Dear KKIM Family,
May you grow closer to God this day……..
My life is worth nothing unless I use it for doing the work assigned me by the Lord Jesus. Acts 20:24
May God give you the desires of your heart and make all your plans succeed. Psalm 20:4
Think about this: Faith is the willingness to look foolish to the world.

Today, Dr. Joe and Pastor Bill are with us! They both have excellent, Godly information for us!
This is one of my all-time favorite news stories and it happened right here in Albuquerque!!! I have been saying for years, Dogs have more common sense than many people! LOL LOL
KOB.com Eyewitness News 4
An Albuquerque man says he successfully registered his dog to vote in Bernalillo County in New Mexico.
A dog is man’s best friend — and now he can even accompany him to the voting booth.
An Albuquerque, N.M., resident has successfully registered his dog to vote in Bernalillo County, he told KOB-TV.
The dog’s owner said he used fake information to sign Buddy up at a voter registration booth at the University of New Mexico.
“I made up a birthdate and I made up a Social Security number, and I had a voter registration card in my hand for Buddy two weeks later,” he told the TV station after receiving the card in the mail on Wednesday.
The man, who doesn’t actually plan to vote using Buddy’s name, said he was only trying to prove that there are problems with the registration system.
“They should verify,” he told KOB-TV. “Somebody should have verified this information and somebody should have come out and took a look at exactly who it was.
“We’re going to have a lot of people that are registered to vote that shouldn’t be able to vote,” he added.
Bernalillo County Clerk’s Office told the station the office followed state law, which doesn’t require proof of a voter’s Social Security number, date of birth or name when registering.
According to Bernalillo County clerk Maggie Toulouse Oliver, Buddy’s owner committed voter fraud.
“I would warn those individuals who think this type of activity is a joke or a ‘gotcha’ that, regardless of their intentions, they have broken the law and will therefore have to be subject to due process of law,” she told KOB-TV.
Toulouse Oliver added that it was “disheartening that someone would attempt to present fraudulent information to test a system that the state legislature has intended to foster participation in the voting process.”
Gotta have photo ID now!!! I am going to get Buffy and Reno registered to vote!!! LOL LOL!!!! I heard Buddy was going to start his own Political Party!!!
Buddy is such a cute doggie who would turn down his vote!!!!
Last night on New Mexico News and Views I interviewed Dan Davis Director of Ministry/Aids Educator for “He Intends Victory” was my guest. I met Dan at the National Religious Broadcasters Convention.
Dan is a former Homosexual who was freed by Jesus Christ.
Dan accepted Christ at age 12.
He was sexually abused in his family.
He was raped when he moved in with some men after leaving home.
He then thought this life style was to be a homosexual. He was so hurt and afraid.
He battled this for years…..He thought a way out was to get married…..he got married…….
Then in 1994 he got very sick, with Aids…….nearly died.
Dan had continued up to this point to live a double life of being married, having three children and going out at night and meeting men.
The turning point was when he tested positive for Aids and his wife DID NOT! The children also were clean from Aids.
Dan was so thankful to God that his family was free of Aids.
Dan said that the seed that God planted in him at age 12 began to raise up in him at that point.
He thanked the Lord for sparing his wife and Children, despite his sins.
Dan and his wife in the power of Jesus Christ worked through this and Dan with the power given to him by our Lord broke the bondage of Homosexuality. He has been straight since 1994.
The verse that Dan hung onto at that point in his life and to this day is Jeremiah 29: 11-14
“For I know the plans I have for you,” Declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” You will call to Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart. I will be found by you”—-the Lord’s declaration—-“and I will restore your fortunes and gather you from all the nations and places where I banished you”—-the Lord’s declaration. “I will restore you to the place I deported you from.”
Dan said it’s not what you and I think, it is what God says! And that is a huge part of his message today to everyone he meets!
Whatever bondage people are in, whether it is sexual, drugs, alcohol, gambling, whatever it is…God can set you free! Dan is living proof of that and he is a living miracle!
That seed that God planted in Dan when he was 12 years old is now bearing fruit for God! PRAISE GOD!
If you would like a recoding of this interview just contact me, the testimony is very POWERFUL in our LORD!
Very POWERFUL message!!!
Pastor Paul Holt after hearing the interview stated, “That was a great testimony!”
I am here to tell you that God is still in the miracle making business, our faith must remain strong in our Lord! We must tell all nations about our God! AMEN!!!!!!!!!
