Dear KKIM/KARS Family,
May the Lord be with you this day and all days……
May we all be about Our Father’s Business.
Let us pull out our Bibles……….and a cup of coffee…Gretchen brought us a bunch of Starbucks Coffee that we grind fresh.WOW! so good!!!
NEVER FORGET THE POWER OF ONE: Joshua 23:10-11 “One man of you puts to flight a thousand, since it is the Lord your God who fights for you, just as he promised you. Be very careful therefore to love the LORD your God”
Pastor Alan Hawkins had that posted on Facebook, AWESOME!
WOW! What an amazing time we had this Thanksgiving season…..Family, Love, and Peace. Much Peace. It is sad for me to leave the last 4 days……but they are good memories and I will carry them with me.
I talked with Pastor Garland Moore of Immanuel Baptist Church in Grants/Milan, NM(KKIM Mondays 3:30, Sundays 9:45am and 5:05pm) he shared with me that he received a wonderful donation from an inmate at one of the Prisons here in New Mexico! KKIM/KARS penetrates through the walls of prisons…..A while back a Mother called me to tell me that KKIM had helped bring her son to Christ, he also was an inmate at a local prison. PRAISE GOD, For God’s Glory Alone!
I always tell our Radio Evangelists that you never know who is listening…….You will never know how many people you touched through KKIM/KARS until you get to Heaven! God does not care about the number of emails or phone calls or donations you get, he cares about having many carry out the Great Commission.
Talking about never hearing from people, but they are reading or listening……This past week I began a journey on Facebook, I still don’t have it all figured out.but all of a sudden I am hearing from people I have not heard from in 30 plus years…..since I left Windom, Minn and went to Brown Radio/TV School!!! PRAISE GOD! I was told by Darin Falk who lives in Fargo, ND who is a cousin that I have not seen in 35 years that his Mom, Janice, who lives in Windom, Minn, cuts out the columns that I write for the Windom paper and saves them because they are such a good message and easy to understand. PRAISE GOD! For God’s Glory Alone! We BOAST in the GOODNESS of the LORD! See, my point is YOU NEVER know who is paying attention out there and receiving the message..I had no idea that Janice was saving my writings and Garland had know idea that he was reaching that inmate. I had a fellow on the phone tell me,
“Dewey, I listen to every word you say!” That floored me, he pays very close attention to what I say, I bring that up because we must be careful what we say and what we write, people trust us, act on our words. Another lady said to me that she takes the Daily Cup and transfers it into her Countries home language and sends it off into an email to her family back home! Can you believe that!!!! Just one more……A lady says to me over the phone from Chimayo, NM that she hates to admit it, but she said, “I don’t know what I was doing, but I have had my head in the sand, I found KKIM and your news…..I had no idea of all what’s going on in the world, until I found KKIM!” Now that comment might seem really strange to you.but to me, NO! because KKIM/KARS brings forth news and information and Teaching programs that cannot be found anywhere else in New Mexico. We are to be the Salt and Light!
Thank you for letting me share that with you……..as many Listeners, Radio Evangelists do not know the true effectiveness of KKIM/KARS or media in general…..What seems to be a cold mike when your sitting behind it, wondering at times if your message is getting across……is actually a megaphone for Jesus Christ!
By the way we will be doing more posts on Facebook as the days go by, so join us just type in Dewey Moede once you get to Facebook, yes I know I have a face for Radio!
Yesterday at the Los Lunas Church of God I Preached, (How come we don’t use that word anymore? PREACH) When the Lord gives you a message, you need to deliver it through prayer. I pray ever second of my life……..I pray for the Lord to tell me what to do and say next…….when I don’t, I get into trouble! Anyhow the message I had yesterday was on Salvation and thanks. Let me share just a coupe of points with you……
“If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new” 2 Cor 5:17
The work of salvation means that you no longer look at things in the same way. For me, I look at this thing called BLACK FRIDAY, and see why we are in trouble, it is all about the MONEY! We are to be in a time of thanks and preparing for Jesus birthday. So I now look at things from a Biblical view, not a worldly view.
The old things in your life that you left behind when you accepted Christ, mean nothing to you, if your old habits are still with you, then it is absurd to talk about being born again.
Are you looking at things from a Worldly view or Biblical view?
Here is your homework…….the other part of my message was on thanks…….Luke 17: 11-19 of the ten lepers who were healed by Jesus, but only one of them came back to Jesus and fell at His feet thanking Him. Please read this story and pray over God’s Word. Then read all of Luke 17.
Here is truly a letter of thanks……….
Happy Thanksgiving day Dewey. There was a time when I could go up north and have this day of thanks with my family up north then we said goodbye to my mother then to our father so we started gathering at my sister’s house then we said goodbye to her so we started gathering at my brothers house. We said goodbye to him a couple of years ago …so we stopped gathering and now I have my Albq friends that are like my family. I get to see my three brothers that are present in this life. We had dinner together last week All that to say, I am grateful that God is always truly there for us no matter what. He loves us beyond measure imagine that. I am so grateful that God is my father and I will never have to say goodbye to Him. My relationship with Him only gets better when I learn to trust Him more everyday. He is such a good Father. God bless you and I hope you can be present each moment with what you have and what God has given you and your family. Patti
Paul Dokken passes this prayer need along……….
We are asking everyone to say a prayer for “Darkhorse” 3rd Battalion 5th Marines and their families. They are fighting it out in Afghanistan & they have lost 9 marines in 4 days. IT WOULD BE NICE TO SEE the message spread if more could past it on.
Semper Fi, God Bless America and
God Bless the United States Marine Corps…

Imagine if you were caught in this surprise at your local Mall………..amazing, Sharon and I cried………Sharon had this sent to her by Valerie and Eric and Chris also sent it in, THANKS!
Finally, Today we have been talking about the World View/Biblical View…….look at what is happening at APS, we told you about this months ago…here is where we are at..please pray…….
ALERT
APS-REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH RECOMMENDATIONS MEETING
WHEN: Wednesday, December 1st-5 PM
WHERE: APS Building-Rio Grande Room
6400 Uptown Blvd, NE
WHY: To approve implemenation of the statement below:
The APS School Health Advisory Council recommends that School Based Health Centers in APS high schools be allowed to prescribe and dispense contraception to students per the advice of the medical provider at that facility. Furthermore, we recommend that all APS high school nurses be allowed to dispense condoms to students that request information on reproductive health services. This statement and advice is based on current evidenced based practices that promote healthy behaviors and prevent unplanned pregnancies and the spread of disease.
* This will remove the need for parental consent for students to receive contraception at all high schools in the APS district.
* This proposal has been discussed for the last 6 months at SHAC (School Health Advisory Council) meetings, with very little awareness and input from parents.
* If APS adopts this recommendation, many other school districts in the state will likely follow its lead.
WHAT CAN YOU DO TO STOP THIS?
* Attend a Planning and Strategy Mtg for Concerned Parents on MONDAY, NOVEMBER 29th at 7 PM at City Church-3320 San Pedro, Albuquerque
* Attend the SHAC Mtg on WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 1st-address above
* Express your dismay and opposition to the following SHAC members who will vote whether or not to recommend this to the APS School Board. Do so BEFORE 12/1.
