Saturday Prayer Needs KKIM/DDC

Dear KKIM Family,

Getting ready to get into the radio ranch to run the board for all our Saturday morning programs. Bobby Jones is on vacation and your's truly, being the old dog he is, is trying to learn new things! Please pray for Bobby and his wife that they are having a very blessed time together!

Those who pray keep alive the watch fires of faith.......

Let us come together and pray..........After you pray for our those in need please read what Max Lucado has to say about prayer........

Dewey,

We need more prayers for Gail. She is back in the hospital with a temp. and dehydration. Very frail and not of positive=2 0emotions. Please pass this on.
I just came from one of my accounts where I do business with these wonderful people who were the first to help me in my business. Bob Wash is a picture framer at the store and loved by everyone he comes in contact with. Tammy (the owner) and Ari, told me Bob has pancreatic cancer and is in very bad shape.
No treatment for him as he also has an aneurysm right next to the tumor on his pancreas which is right next to his heart. He has lost 30 lbs and is not in good shape at all. I am so overwhelmed with grief for these wonderful people. I will leave it to our Dear Lord's hand's and pray for peace and comfort.
Thank you Dewey. Also Ari's grandmother has congestive heart failure at 89 and in severe pain. These wonderful people need our Lord's comfort and prayers.
Thank you all, and God Bless.
Nicole

Please keep Gail, Bob, and Ari's Grandmother in your prayers....and Nicole, she is such a wonderful Angel of God.

Please pray for Ivette Flores of Albuquerque as she prepares for surgery. She is so thankful for your prayers.

Talked to Bobby Box yesterday afternoon. The MRI results on Reneesha's liver were good. The Doctor's are still trying to figure out why her liver levels are so high. Reneesha is feeling good!!! PRAISE GOD!

This from Congressman/Pastor Bill Redmond........

Vote on same sex marriage has been moved to this Monday, February 2, 2:00 Room 321. Keep up the prayers. Keep up the phone calls to members of the Senate Judiciary Committee 505-986-4300. Start calling at 11:00 on Monday. Speak the truth in love. We want to win persons not arguments.

Bill also sent this reading from Henry Hyde.........

"ENCOURAGE ONE ANOTHER AS YOU SEE THE DAY DRAWING NEAR."

By Congressman Henry Hyde:

"When the time comes as it surely will, when we face that awesome moment, the final judgment, I’ve often thought, as Fulton Sheen wrote, that it is a terrible moment of loneliness. You have no advocates, you are there alone standing before God and a terror will rip through your soul like nothing you can imagine. But I really think that those in the pro-life movement will not be alone. I think there will be a chorus of voices that have never been heard in this world but are heard beautifully and clearly in the next world and they will plead for everyone who has been in this movement. They will say to God , “Spare him because he loved us,” and God will look at you and say not, “Did you succeed?” but “Did you try?"

Dewey,

I really enjoyed your cup this AM. I have a son in college who is not quite a Jesus Freak yet, but he isn't running in the other direction either, PTL. Anyway, I love to find interesting things to send to him and have just forwarded the cup with Curt Warner stories. Sure wish the main stream media would share such wonderful stories with their broad audience, but BRAVO to you for sharing it with those in your KKIM family and audience. U RAWK!!!

Blessings,
Shona

By the way you can hear Shona this morning at 7:30 on KKIM and Karen Rowe at 7:45 and Dr. Deb at 8:05!

