could be the problem....I'm praying it is, so I can get it fixed. Called the surgeon, but the soonest he can see me is Jan. 13th. They said I could call back everyday to see if there's been a cancellation. Please pray I'll be able to get in sooner and that this will resolve the problem. I need to get this resolved, quit suffering and get on with life.
Thanks and God bless, Gwen

prayer listings

We have these prayer needs..........Please pray for my Father-In-Law Roger Altman who according to the Doctor's is now in the final stages of Alzheimer.

Please keep Roger, Sharon and her whole family in your prayers.

Please pray for Patty of Elk Grove, California......Her mother Joanne passed away Saturday and Patty has been diagnosed with cancer. Patty is Sharon's good friend from her High School days.

A Couple of notes on prayer.........Prayer is hunger for God, and having a genuine hunger for God, and having a genuine hunger for God is the beginning of prayer. Our genuine desire to know God us an actual prayer, and genuine prayer makes us hungry for God. Genuine Prayer is GOD-hunger!!! AMEN!!!

By the way when you have to wait in line or our sitting to be seen at an office...........flip out your cell phone and go to your directory and pray for each person on your cell phone directory. If your like me, I still don't have all the names in the cell phone I still use the old fashion address/phone book I carry with me every where.

When I type the cup and see all of your addresses I pray for you!!!!

Dear Dewey, Gods peace to you this beautiful morning.
I just wanted to thank you for the 'Cup' this morning, it has me searching the scriptures! It funny how you do that ..haha :)
And Gwen has all my prayers this morning, as others who have asked for them. Prayers are such a blessing when you are in need.
My prayers are also with Sharon and her school time friend. Cancer is such a terrible disease. It is frightning, and I will pray she has strength from our Saviour.
Dewey, you seem interested in people pretending to be Christians this morning. I have some relief. The ones that are pretending cannot be around true believers for any long length of time. Its just impossible. Their conscience won't let them. The scriptures say there are wolves in sheeps clothing, and thats so true. But are those wolves around true believers? I think not. The believers see through them, and if the wolves were around true believers for some time, they would have to leave or repent. The word is like a two edged sword, it can cut away any cloak. sincerely, sam

PRAYER NEED KKIM/DDC

Dear KKIM Family,

This makes it all worth while having a Ministry when one reaches out like Gwen.......How wonder Gwen! Gwen is asking for prayer for her health and that she finds a Church through prayer. Gwen is not pretending that she need's to be around God's people........Thank you for your note this morning Gwen and we are praying! Your note is a HUGE blessing and encouragement to many!

As it says in Psalm 95:4 In HIS hand are the deepest places of the earth. HIS hand reaches all of us, no matter where we are at in life. We just need to ask for it.

Hi Dewey,
I'd like to be put on your prayer list.
Ever since trying hormones for a couple months this summer, I've had a weird urinary/bladder problem going on. None of my doctors know what it is or what to do about it. I've been unable to carry on a lot of things in my life and have been staying home. I so much want to get out there and work for the Lord, especially doing something with a food ministry. We've also wanted to start attending our local church, but have been unable to. We've been away from church for many years, and it's now my hearts desire to be able to go and get involved. Please pray that this will get resolved, either through God's miracle, or that me and the doctors will find out what the problem is and be able to fix it.
Thank you and God bless,
Gwen

As just heard on KKIM during "Grace To You" with John Mc Arthur the Church is a hospital,it is not for perfect people..it is for people like you and me. John stated that once God's people realize this we all will be better off.

Psalm 18:2

The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer.

Gwen, We have many Pastor's who are part of the KKIM family.........We will be praying for a home Church for you and your family.

I want to thank GOD for the ministry of KKIM and the Cup.........I want to PRAISE GOD for all of you! Please pray and make sure now and read in 2nd. Peter before Wed.

Sing unto the Lord a new song...........Psalm 96:1

Love, Dewey Sharon and family
