Sent by Mario E. Carbajal of behalf of Ashton's family

Prayer Warriors Needed Urgently!!!!

Hello everyone, please Help!!! We need your Prayers and everyone else's that you can think to send this email to!

A few days ago, one of our church members' 5 year old son, little Ashton Young, was critically injured when he was accidentally run over by a bulldozer. He is in the hospital in
Shreveport, LA and has already undergone 3 major operations, one to repair his little backside(his bottom) which was literally torn off by the dozer, one to repair and put
a plate in his pelvic area, which was crushed, and one to repair a hole that had been torn in his intesti nes. And now tonight, he is going to have to have about half of his liver removed.

The doctors are amazed that this tough little guy has survived thus far.
One of them made such a remark to Ashton's mother, Danielle. He said that most other children couldn't have survived such trauma, he said you must have alot of prayers being lifted up for him. She said you are
right, we do. But we need more!!!!! So Please, Pray,Pray,Pray!!!! We
know God answers prayers daily sometimes, moment by moment.

The family is staying at a place that is kind of like a Ronald McDonald
house so they can stay close to the hospital when they leave to rest.

The hospital has asked for blood to be donated in Ashton Young's name.
There is a Huge shortage and they had to drive to
Arkansas to get 3
pints of blood for him the other night. Also, our Pastor opened an
account for them today at Community Trust Bank, the account is listed as
"Robert Spic e r and Ashton Young account". The family will be given a
debit card to use when they need things. And of course, for medical
bills.

Little Ashton is in a drug induced comma, so thank God he is not in
pain. The doctors say they will keep him in this state for a month, then
if all goes well, he will be in the hospital for another month.
Hopefully he will be able to walk again as there was no spinal injuries,
which is a miracle in itself!

Please add this to your prayer lists........

Also this update from Cindy.............

GOOD MORNING KKIM/DDC FAMILY!!!

May The Peace Of The Lord Be With You and Yours!

I want to take this time to say to all of you, We love you all! I am thankful for all of you and the support and encouragement you are to this Ministry! The love of God is with us all........Thank you for being part of this family. God has blessed this Ministry so much!!! We are here to serve. I want to also thank Gilbert and Andy of Gilbert Larson and Friends for helping us with recording scripture of what "Jesus said" These recording's play throughout the day on KKIM. One of the missions the Lord has given us is to share scripture with all, to encourage us all to go to our Bibles.

Here is your chance to win a pair of tickets to the movie, "The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian" This movie is a worthy sequel to the popular first movie in the series based on C.S. Lewis books. I HAVE A COUPLE PAIR OF TICKETS TO THE MOVIE I WANT TO GIVEAWAY RIGHT NOW TO THE FIRST TWO PEOPLE THAT EMAIL ME BACK!!!  The tickets are for theaters in Albuquerque and Santa Fe! radiodewey@aol.com

This afternoon on New Mexico News and Views we are so pleased to have IRN/USA Radio Network White House Correspondent Connie Lawn. I have to tell you folks, that if you are not catching New Mexico News and Views you are missing out on AWESOME information.  Just remember you can catch us on line at www.mykkim.com That's right we have a new web address mykkim.com!!!!  Yesterday we had a very special time with son Lars. His graduation ceremony took place. It was wonderful!! We had many from the school come up to us and tell us what an AWESOME son we have in Lars! PRAISE GOD FOR WHAT HE HAS DONE AND WHAT HE IS DOING IN LAR'S LIFE!!!! I have to tell you that myself and some very special friends went to Lars school the last 2 years and prayed and walked the grounds of the school for God to send Angels to protect Lars and the other students, and peace and learning came to that school!!!!! HOW AWESOME IS THAT!!! I would encourage all parents to do the same!!!

Prayer need: This is so heart breaking......Albuquerque Highland High School senior Angel Najar went home Monday from school and shot himself to death after learning he was not going to graduate. Angel came home crying Monday and locked himself in his room and would not come out. His parents then went to the school to find out what had happened, when they got home Angel had shot himself. Please keep this family in your prayers. This tragic story is another example of the pressure our children are under and sometimes they hold so much in.

Prayer need: Please keep KKIM's Grant Kuck and friends in prayer as they are in Mexico on a mission trip.

Now I want to share a special writing from Karen Rowe. By the way Karen will be on Sandy Harrington's program this coming Thursday at 3:30. God brought Karen to us........She is a true women of God. She has a special God given talent of relating God's word to us. We are thankful to Our Lord for having Karen with us!!!

Dewey,

Humbly I share this with you;  Now and for a reason.  I feel so blessed by God.  It is out of extreme appreciation to God and love to those who are going through a time that is painful and uncertain.  This is a part of me and I share this as a gift of love for all those in a hurting world.

