It was a year ago this day that my Uncle Joe passed onto to heaven! He is with me everyday as I am reminded by those things that he taught me.
When I think of Joe everyday like I do……I go to Proverbs 4:20-27
My son, pay attention to my words;
listen closely to my sayings.
Don’t lose sight of them;
keep them in your heart.
For they are life to those who find them,
and health to one’s whole body.
Guard your heart above all else,
for it is the source of life.
Don’t let your mouth speak dishonestly,
and don’t let your lips talk deviously.
Let your eyes look forward;
fix your gaze stright ahead.
Carefully consider the path
for your feet.
and all your ways will be established.
Don’t turn to the right or to the left;
keep your feet away from evil.
My Uncle Joe led a simple life in our LORD, His life helps ground me in Jesus Christ! What I mean by simple life, he did not let man darken is doorstep. he and Aunt Mary had 38 foster Children 8 of their own, he served our Lord in many ways. Joe mentored many!
It shows again how important it is to have Godly mentor’s in our life!
Who do you surround yourself with?
Thank you LORD for my Uncle Joe!!!!!!!!!!

Dewey, I can not thank you enough for posting the prayer request about my beautiful sister Mary and her concerns over the lump in her breast ~ all results came back negative upon biopsy ~ PRAISE GOD!!! Please continue to pray for healing in her hips as she is in tremendous pain, awaiting more surgery. Also ~ late last night I received a prayer request via the prayer support group at my daughter's school; a young man they referred to as 'Dion' was wanting to end his life last night ~ they asked for prayer that 'Dion' be touched by the Holy Spirit and recognize/feel the love of Christ surrounding him. I will keep you apprised if I hear of any news regarding this, but please keep him in prayer. God bless you and each and every one of your readers/listeners/prayer warriors, Taunya Thank you for the update Taunya and we are praying for Dion. Day 35 of our 40 Day Journey together......... Psalm 31:5 Old Testament Prophecy I entrust my spirit into your hands. Luke 23:46 Fulfilled in Jesus Jesus shouting Loudly:FATHER I ENTRUST MY SPIRIT INTO YOUR HANDS!!! As prophesied by the psalmist and seen in the Gospels, Jesus entrusted His life fully into the Father's care. Even in death, He offered it up to God on our behalf with total trust and confidence that God is faithful.

