Dear KKIM Family,
May the Strength and Peace of our Father be with you and yours!
Yes, “it is good to sing praises to our God”—-at all times Ps 147:1
From Karen Rowe on Twitter this am………
It’s Monday! I’m watching the horses plan their day…it doesn’t look like they are too worried about it! Hope you were blessed by this!
Yep……..good one Karen………
I see the doggies are not worried………
The Robins in the yard are not worried…………
It’s only the guys driving 85 miles an hour down the road that appear to be worried……..
Sharon and I pray that you had a wonderful day of Worship yesterday.
I was able to share a bit at our Easter Service……..Pastor Jim gave the best sermon that Sharon and I have heard in years!
Here is some of the scripture that Pastor Jim sent us to………
Romans 10:9
that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your own heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
Mark 16:9-16
Now when He rose early on the first day of the week, He appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom He had cast seven demons.
She went and told those who had been with Him, as they mourned and wept.
And when they heard that He was alive and had been seen by her, they did not believe.
After that, He appeared in another form to two of them as they walked and went into the country.
And they went and told it to the rest, but they did not believe them either.
Later He appeared to the eleven as they sat at the table, and He rebuked their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they did not believe those who had seen Him after He had risen.
And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.
“he who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.”
During my opening message to our Easter Service I read Ephesians 4:1-16
and Mark 10:45……..
For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve and to give His life a ransom for many.
Christ has Risen!
Now let us get busy and carry out the Great Commission!
In softball practice or in the game I love it when I get really dirty..it means I played hard……..well.It is time for us all to get our uniform’s dirty for Christ! Let’s get to work!
James 4:14
For what is your life? It is a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away.
Let us use our time for HIM!
There is nothing more important than giving our lives to our Lord.
My life is worth nothing unless I use it for doing the work assigned me by the Lord Jesus Acts 20:24
Are you doing the work assigned to you by the Lord?
So that was the basic message I gave yesterday.
Pastor Jim just told me that I will be filling in for him this Sunday morning at 11am. We had a FULL house yesterday .I pray that many of those Easter Lillie’s stay in bloom!
Let us Pray….Lord we pray that we will carry with us all days the message of Easter…that we will fulfill the Great Commission. In the name of Jesus, AMEN!
In the Love of Christ, Dewey Sharon and family
