Dear KKIM/KARS Family,
Thank you for stopping by for a CUP with us….we are praying over your name this morning.
We encourage you to devote one hour a day of reading God’s Word and praying…..listening……..be alert….be aware…..
The Most POWERFUL GODLY things will happen in your life you do that!
Last night I met with Jannetta LaMort our Web Master here at the CUP and one of the Main people at the Albuquerque Rescue Mission and her husband to be Jim. I have the Godly Honor of marrying these two lovely people on New years Eve. What a Godly love they have for each other and the love they have for the Lord and God’s people is so AWESOME! It was just such a blessing to be with them last night as they prepare for their special day. I love working with couples as they prepare for marriage! To see that love…..that Godly love…….I pray that the love they have for each other will only grow…….and the love that they have for the Lord will continue to grow. Please pray over Jannetta and Jim.
A while back, what about 2 months ago now, I married Grace and Peter. I continue to hear from Grace and Peter, they sent Sharon and I pictures from the wedding and Christmas goodies. Their love continues to grow for each other and the love that they have for the Lord continues to grow.
I bring this up for God’s Glory Alone, it is so exciting to see this love……..TRUE LOVE, when I meet with couples we have such Godly conversations and PRAISE GOD everyone becomes vulnerable, as that is what needs to take place to build solid relationships, not only in marriage but in our relationship with the Lord.
We, the Body of Christ then need to stay close to couples who get married……we must not forget them after the Wedding. I love staying close to Grace and Peter and look forward to doing the same with Jannetta and Jim.
We the Body of Christ, need to do the same when someone is Baptized, I sometimes hear from folks that we had many baptized this past Sunday…….I then pray for follow through by the Body of Christ. Sometimes we get all tied up in excitement and then we forget they are just babes and are easily tripped up by satan.
The same for funeral’s……we must stand by people who have lost loved ones and not just disappear after the funeral.
Sometimes, Pastor’s and people of the Church get all tied up in the “day” or the “event” and there is no follow through.
Our LORD call’s us to stay close to HIS people.
Here is Max Lucado……
Thank the Lord because
he is good. His love continues forever.
Psalm 106:1
Unfortunately, saying “thank you” isn’t all that common.
And yet, it’s what worship is all about.
Worship is when you’re aware that what you’ve been given is far greater than what you can give. Worship is that awareness that were it not for his touch, you’d still be hurting, bitter and broken. Worship is the half-glazed expression on the parched face of a desert pilgrim as he discovers that the oasis is not a mirage.
When we try to make a science out of worship—we can’t do it. No more than we can “sell love” or “negotiate peace.”
Worship is a voluntary act of gratitude offered by the saved to the Savior, by the healed to the Healer, and by the delivered to the Deliverer.
Worship is the “thank you” that refuses to be silenced.

December 28, 2011. I am blessed by your thankful heart. Like parents giving gifts to their loved ones, friends and others, I receive great benefits by giving. But there is something special that happens when those receiving are generous in their thanks. Show your thankful heart to Me today. Be lifted up by placing your mind on things above. Those things would include, love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Before these things can manifest and remain, there must be consistency over time, which means you must put to death thoughts and deeds of the flesh. The Lord says, “Give Me your mind and spirit and I will do wonders in your body. I will cause you to shine like Jesus.”
Galatians 5:22-24 (NASB) “But the fruit of the Spirit; against such things there is no law. Subscribe to “What the Lord Is Saying Today” December 28, 2011. I love this time of year as I begin thinking about the harvest the Lord wants for me next year? We lived on a farm in Tennessee when our children were young teenagers. Every year at this time we would begin thinking of what we wanted in our garden next year? What would be good to plant, watch grow and then harvest? “What do you want next year? Tell Me. I have good seeds and good soil in which to plant. I have a good harvest ahead for you. Believe, listen and do what you hear. You will look back and remember when you started thinking this way. It will come about.” Matthew 13:23 (AMP) As for what was sown on good soil, this is he who hears the Word and grasps and comprehends it; he indeed bears fruit and yields in one case a hundred times as much as was sown, in another sixty times as much, and in another thirty.” Bev Robinson – Bev Robinson – Only 4 days left in 2011. Scroll down slowly to see “Photo of the Day” from Philippine Mission December 28, 2011. You have begun to worry again about how certain provisions are going to be attained. Though it seems there will be a significant delay in the way I answer your prayer requests, I have the bigger picture in mind. I am in the process of making matters work to your benefit. Don’t focus on the demand, but rather put your emphasis on the supplier. Keep your eyes focused on Me and not on the situation. Though the answers to problems you were dealing with did not get resolved on your time schedule, I am in control of those issues. I am giving you provision much like I did for Abraham. Last night on New Mexico News and Views I talked about this PLAN B of satan. This write up was in the Albuquerque Journal. When I picked up the paper from the driveway on Tuesday morning……….as soon as the paper touched my hands my stomach went sour…….I said to the Lord, What is wrong this day, Lord? Then I looked at the headline toward the bottom of the paper……….This fellow from New Mexico with ties to the University of New Mexico says Plan B decision was Political not scientific! Nothing to say it being a Biblical decision. He says the worst that could happen with someone taking this pill is that they vomit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Nothing said about the killing of a child!!!!!!!!!!!! The worst that can happen is that the women vomits! I share this with you because this is how insensitive to life much of our society has become! This is a HUGE example of the darkness right here in New Mexico! I don’t know what’s going on at the University of New Mexico but it seems of late every time I turn around they are involved in Abortion’s!!!! NM State Rep. Alonzo Baldonado from Valencia County was with me last night. This is just not a problem in New Mexico, but everywhere in the United States of America. We the people of God, must act!!
