Dear KKIM/KARS family,
Let us be about Our Fathers Business Today and all days………
Sharon and I the kid’s, Frank Haley, Ryan Freeman, Pastor Mark Tross, Sandy Harrington, Pastor Leonard Navarre, Pastor Jim Montoya, Pastor Paul Holt, and Pastor Larry Moss all appreciate so much your love and prayers……so many of you of late have expressed such love to us……..we are thankful for you all.
We covet your prayers.
Dena sent in this scripture……..
Psalm 119:72 “The law of Your mouth is better to me than thousands of coins of gold and silver.”
Christians try to assure people of going to heaven when they don’t know how to assure them of their relationship with God. My assurance comes only when I personally believe and this is something I cannot do for someone else. Only when I truly believe right about my relationship can I truly believe about my going to heaven.
The Words of Pastor Bob Elness who grew up across the street from me in Windom, Minn.
We will open up the mailbag in just a moment….much mail today…..love it!
Yesterday afternoon Pastor Mark Tross received this email from Persephopne Wilson an Official of Planned Parenthood and also a member of the APS Health Advisory Committee……….
It has been decided that it is premature to vote on this issue at this time.
Persephone Wilson
Interim VP of Education
Planned Parenthood of New Mexico
(505) 265-5976 ext. 306
Pastor Mark Tross reported from the meeting live on NM News and Views and we interviewed several people. Needless to say I think APS and the Council where surprised at the turn out and all the emails and phone calls they got. Your prayers mean so much, your voice means so much! We must be the Salt and Light, we must fight for our Children and their Children. Pastor Mark said that many went away disappointed because they really didn’t take much Public input at all.
No vote was taken at the meeting on Condom distribution. This agenda of condom distribution will be continued to be pushed by many. By the way how does one get on the Health Advisory Council? Who decides that? Planned Parenthood is on it, did you know that?
I thank you all who emailed and called APS, Once again the KKIM/KARS family responded. The main thing is your prayers and your continued prayers are so much appreciated.
Here is a note I got before the meeting yesterday from Pastor Paul, 8:30am Saturdays Weekend Edition of NM News and Views…….
Dewey,
I have been preparing to teach this evening on Hanukkah at our bible study. Today(Yesterday) is the 25th of Kislev on the Hebrew calendar, the first of the eight days of Hanukkah. Why do I bring this up as the APS school board meeting on the promotion of promiscuity, I mean contraception happens tonight? Hanukkah means dedication and is a commemoration of the great Maccabee revolution. A couple of hundred years before our Lord’s appearance in Bethlehem, a cruel emperor, Antiochus Epiphanes, controlled what was and is again Israel. He commanded that God’s people no longer obey the Lord. They were no longer allowed to read the Scriptures, keep the biblical diet, obey the commandments of God including circumcision and Sabbath observance. The punishment for serving the Lord was swift and severe. A woman who allowed her son to be circumcised was executed and her son hung. It was not until an old man and his family rebelled and shouted “Let everyone who is zealous for the Torah and who stands for the covenant follow after me!” that the people made a firm stand for God and fled to the mountains, fighting for freedom over a three year period until they took back Jerusalem and took back the temple. Three years before on the 25th of Kislev, Antiochus Epiphanes desecrated the temple by setting up an idol to Zeus and offering a pig on the altar of God. On that same day three years later the altar and idol were torn down and the temple restored. The temple was dedicated once again to the one true God. There was a problem, however, only one container of authorized olive oil remained for the menorah, enough to burn for one day, it would take eight days to make more. A miracle occurred when the oil lasted for eight days instead of one.
I give you that very abbreviated history lesson to make this point. Throughout history we have been given a choice. Do we walk in the ways of the Lord and stand as a light in the darkness knowing full well that the cost will be great and the road difficult to travel. Or do we allow the tyrants and dictators of this world (local and national) to tell us our views are not welcome, be quiet we know better. The Lord joins the battle, but leaves us the choice of meeting the enemy. APS is telling our children that they cannot themselves and should practice “safe sex” knowing full well that it is anything but safe to have sex outside of marriage. The choice is clear, stay home tonight if you believe parents should no longer have authority over their children. Go to this meeting if you believe that the Lord and His Word have a place in the lives of your children. As another old man boldly proclaimed “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord”.