Day 20 of our 40 day Journey……..
Psalm 22:18 Old Testament Prophecy
They make a game out of diving my clothes among themselves; they cast lots for the clothes on my back.
Fulfilled in Jesus John 19:24
Soldier (to other soldiers): Don’t tear it. Let’s cast lots, and the winner will take the whole thing.
In David’s time, as well as in Jesus, nakedness indicated poverty and servitude. God’s greatest king of Israel and His only Son both needed to experience the worst of humanity before they could unite Israel and save humanity, respectively.
Let us be in prayer……….Let us pray over what we just read.

March 2, 2012. Peace at any price is not what you want. The waters around you are all stirred up. Sometimes you seem to be flailing about in all directions at once. Things are not as they seem, leaving you in uncertainty. You strain to hear My voice but cannot separate it from all the noises around you. You are looking for peace of mind and peace of heart. What will you do? As you prayed this morning, seeking My voice, I like it that you rose long before dawn and found this special place. In that place and at this time of day, it seemed that the entire world was still and waiting for your prayers seeking Me and My revelation. My voice tells you, “You have found Me. Here’s today’s Medical Bag with Dr. Joe live from Texas!!!!!!!!!!
Cardiovascular disease (CVD) is the leading killer of women in America, accounting for over one-third of all deaths. That’s more than the combined death rates from breast, ovarian, and cervical cancers.
Studies on cardiac events in women reveal that many women may experience early symptoms of cardiac distress in the days, weeks, or even months leading up to a heart attack. Unfortunately, many of these signs may be dismissed, missed, or determined as nothing out of the ordinary – by both women and their doctors.
The most common early warning signs (in order) include:
Unusual fatigue – Fatigue is a common complaint and one that may indicate that you’re simply missing out on sleep, fighting a virus, overextending yourself, or experiencing a side effect to medication. But unusual or extreme fatigue may also be an early heart attack symptom or a warning sign of heart disease. In one study, more than 70% of the women surveyed experienced marked fatigue in the days or weeks prior to their heart attacks.
Sleep disturbances – Although it’s not unusual to feel tired due to a lack of sleep or a particularly demanding week or month, you should take special notice of any unusual or prolonged disturbance in your sleep patterns. A recent study revealed that about 48% of the women who had recently suffered a heart attack also experienced sleep disturbances in the days or weeks leading up to their attacks.
Shortness of breath during normal daily activities, indigestion, and anxiety may also be early heart attack signs or symptoms of cardiac distress in women. Research shows that about 42% of women who had recently suffered a heart attack also experience shortness of breath.
Indigestion, Anxiety, and Chest discomfort round out the early common symptoms that often occur before a heart attack in women.
Acute Symptoms in Women
Although chest pain is considered to be one of the classic signs of a heart attack in both women and men, the sudden, violent chest convulsions portrayed on TV or in movies may not be experienced by all women.
Fortunately, we now know of several more moderate signals a woman’s body sends to alert her that she is having a heart attack.
Severe chest pain may occur during a heart attack, but women also report pain or discomfort in other areas of the body before or during a heart attack. Pressure, tightness, aching, or burning in your upper back, neck, shoulders, and arms, or even in the jaw or throat can be signs of heart distress. Women have also described the discomfort as a sharpness, a fullness, or a tingling.
Shortness of breath, fatigue, stomach pain, cold sweats, dizziness, indigestion, or nausea also may occur during the acute phase of a heart attack.
Learning about the many different acute symptoms of heart attack can help ensure that you seek emergency care when you need it. Keep in mind that not all of these symptoms occur in every attack, and some symptoms may go away and then return.
Reduce Your Risk of Heart Attack
As a woman, after 40, your risk for coronary heart disease (CHD) starts to rise as your body stops producing estrogen naturally and your cholesterol levels increase. Although taking estrogen through hormone replacement therapy was initially thought to protect against CHD, clinical trials have found that it does not offer cardiac protection and may increase the risk of heart disease and ovarian and breast cancers.
So what can you do to protect your heart and reduce your risk of heart attack? A lot. Controlling your cholesterol, blood pressure, and weight can greatly reduce your risk of heart attack.
Start with these steps:
– Check your blood pressure regularly (daily if possible and at different times of the day). If it’s high, and you are prescribed medication, take it exactly as directed, even if you feel fine.
– Reduce stress levels at home and at work. Use a deep-breathing technique.
– Get 30 minutes of exercise every day, and keep your weight within healthy limits. Walking is a great exercise and stress reducer.