Please read this…………..
Critics Say Plan B Decision ‘Political’
By Amanda Schoenberg / Journal Staff Writer on Tue, Dec 27, 2011
A decision not to make Plan B One-Step emergency contraception available to girls under 16 without a prescription is drawing fire in New Mexico — which has one of the highest teen pregnancy rates in the nation.
Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius, an Obama appointee, overruled the Food and Drug Administration, which had deemed the drug safe for younger girls.
If Sebelius had lifted the restriction, Plan B could have been sold alongside aspirin and condoms.
Dr. Lance Chilton, a pediatrician at the Young Children’s Health Center in Albuquerque and associate professor of pediatrics at the University of New Mexico, says he was disappointed in what he called a political, not a scientific decision.
“This is a medication where the benefits far outweigh any possible risks even if it is used wrong,” says Chilton, who writes a column for the Journal.
The biggest risk from Plan B is vomiting, he says.
Plan B One-Step, an emergency contraceptive shown here, remains available only by prescription for girls under 16 after a recent decision by Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius. (the associated press)
Advocates for increased access to Plan B say it is an effective way to prevent unintended pregnancies while opponents say it encourages unsafe and premarital sex.
I bring this up to you this morning so we can all pray that this be gone from the World that the LORD will destroy these plans of man. I do not just bring this up to complain, but for us to pray over this matter that this be gone, gone. State Rep. Baldonado just shook his head and shared his grief with us that this is being considered in the United States of America.
Is this what our Society has become? Far too many say the worst that could happen is that the women vomit’s……and they say NOTHINHG about the dead baby?
We will continue to watch issues like this on KKIM/KARS and at the CUP and sound the alarm, as Watchman on the wall. Thank the Lord that this plan has stopped for now, but we must be alert.
I have to say that State Rep. Nora Espinoza was right on with her praise of State Rep. Alonzo Baldonado. Nora says he such a Godly man. We were really blessed getting to know him and his lovely wife Rebecca on NM News and Views. We need more Legislature’s like Alonzo. Talking to him gives me hope for our future. Alonzo has endorsed Pastor Dan Lewis for Congress because of Dan’s Biblical stance. Alonzo made it perfectly clear that he, himself, is 100% pro-life and will continue to fight that way in our State Legislature.
I also have to say this…I thank the LORD for the discernment HE has given me……that the Holy Spirit moves in me, warning me of danger, the darkness, satan, that something is bad in here…….One of the things that happens to me is my stomach turns sour……like I want to throw up this darkness here on earth………sad to report that I have had a very sour stomach for many consecutive days because of all the darkness around..the lies that are coming out of so called leaders mouths…….I have to tell you that one of the greatest lies being told to we, the American people, is that this War with Iraq is over…..it is far from over…..we are in a World War. To many American’s have their heads buried in the sand.
Pray for people to come to Jesus Christ……..reach out to people…….be alert………..be aware……We are living in a time where Biblical Prophecy is happening right before our eye’s!!!!!!!!!
I pray that you will receive discernment from the LORD, so that you instantly see and feel the darkness….that you will be keenly aware.
That you will share JESUS with everyone……..That your LIGHT will SHINE for HIM!!!
I pray that GOD’S People SHINE BRIGHTLY more than ever!
Now this brings us to this point………..

