RESPONSES TO THE CUP POSTING KKIM/KARS
Good morning Pastor Dewey,
Thank you so much for taking time each and every day to send us the encouraging words of your cup. My prayer today is that each woman attending the Los Lunas
Church of God Women’s Ministry meeting this morning will be blessed and have that closer relationship with our Lord. We will be lifting Sharon up in prayer this morning and together we are believing for complete healing. God bless you Brother Dewey and I am looking forward to the word you bring tomorrow morning.
Shalom,
Wanell
Thank you for the cup of deep thought. I am beginning to get my energy back after the shock at my last job. This last week I apologize for not stopping by as I had indicated I would. I put my house here in Albuquerque up for rent. I put the casita up for rent. I can’t afford the payment on this house without a job. I am excited what the future holds. Thanks for loving me unconditionally. (This is from a dear friend of the CUP……..and I am withholding her name because of special circumstances, to protect her from a backlash, but please be in prayer for our Friend, Our Lord knows.
I am going to buy the Foster book – you have encouraged and inspired me. I am right now sharing some of your thoughts with a friend in China!

Thanks for sharing this Dewey. It is my opinion that in America as a nation our mindsets are closer to the Epictetus or stoic way of thinking than the Hebraic. That’s why I believe the Lord has led me to study so much from the Old Testament and dig deeper in His word to understand our Hebrew roots.
As I was reading through your “Morning Cup” this morning, I kept thinking about Moses. Moses is a good example of a true intercessor. Then you included the Exodus scripture about Moses praying and God “changing his mind” because of Moses’ prayer. We, God’s people, must pray! I remember when God convicted me about prayerlessness being a sin. (1 Sam 12:23) I still forget and must be reminded frequently. Thanks for reminding me.
This is a fascinating study on prayer and I look forward to gleaning insights from you.