JESUS DEATH – 60 SECONDS
For the next 60 seconds, set aside whatever you’re doing and take this opportunity!
Let’s see if Satan can stop this…
THE (SCIENTIFIC) DEATH OF JESUS
At the age of 33, Jesus was condemned to the death penalty.
At the time crucifixion was the “worst” death. Only the worst criminals condemned to be crucified. Yet it was even more dreadful for Jesus,
for unlike other criminals condemned to death by crucifixion Jesus was nailed to the cross by His hands and feet, rather than tied…
Each nail was 6 to 8 inches long.
The nails were driven into His wrist. Not into His palms as is commonly portrayed. There’s a tendon in the wrist that extends to the shoulder.
The Roman guards knew that when the nails were being hammered into the Wrist, that tendon would tear and break, forcing Jesus to use
His back muscles to support himself, so that He could breathe.
Both of His feet were nailed together. Thus He was forced to support Himself on the single nail that impaled His feet to the cross.
Jesus could not support himself with His legs for long because of the pain, so He was forced to alternate between arching
His back and using his legs just to continue to breath. Imagine the struggle, the pain, the suffering, the courage.
Jesus endured this reality for over 3 hours.
Yes, over 3 hours! Can you imagine this kind of suffering? A few minutes before He died, Jesus stopped bleeding. He was simply pouring water from his wounds.
From common images we see wounds to His hands and feet and even the spear wound to His side… But do we remember the many wounds made to his body.
A hammer driving large nails through the wrists, the feet overlapped and a nail hammered through the arches, then a Roman guard piercing His side with a spear.
And… before the nails and the spear, Jesus was whipped and beaten. The whipping was so severe that it tore the flesh from His body.
The beating so horrific that His face was torn and his beard ripped from His face.
The crown of thorns (two to three inch thorns) cut deeply into His scalp. Most men would not have survived this torture.
He had no more blood to bleed out, only water poured from His wounds. The human adult body contains about 5 liters (just over a gallon) of blood.
Jesus poured all 5 liters of his blood; He had three nails hammered into His body; a crown of thorns on His head and, beyond that, a Roman soldier who stabbed a spear into His
chest..
All these without mentioning the humiliation He passed after carrying His own cross for almost 2 kilometers, while the crowd
spat in his face and threw stones (the cross beam was almost 30 kg of weight, to which His hands were nailed).
Jesus had to endure this experience, so that you may have free access to God.
So that your sins can be “washed” away. All of them, with no exception! Don’t ignore this.
JESUS CHRIST DIED…FOR YOU!
Thank you for sharing Darlene…………
Let us pray……….
Father, help us to trust You with our lives the way Jesus trusted You with His. help us to see that there is nothing to fear in life or death because You are always faithful to Your children. Today, this day, We once again offer ourselves to You. Do with us as You desire for we are fully Yours. In Jesus name, AMEN!
Let’s now hear from Ray, heard weekdays on KKIM at 7:35am……….
Grace Compass
Therefore as you have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him Never again would any follower of Jesus need to follow the false headings of guilt, shame or fear, which leads to the dead end of spiritual failure. Grace is how we know we are headed in the right direction because it always points to Jesus. Scuba divers have to trust their instruments in low visibility water. Heading in the wrong direction can be deadly. If you dont rely on your instruments in low visibility water you will think up is down and down is up and you have no idea where north, south, east or west is. Something strange happens and our senses will lie to us about where we are headed. Left alone to our senses in low visibility water we will die. This is a perfect analogy to our life as followers of Jesus. Satan stirs up the waters in our life and makes it so murky we cant tell up from down and down from up or where we are headed. We have to focus on our grace compass in order to survive the moment and orient back to our true heading of Jesus. When we follow our emotions instead of Jesus we follow the false headings that satan inspires. By functioning out of guilt, shame, fear or anger; our life heads in the wrong direction. Satan gets us off our Jesus heading and with the strong currents of life, drags us out to a sea of hopelessness. This is when satan gets us to operate out of fear instead of trusting Jesus. Lets go back to our owners manual and see what It has to say about the false heading of fear and how reliable our compass is for pointing us back to the love of Jesus when it feels like God is punishing us with our circumstances. Fear is a crippling emotion that leads us off course and prevents us from standing firm when satan attacks. God gives us power and love that results in sound thinking, which redirects our heading back to Jesus. March 26, 2012. You have little to no idea how precious you are to Me. I think of you all the time. You are never out of My sight because I will not let harm nor your enemies attack you. More and more I am looking to reveal My goodness and kindness to you. Both flow through you like a sieve to others around you. You could not even count the number of people who have looked and who look for guidance and restoration through what they see and sense through you. You are in a phase of your life now where you are out of control. It is now as it should be. You have made Me your Lord and have stepped down from the throne of your life. You are My precious one.
Psalm 36:7-9 (NLT) “How precious is your unfailing love, O God! All humanity finds shelter in the shadow of your wings. You feed them from the abundance of your own house, letting them drink from your river of delights. For you are the fountain of life, the light by which we see.” Ras Robinson

March 26, 2012. You are making the right choices. You have consistently insisted on doing the right thing, even in the face of opposition and with many of those around you making poor choices. They don’t care what others are going through, but you see and care. This gives Me great pleasure. I know what you have been up against and I am so proud of you. Some others don’t see what they are doing… how they are not caring. Some will see you as an example and change some of their ways. Keep making right choices and doing the right thing. Your actions and the changed actions of others will change the atmosphere.
1 Chronicles 4:9-10. “Jabez was more honorable than his brothers; and his mother called his name Jabez, saying, “Because I bore him in pain.” Jabez called upon the God of Israel, saying, “Oh that you would bless me and enlarge my border, and that your hand might be with me, and that you would keep me from harm so that it might not bring me pain!” And God granted what he asked.” Bev Robinson

March 26, 2012. Dream big. Go for the outlandish things in life. Take time to experience the fullness of life along the journey. For a long time you have squelched your earnest desires for the seemingly unattainable. You have set aside your goals and aspirations for the sake of others. Many have told you that the sky is the limit for your dreams. I’ve given you the heart and mind that yearns for the unreachable. Believe. Nothing is holding you back from searching for and achieving goals you thought were out of your grasp. Begin to share your dreams with those closest to you. Allow Holy Spirit to invigorate those thoughts into reality.