Mark Doering
Please keep Larry in your prayers, and thank you all for asking about him.
Kay gives us this update on her daughter Sherri who is going through treatment for cancer…….
Do you know that she has not had a moment of reaction to the chemo? We have been surrounded by Angels from God. The doctors, the nurses. The first chemo treatment – the nurse told a friend of hers (who also is a friend to Sherri) that when she saw a young woman going to have RCHOP (that is the acronym for the 5 chemicals they administer) she started praying. The reaction to it is severe and the doctors prepared us for it, but not a thing. How can anyone deny our Lord when miracles abound. Thank you for asking. Tomorrow is the next day of chemo. Pray for her.
Kay
PRAISE GOD! Thank you for all your prayers for Sherri!
I want to thank you all again and again for your prayers for all the needs we put up here at the CUP!

Dewey,
I am struggling with the whole advocacy thing. There is so much ungodly attitude around so many advocates that I am tired of being around them. They are morally opposed to everything I stand for as a Christian. They don’t understand that people with disabilities and their family’s have been used as pawns by left wingers for at least 40 years. We can not and should not look to the government to meet the needs of the disabled or the poor. The idea that we should aspire to a truly normal life is almost unheard of. It has been a heartfelt prayer of mine for many years to be able to escape government entitlement programs and provide a living for my family. I don’t think anyone who depends on Social Services can ever be truly free. I don’t condemn anyone who truly needs the system for using it, but when I express these thoughts most other advocates look at me like I have two heads. I wish that I could find a job and get off of the system. Do you think there would be any way to make the change I want. Is it crazy to think that asking for more services from the government is not the right thing to do? Darrell Brown
AMEN, Darrell..God be with you!
We also have these wonderful notes in our mailbag………..This from Dena of the Ministry of Dr. J. Vernon McGee, Thru The Bible, heard weekdays at 4:30am, 9:30am and 5:30pm on KKIM……..Saturdays at 9:30am, Sundays at 11am. Dena is a very special person for her heart for our Lord and also my Grandma Moede’s first name is Dena! Dena is one of the first friends I made when I came to be the Shepherd here at the Radio Ranch……..
Pastor Dewey, I asked our Heavenly Father for a special blessing today – your phone call was a special blessing! What a privilege to call you my brother in Christ. Thank you for allowing His Spirit to work in and through you so that the Lord is glorified.
We appreciate KKIM and all you do for our listeners in New Mexico I know the Lord will bless you for your generosity and faithfulness.
Psalm 119:72 “The law of Your mouth is better to me than thousands of coins of gold and silver.”

Here is Kay……..
Good Morning my friend,
God is so good to us! He brought you to my life and what a wonderful friend you are. I am blessed to know you and to pray for you and the station.
I would like to invite you and anyone else at the station who would like to come, to Las Posadas at our church on Taylor Ranch Road. It will be Sunday, December 12 and we will have the procession (if you have never done it you will find it spiritually uplifting) and then dinner at the church. We serve posole, green chile stew and mac & cheese.
The donkey that leads the procession is named Calvin. I don’t remember how old he is, but up there in the teens I believe.
Two of our children are chosen to be Mary and Joseph and Mary gets to ride on Calvin. We sing carols, Pastor reads scripture as we make the journey from “inn to inn”.
I do hope you and your wife can come. It will be a good time to visit with Pastor Dale. If you come, be sure to wear very warm clothes and bring a flashlight.
My friend Janielle Hicks will be calling the station to ask that our Las Posadas is mentioned if possible. It is for everyone.
Bless you my friend and may your day be filled with the joy of the Lord!
Love in Christ,
Kay
Let us pray and give thanks to our LORD………