Shalom Dewey,
Messianic Jews and Believers were in the Senate Gallery in Prayer Shawls on Wednesday and stand ready to go to Santa Fe at a moment’s notice too!
Bless G-d for the strong unity of Believers!
Shalom Uvracha (peace and blessing),
Chris Tomlin

And now let's hear the wisdom of Max Lucado..............

by Max Lucado

0A
Those who pray keep alive the watch fires of faith. For the most part we don’t even know their names. Such is the case of someone who prayed on a day long ago. His name is not important. He is important not because of who he was, but because of what he did.
He went to Jesus on behalf of a friend. His friend was sick, and Jesus could help, and someone needed to go to Jesus, so someone went. Others cared for the sick man in other ways. Some brought food; others provided treatment; still others comforted the family. Each role was crucial. Each person was helpful, but no one was more vital than the one who went to Jesus.
John writes: “So Mary and Martha sent someone to tell Jesus, ‘Lord, the one you love is sick’” (John 11:3, emphasis mine).
Someone carried the request. Someone walked the trail. Someone went to Jesus on behalf of Lazarus. And because someone went, Jesus responded.
In the economy of heaven, the prayers of saints are a valued commodity. John the apostle would agree. He wrote the story of Lazarus and was careful to show the sequence: The healing began when the request was made.
The phrase the friend of Lazarus used is worth noting. When he told Jesus of the illness, he said, “The one you love is sick.” The power of the prayer, in other words, does not depend on the one who makes the prayer but on20 the one who hears the prayer.
We can and must repeat the phrase in manifold ways. “The one you love is tired, sad, hungry, lonely, fearful, depressed.” The words of the prayer vary, but the response never changes. The Savior hears the prayer. He silences heaven so he won’t miss a word. The Master heard the request. Jesus stopped whatever he was doing and took note of the man’s words. This anonymous courier was heard by God.
John’s message is critical. You can talk to God because God listens. Your voice matters in heaven. He takes you very seriously. When you enter his presence, the attendants turn to you to hear your voice. No need to fear that you will be ignored. Even if you stammer or stumble, even if what you have to say impresses no one, it impresses God—and he listens.
Intently. Carefully. The prayers are honored as precious jewels. Purified and empowered, the words rise in a delightful fragrance to our Lord. “The smoke from the incense went up from the angel’s hand to God” (Rev. 8:4). Incredible. Your words do not stop until they reach the very throne of God.
One call and heaven’s fleet appears. Your prayer on earth activates God’s power in heaven.
You are the someone of God’s kingdom. Your prayers move God to change the world. You may not understand the mystery of prayer. You don’t need to. But this much is clear: Actions in heaven begin when someone prays on earth. What an amazing thought!
When you speak, Jesus hears.
And when Jesus hears, the world is changed.
All because someone prayed.
Thank you my friends for being part of the KKIM prayer family!

Prayer Needed KKIM/DDC

Dear KKIM Family,

May we come together in prayer for 6 year old Reneesha Box.

We have been praying for Reneesha and she was feeling better and she went to

school today.

Then the Doctor called her dad, Bobby Box, at work today with the news that the

blood test did not come back good. Reneesha is going to have an MRI of her

liver tomorrow.

Please pray for healing, please pray for the family as they go through this stressful

time.

As Henry Bosch said, "The perfect antidote for fear is trust in God."

If we ask anything according to HIS will, HE hears us. 1 John 5:14

Please come together in prayer for little Reneesha.

I close with this wonderful note from Karen Rowe, the host of "Hope In Today" on KKIM Saturdays at 7:45AM............

The LORD recently enabled me to understand this scripture in a personal way...and the more that I meditate over it, the more I receive...I hope that you are blessed by the WORD today...

"They may be ever seeing, but never perceiving, and ever hearing, but never understanding; otherwise they might turn and be forgiven"
....The Word of God...written in red as the words spoken by Jesus... found in Mark 4:12, but also spoken and referred to in Mt 13:14, Isa 6:9 and Ac 28:26

AND

I don't know who wrote this, but it is worth sharing. We have so much hope today, are we singing?

"Hope is like a bird,
that senses dawn, and
carefully starts to sing...
while it is still dark."

prayer needs

Here are a couple of prayer Needs.........

The Director of The Storehouse food pantry here in Albuquerque, Lee Maynard told me today that they now feed 40,000 people...