We decree abundant and overflowing blessings in healing to you today!
March 25, 2012. How long will you be and remain faithful to serve Me? You know I have called you with abundant gifts and talents. So far you have used them well. I am wondering if you will finish strong. Because you have a good heart, the one I gave you, you will finish strong even if you at times need more assistance than you ever thought possible. You have always been a strong and powerful warrior in My kingdom. You will face a day when I will test your humility to let Me call others to carry you about to places you do not wish to go. Even now I have some tests before you to see your resolve. I tell you today that you will remain strong and faithful with a full and long life. Face it! You no longer belong to yourself but to Me.
John 21:18 (AMP) “I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, when you were young you girded yourself [put on your own belt or girdle] and you walked about wherever you pleased to go. But when you grow old you will stretch out your hands, and someone else will put a girdle around you and carry you where you do not wish to go.” Ras Robinson

March 25, 2012. Something has been announced and you wonder if the right choice has been made. You think it may be premature. It came as a surprise, something completely unexpected. Someone has been passed by and you aren’t sure this is good. This is something you are going to have to trust authorities about. Don’t express yourself until you give it some more thought and prayer. Just because it doesn’t seem good is not reason to get in an opposition mode. Take your thoughts captive to Me. Don’t go underground and say things you will be sorry for later. Don’t spread strife in any way. Rest in absolutely thorough peace with Me.
Proverbs 28:25-26 (AMP) “He who is of a greedy spirit stirs up strife, but he who puts his trust in the Lord shall be enriched and blessed. He who leans on, trusts in, and is confident of his own mind and heart is a [self-confident] fool, but he who walks in skillful and godly Wisdom shall be delivered.” Bev Robinson

March 25, 2012. Recently the computer on which I write this word lost its Internet connection. I tried several different combinations in an attempt to resolve the issue with the portable modem. I downloaded software trying to make the system operate properly with no success. Finally I tried another computer and found a trial version of a word program to complete my daily task. Though it is somewhat delayed, I hear the Lord saying, “Persist in your pursuits. Don’t give up. Many have stopped short of the blessings I have and have had in store for them. Trust Me to deliver to you the provision I have promised.”