– Stop smoking, if you smoke. Avoid second hand smoke at all costs.
– Eat plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables, whole-grains, and low-fat dairy to get your daily dose of calcium, potassium, and magnesium. What you eat does matter. Foods that cause inflammation even with the heart: sugars, trans fats, soft drinks, vegetable oils, refined carbohydrates, and processed foods. Foods that fight inflammation of the heart: raw nuts, organic green tea, wild caught fatty fish, wild game, olive oil, organic fruits and vegetables. The majority of illnesses begin in the gut and affect the heart; feed it right and enjoy health. Feed it wrong and suffer the results. Keep in mind that the immune system (80% of it is in the small intestine of the gut) will be greatly compromised because of fear and anxiety coming out of a “broken heart”.
– Choose healthful unsaturated fats instead of saturated fats. Read all your food labels to make the wise choices.
– Limit your alcohol intake.
Don’t Ignore How You Feel
Research shows that women tend to ignore signs of illness or attribute their symptoms of cardiac distress to something else. If you are feeling unusual fatigue or pain and discomfort, don’t dismiss it. The fact that warning signs may occur as much as 1 month before an attack gives you valuable time to seek medical care that may save your life.
How do you know if your symptoms are serious?
Getting into the habit of noting your typical aches and pains and your normal reactions to foods and activities may help you recognize when something is truly amiss. Also, remember that if you have risk factors for heart disease, you should be especially vigilant about monitoring how you feel – particularly if any of your usual symptoms are often early heart attack signs. If you experience worrisome or unusual changes in your energy level, comfort, or sleep habits, you should discuss your concerns with your healthcare provider, especially if you have heart disease risk factors, such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol, obesity, diabetes, a smoking habit, or a sedentary lifestyle. All this to say, please don’t become obsessed with “symptoms”, rather focus on doing everything you can to honor the Temple of the Holy Spirit… your body to God’s glory.
The spiritual aspect of heart disease.
Take an inventory (examine yourself) of the following three things:
– Are you separated from God and His Word, His person, and His love?
– Are you separated from yourself? Are you not accepting yourself? Are you not loving yourself? Do you have any guilt or condemnation toward yourself?
– Are you separated from others by your choice? Are there problems in your relationships? Is there any bitterness, envy, hatred, jealousy, competition, performance, lack of nurturing, lack of love, or anything that could be a strong hold on you that is not healthy?
Proverbs 1: 30, “A sound heart is the life of the flesh…”
Proverbs 17: 22, “A merry heart doeth good like a medicine…”
Healthy accountability: We get healthier better when we get healthy together.
The Lord bless you! Have a wonderful and safe weekend!

Financial Advice You Need to Know:
As most of you probably know by now, my financial advice is not based on the latest “get rich quick scheme”. Those are just a sad reflection and manifestation of our present day, self-centered, microwave culture. We live in it, but we don’t have to participate in their insanity. The Bible puts it a bit more compassionately, “You are in the world, but not of this world”. Wealth and prosperity don’t come through luck or schemes, but are received due to work, study, application of knowledge and wisdom, and through patient perseverance. An old English proverb states “A fool and his money are soon parted”. My favorite Proverb from Scripture is Proverb 21:4, “Steady plodding brings prosperity, hasty speculation brings poverty”. The Lord has really settled me into this concept of work lately. Probably because that’s what He did with man in the beginning…gave Him a work assignment. God has certain criteria that are important to Him concerning work in order to avoid a curse and birth a blessing. He desires that we work diligently: “Whatever you do, do your work heartily, as for the Lord rather than for men…It is the Lord whom you serve”. (Colossians 3:23,24) That’s in stark contrast to “If anyone does not provide for his own…he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever”. (1 Timothy 5:8) God also has a high standard of integrity and wants our work to be a reflection of that spirit of excellence: “A righteous man who walks in his integrity…how blessed are his sons after him”. (Proverbs 20:7) He not only supplies for our every need, but provides an inheritance to our children. That truth versus; “Wealth obtained by fraud dwindles”. (Proverbs 13:11)Ill gained wealth is usually squandered and if you never learned how to achieve it through honest work, you most certainly won’t know how to maintain it. What’s the bottom line here? Financially, we blossom over time, through diligent, steady, patient application of knowledge and wisdom to every endeavor and opportunity God brings our way. When our hearts are right, God blesses the labor we perform and over time brings forth a harvest of abundant resources.