Just think of it..........picture Lobo football stadium full of hungry people. The Storehouse feeds about 7 to 8 percent of

Albuquerque. Lee said that some food pantry's in the United States have closed because of the lack of support in their

communities. That is not the case here in the Duke City as the citizens have responded to the need of the Storehouse for

donations. In a scene never seen before at the Storehouse, a man showed up in a suit and tie because he lost his job

and had to get food for his family and then go on a job interview. Please keep the hungry in your prayers and the folks like Lee

who work at The Storehouse.

Here is an update on Gail who we have been praying for..............

Greetings Dewey and family,
Please keep praying for Gail, she is not doing very good, and the prayers of the 'Prayer Warriors' are needed very much. She has very many friends and family that are hurting so very much right now. Gods Will Be Done On Earth As It Is In Heaven.
In Gods Grace, Sam

Dewey,
Bill Haley was a good friend of mine, he taught me horseback riding when I was younger.
He also just passed away, He was only 50 years old am so sad your friend Cowboy Clarence

prayer requests

Our prayers are with Cowboy Clarence and his family as his Uncle Richard passed away yesterday in Albuquerque. Clarence knows that his Uncle Richard is now with the Lord, but will miss him here on earth. Uncle Richard used to take Clarence to a lot of festivals and they had lot's of fun together. Please keep the family in your prayers.

Please pray for Gene Jenkins of Santa Fe who has skin cancer. Please pray for healing.

Please pray for a good outcome of the hearing at the Roundhouse and the Meeting of
Catholic Leaders with Gov. Richardson this afternoon.

This afternoon at 2:30 is the first hearing on the same sex marriage bill. Please keep this in your prayers. Also please pray for Gov. Bill Richardson that he will have a change of heart. Keep this in your prayers........The Gov. is going to meet with leaders of the Catholic Church this afternoon at 3:30. The Gov. is Catholic. The Catholic Church is one of the leaders in trying to get the same sex marriage bill defeated. Let us pray for our Gov. What is happening here is so AWESOME! Last night on New Mexico News and Views Pastor Steve Smothermon talked about the efforts of all.........Evangelicals, Protestants, Catholics.......all coming together to defeat this bill. The Catholic Church leaders have a letter from the Pope denouncing this bill. Walls are coming down and brining God's people together, that is one blessing I see going on here!

Prayer Need KKIM/DDC

Dear KKIM Family!

I PRAISE GOD for you!

I am so thankful to have you with us today as we come together to pray for Torrance County Deputy Sheriff Dominique Smith, or as many called him, Dom. Dom was severely injured as he was investigating a crime scene Monday night on I-40. He was on the shoulder of the road and struck by a car going 60 miles an hour. Dom died at the University of New Mexico Hospital yesterday.

Dom leaves behind his wife, Heather and two children. We were contacted by the County yesterday to let you all know that a fund drive has been started for Deputy Dom's family.

Donations can be made to the Deputy Smith Memorial Fund at any Wells Fargo bank in the state of New Mexico. All proceeds will go to his wife and children.

Please join us in prayer for the family.

A friend loveth at all times. Proverbs 17:17

My friends, may you sense the LORD's loving presence today.........Dewey Sharon and family

Hi Dewey:

Wanted to let you know Tom's father passed away early yesterday morning (Sun.).......I know Tom and his family covet your prayers during this time.

Last week his father had been improving, and they had even evaluated his residence to see if he could possibly come home Tues. of this week---guess he ultimately did get to go home....:)

I know Tom values your friendship and wanted to let you know.....thanks.

Janet Eldridge
Lewis & Associates

Yes, Janet Tom's Father did get to go home! AMEN By the way Tom was just here at KKIM and put on the Cross International Radio-A-Thon in Nov. I should add that I still get calls from people that want to give to Cross International...........you can go on line to www.crossinternational.org Our effort is for orphans in Mozambique.