Let’s get today’s Medical Bag………..
The Shocking Truth about What Really Causes Heart Disease
The discovery a few years ago that inflammation in the artery wall is the real cause of heart disease is slowly leading to a concept shift in how heart disease and other chronic ailments will be treated.
The long-established old dietary recommendations have created epidemics of obesity and diabetes, the consequences of which dwarf any historical plague in terms of mortality, human suffering and dire economic consequences.
Despite the fact that 25% of the population takesexpensive statin medications and despite the fact we have reduced the fat content of our diets, more Americans will die this year of heart disease than ever before.
Statistics from the American Heart Association show that 75 million Americans currently suffer from heart disease, 20 million have diabetes and 57 million have pre-diabetes. These disorders are affecting younger and younger people in greater numbers every year. This is a terrible tragedy!
Simply stated, without inflammation being present in the body, there is no way that cholesterol would accumulate in the wall of the blood vessel and cause heart disease and strokes. Without inflammation, cholesterol would move freely throughout the body as nature intended. It is inflammation that causes cholesterol to become trapped.
Inflammation is not complicated – it is very simply your body’s natural defense to a foreign invader such as a bacteria, toxin or virus. The cycle of inflammation is perfect in how it protects your body from these bacterial and viral invaders. However, if we chronically expose the body to injury by toxins or foods the human body was never designed to process, a condition called chronic inflammation occurs. Chronic inflammation is just as harmful as acute inflammation is beneficial.
What thoughtful person would willfully expose himself repeatedly to foods or other substances that are known to cause injury to the body? Well, smokers, but at least they made that choice willfully.
The rest of us have simply followed the “recommended” mainstream diet that is low in fat and high in polyunsaturated fats and carbohydrates, not knowing we were causing repeated injury to our blood vessels. This repeated injury creates chronic inflammation leading to heart disease, stroke, diabetes and obesity.
Again: The injury and inflammation in our blood vessels is caused by the low fat diet recommended for years by mainstream medicine.
What are the biggest offenders of chronic inflammation?
They are the overload of simple, highly processed carbohydrates (sugar, flour and all the products made from them) and the excess consumption of omega-6 vegetable oils like soybean, corn and sunflower that are found in many processed foods.
Take a moment to visualize rubbing a stiff brush repeatedly over soft skin until it becomes quite red and nearly bleeding. You kept this up several times a day, every day for five years. If you could tolerate this painful brushing, you would have a bleeding, swollen infected area that became worse with each repeated injury. This is a good way to visualize the inflammatory process that could be going on in your body right now.
Regardless of where the inflammatory process occurs, externally or internally, it is the same. A diseased artery looks as if someone took a brush and scrubbed repeatedly against its wall. Several times a day, every day, the foods we eat create small injuries compoundinginto more injuries, causing the body to respond continuously and appropriately with inflammation.
While we savor the tantalizing taste of a sweet roll, our bodies respond alarmingly as if a foreign invader arrived declaring all-out war. Foods loaded with sugars and simple carbohydrates, or processed with the way out of proportion and therefore bad omega-6 oils for long shelf life have been the mainstay of the American diet for six decades. These foods have been slowly poisoning everyone.
How does eating a doughnut create a cascade of inflammation to make you sick?
Imagine spilling syrup on your keyboard and you have a visual of what occurs inside the cell. When we consume simple carbohydrates such as sugar, blood sugar rises rapidly. In response, your pancreas secretes insulin whose primary purpose is to drive sugar into each cell where it is stored for energy. If the cell is full and does not need glucose, it is rejected to avoid extra sugar gumming up the works.
When your full cells reject the extra glucose, blood sugar rises producing more insulin and the glucose converts to stored fat.
What does all this have to do with inflammation?
Blood sugar is controlled in a very narrow range. Extra sugar molecules attach to a variety of proteins that in turn injure the blood vessel wall. This repeated injury to the blood vessel wall sets off inflammation. When you spike your blood sugar level several times a day, every day, it is exactly like taking sandpaper to the inside of your delicate blood vessels.
Let’s get back to the doughnut. That innocent looking great tasting goody not only contains sugars, it is baked in one of many omega-6 oils such as soybean. Chips and fries are also soaked in soybean oil; processed foods are manufactured with omega-6 oils for longer shelf life. While omega-6’s are essential – they are part of every cell membrane controlling what goes in and out of the cell – they must be in the correct balance with omega-3’s.
If the balance shifts by consuming excessive omega-6, the cell membrane produces chemicals called cytokines that directly cause inflammation.
Today’s mainstream American diet has produced an extreme imbalance of these two fats. The ratio of imbalance ranges from 15:1 to as high as 30:1 in favor of omega-6. That’s a tremendous amount of cytokines causing inflammation. In today’s food environment, a 3:1 ratio would be optimal and healthy.
To make matters worse, the excess weight you are carrying from eating these foods creates overloaded fat cells that pour out large quantities of pro-inflammatory chemicals that add to the injury caused by having high blood sugar. The process that began with an “innocent doughnut” quickly turns into a vicious cycle over time that creates the horrors of heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes and finally, Alzheimer’s disease, as the inflammatory process continues unabated.
There is no escaping the fact that the more we consume prepared and processed foods, the more we trip the inflammation switch little by little each day. The human body cannot process, nor was it designed to consume, foods packed with sugars and soaked in omega-6 oils.
The Answer to the Problem
There is but one answer to quieting inflammation, and that is returning to foods closer to their natural state. To build muscle, eat more protein. Choose carbohydrates that are very complex such as colorful fruits and vegetables. Cut down on or eliminate inflammation – causing omega-6 fats like corn and soybean oil and the processed foods that are made from them.
One tablespoon of corn oil contains 7,280 mg of omega-6; soybean contains 6,940 mg. Instead, use olive oil or butter from grass-fed beef.
Saturated Fat is OKAY
Animal fats contain less than 20% omega-6 and are much less likely to cause inflammation than the supposedly healthy oils labeled polyunsaturated. Forget the “science” that has been drummed into your head for decades. The science that saturated fat alone causes heart disease is non-existent. The science that saturated fat raises blood cholesterol is also very weak. Since we now know that cholesterol is not the cause of heart disease, the concern about saturated fat is even more absurd today.
The cholesterol theory led to the no-fat, low-fat recommendations that in turn created the very foods now causing an epidemic of inflammation. Mainstream medicine made a terrible mistake when it advised people to avoid saturated fat in favor of foods high in omega-6 fats. We now have an epidemic of arterial inflammation leading to heart disease and other silent killers.
Your Foods Will either Kill You or Heal You…it’s Your Choice
What you can do is choose whole foods your grandmother served and not those your mom turned to as grocery store aisles filled with manufactured foods. By eliminating inflammatory foods and adding essential nutrients from fresh unprocessed food, you will reverse years of damage in your arteries and throughout your body from consuming the typical American diet.
Thank you Dr. Joe!