Humidity and Your Health
A major problem in any home or office environment is that we need some airborne moisture in order to prevent our mucous membranes from drying out and then triggering attacks of ear, sinus or lung infection, therefore aim for 40% humidity in the home or office at all times. Some moisture is good. But when the humidity climbs too high in a home or office – or when “standing water” is allowed to remain on the premises for more than a few hours – you’ll find yourself confronting a host of pathogens designed to thrive in this more tropical environment, with potentially serious consequences for your own good health.
Rules of Thumb
To prevent window condensation during the heating season, the recommended indoor RH is 30% to 50%. When it is below -10°C (14°F) outdoors, recommended indoor RH is 30%.
Taking Action
Humidity can be controlled. If the Relative Humidity (RH) in your home is too high, you can reduce it; if it is too low, you can increase it.
In summer, you can reduce house humidity levels by the use of a dehumidifier or by running an air conditioner.
In winter, a house that is too wet usually has some high moisture sources (for example, a damp basement, roof leaks, many plants). Deal with these problems first. If high humidity persists, you may need to make simple changes in your family’s habits, such as remembering to open or close doors or windows. Or, you can install equipment, such as exhaust fans in bathrooms or a heat recovery ventilator (HRV), to remove excess humidity.
Very low indoor RH levels in the winter may result from cold, dry air leaking in from outside. In this case, sealing up the house by weather stripping and caulking will improve humidity conditions indoors and may reduce your heating bills at the same time.
If low humidity problems persist, despite air tightening the house, consider the use of a humidifier. Humidifiers — both stand-alone humidifiers and humidifiers attached to your furnace — will increase indoor RH levels. But if they are not installed, used and maintained properly, they can also be sources of excess moisture and mold in your home.
Relative Humidity
Humidity is normally measured as relative humidity (RH). RH is a percentage that indicates the amount of moisture in the air relative to the maximum amount the air can hold at that temperature. For instance, when air at a given temperature contains all the water vapor it can hold at that temperature, it has a RH of 100%. If the humidity exceeds 100%, moisture will begin to condense from the air. If the air contains only half the water it can hold at that temperature, the RH is 50%.
Warm air can hold more moisture than cool air, so that the RH of a sample of air will change as the temperature changes, even though the actual amount of moisture in the sample air does not. For example, as a sample of air cools the RH rises.
Diagnosing the Humidity Problem
Humidity levels in your home can be too high or too low. In either case, problems can result. Instead of guessing whether or not you have a humidity problem inside your house, why not find out for sure?
A hygrometer can provide the information you need to determine whether you have a humidity problem — but it must be accurate to be useful. Purchase only the best from your local hardware store if you feel humidity could be a problem in your home or office.
A small, inexpensive and easy-to-use instrument called a hygrometer (sometimes referred to as a humidity sensor or relative humidity indicator) can measure the humidity level in your house or office and confirm objectively whether it has too much or too little humidity. Once you know for sure, you can decide whether any action is required and, if so, what action.
If you have a humidity problem, it can usually be controlled.
Typical symptoms of too much humidity
Condensation on windows
Wet stains on walls and ceilings
Moldy bathroom
Musty smells
Allergic reactions
Long-term effects
Damage to the house and its contents
Ongoing allergies
Other health problems
Typical symptoms of too little humidity
Chapped skin and lips
Scratchy nose and throat
Breathing problems
Static and sparks
Problems with electronic equipment
Long term effects
Continuing discomfort
Damage to furniture and other items
Until you get a hygrometer, try these two simple things:
First, look at your windows. If you have moisture forming on them, your humidity level is too high. We’re not talking one or two drops. We’re talking about enough moisture so it runs down the glass and forms little puddles on the window sill. When this happens, your humidity is way too high! If you continue to maintain this high humidity level, you are encouraging mold growth by providing the perfect environment. It will happen.
You may discover water forming on the windows in one area of your house, but not in another. For example, your bathroom window has water frequently forming on the sill while other windows in the house remain dry. This tells you that you have too much humidity in your bathroom, probably because you’re not operating the exhaust fan long enough after taking a shower. The rest of the house is okay.
Now you know if there’s too much humidity in your house. What about too little?
To determine if it’s too dry, you look for another simple, yet accurate indicator. Static electricity. Do you get static electric shocks when you walk across the carpet and touch something metal? Is it impossible to comb your hair without having several strands stick straight out? Is your hair attracted to your comb or brush? Does the cat’s fur stick out when you pet her?
These are all signs that it’s too dry in your house. You need more humidity.
Now that you know how easy it is to check, you don’t need to wonder about your indoor humidity level. You’ll know almost instantly if it’s too humid or too dry.
Thank you Dr. Joe!