Dewey,

Thanks for the note and keeping me in your prayers. I'm slowly on the
mend, but learned Friday I've got to have another one or two screws
inserted in the ankle on Tuesday. They took another x-ray on Friday and
discovered that, after the swelling went down, there's too big of a gap
between the ball of the ankle and the outside bone. So, they've got to
insert another screw, maybe two, to close the gap. They inserted three
other screws earlier that will remain in the ankle. These one or two new
ones will be taken out later.
...Keep up the good work -- God's work!

Dave Fjeld Windom,

We have these prayer needs...........

Lilly needs prayer
Please also pray for baby Lilly as she is having problems breathing.

Thank you for your prayers for baby Lilly.

Dear Dewey,
I would hope you would consider my prayer request. I have been in severe pain for over seven years due a medical practice error done on my back. I have been told nothing can be done except for multiple medications, which are breaking down my body. I pray to God every night for my husband and daughter because they are always there to lend me a hand when I need one. Bill and I were only married a few years when this happened and it ended my beloved nursing career, but still he has stood strong beside me and I love him for that. We will celebrating our 10th anniversary on Valentines Day and have decided to throw a big party to celebrate. Could you please keep me in your prayers, you never know a few extra might help ease the pain. Thank you.

Please keep Melissa, Bill and family in your prayers!

Please pray for Ruth Ann Carr.........

Oh Dewey,

My sister, Ruth Ann Carr in Phoenix has had serious health issues since

Oct 29th. Just a few minutes ago, we got the news, she has lung cancer.

Nik sent this in...it is AWESOME!

Small Straws In A Soft Wind by Marsha Burns --
I call you, My people, to come forth and stand against corruption in every area of your experience. Choose to stand in truth, honesty, integrity and incorruptibility. There is a mighty conflict in the heavenly realm as the powers of good and evil collide. The terrible sound of this clash will shake heaven and people and nations of the earth. Though you are in the world, you are not of it; you are citizens of My kingdom and are the offspring of righteousness. You must discern and choose between good and evil. Choose well. Justice will prevail, says the Lord.
Hebrews 5:14 But solid food belongs to those who are of full age, that is, those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

God be with You all, Dewey Sharon and family

Prayer need just in KKIM/DDC

Dear KKIM family,

"My life is worth nothing unless I use it for doing work assigned me by the Lord Jesus" My favorite verse.........that is why we are Here.......at this moment to serve our LORD and HIS people.......nothing is more important.....That is why I emailed you this prayer need right away from John Jelso for his dear Mother and Sister. God's people have no hours in serving each other, we are to be in constant prayer......

Hello Dewey,

My Sister, Gina Heise , spent two weeks over Christmas and New Year’s in the hospital due to an infection she had from a minor surgery. While there, it was discovered she had blood clotting in her lungs and throughout her body. Not good at all. She apparently has a Lupus-type blood issue that will mean she must be on blood thinners for the rest of her life. She was finally allowed to go home to recover on Monday night. Last night, Tuesday, my Mother had to take her back to the hospital emergency room because she was experiencing severe pain in her lower extremities and the muscles in her body were twitching. They were both scared and my Sister was in extreme discomfort. Finally, this morning, they admitted her back to the hospital. Not that many things in life cause me to worry. But, this time is different and I am extremely concerned about my Sisters health and that of my Mother’s (still recovering from a heart attack a few months ago). My Mother has had very little rest over the last several weeks and it definitely shows. My Sister has two young children who are going nuts over not having their Mother home with them. They are very scared, as you can imagine. Can you please ask everyone to pray for my Sister and my Family that she (and my Mother’s) health improves quickly so that life can return to normal. Thanks for all the prayers!

God Bless,

John Jelso

Prayers Needed

Dear Dewey,

I wanted to write and ask for all the prayers we can get for Gail as she goes in for very invasive surgery on Tuesday. Tomorrow(Monday) is her birthday and we are having a party for her. She is such a great Gal and having big understandable issues of FEAR. Sam and I have been talking about how we can't get her off our minds.
Please ask for continued prayer.
God Bless
Nicole