For every problem, there is a beginning and end, but for all eternity we, who love Jesus will live with HIM forever in everlasting joy, peace and happiness.

I share this now too out of appreciation for Dewey's cup; for Dewey, Michelle, Sandy...for this incredible opportunity to reach so many people with the love of God.  I am extremely humbled when I see what God has done and knowing that God is moving in this world with precision.

HE loves us!  And I say thank you to God 1st.  This is has been private to me for a year or so; it is part of a book that God and I named "The Train Whistle" but today, I feel led by the LORD to share it.  I pray that someone will be blessed by reading.  This was a gift to me from God and now I pray that it will be received as a gift from God to you and may we all be able to lift our hearts up to the LORD and sense HIS presence.

                     How Great Thou Art

God…How Great Thou Art!  Dear Father God,

In the name of Jesus, I ask for your wisdom to guide me

Through this book.  Please help me to write and organize

Your words to bring Glory to your name.

If it is for me, I thank you because I have learned,

If it is for my kids, it is amazing,

If it is for family and friends, it can be wonderful,

If it is for the world if will be powerful,

Done in your name and through the work of the Holy Spirit,

I trust you to lead me in your direction.

Thank you Father and I receive you Holy Spirit and open my mind to do your work, not mine, for your glory, not mine.

                                                                Amen.

Intro:  Sense the Presence of God

It was a long mellow sound that rumbled through the distance with a calm reassurance of peace.  A soothing sound of childhood that rings through generations that seems to never end.  Some wait to hear it with expectations and patience and for those who wait, that long train whistle calls out in perfect rhythm.  The simplest of sounds with the mightiest of power is just a reminder of a sound from the past.   That old train whistle serves a purpose to protect; it serves a purpose to warn of danger, and at a distance, for some, it is the call of simpler times that gives pleasure to hear the distant rumbling of the mighty train and the low blow of that sweet whistle and occasional ding, ding, ding.

Seeking God is quiet and still from a distance it seems, often with no words spoken, but a calm reassuring peace that fills us up inside.  Though unseen, God is ever present and unlike the train whistle, is always close by.   In the world the train may be the same today and yesterday, but God is the same today, yesterday and tomorrow.  His promises are real and full of renewal.  In the world, the past may carry a dim torch, but God is so much more than what is in this world.

How we hear the train whistle and sometimes how we perceive God can stem from a childhood experience and directly relate to how we feel now from remembering another time.  We carry our child hood experiences and feelings with us into being an adult.  They can help or hinder us in all that we do.

We can’t change the memories of the past, but we can spend today as an innocent child of God, regardless of our past.

The joy of God is found in the quiet moments with Him.  When we wait with expectations and patience we can hear HIM in our heart. We can sense His very presence.

The presence of God that we sense may come and go, but God watches us with a close eye.  He teaches us with mercy, forgiveness, understanding, patience and a teaching hand.

Praise Him with persistence and Praise Him with a real gratitude that is weighted with strength and meaning and His presence fills the very air that we breathe. His peace sweeps over us like a dense haze of love and joy. Though unseen, there is no doubt!

The love of God radiates in the very air that we breathe. His Spirit flows in and through our Spirit with such a sweeping and full love, that His presence swells up inside with such a full overflow that there can be no beginning and no end to the love that you feel over come you.  His love completes your very Spirit with a pure, perfect and powerful grace that He leaves no definition between the air in the room and the air in your body.  His love radiates with no physical restrictions because God’s love is powerful and unlimited.  God is love!

Love in Christ,

Karen Rowe

The Lord Is Thy Keeper

I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.
My help [cometh] from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.
He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.
Behold, he that keepeth
Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.
The Lord [is] thy keeper: the Lord [is] thy shade upon thy right hand.
The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.
The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul.
The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth,
and even for evermore.

- Psalms 121: 1-8

He also said, 'This is what the kingdom of God is like. A man scatters seed on the ground. Night and day, whether he sleeps or gets up, the seed sprouts and grows, though he does not know how. All by itself the soil produces grain--first the stalk, then the head, then the full kernel in the head. As soon as the grain is ripe, he puts the sickle to it, because the harvest has come.' Again he said, 'What shall we say the kingdom of God is like, or what parable shall we use to describe it? It is like a mustard seed, which is the smallest seed you plant in the ground. Yet when planted, it grows and becomes the largest of all garden plants, with such big branches that the birds of the air can perch in its shade.'

Prayer Needs............

Hi Dewey,

Great testimony and I'm so very glad you're home safe.  It's wonderful that Roger was able to recognize the power of prayer even during his confusion ~ Praise God!

As is my habit, I come to you with a prayer request; My husband Paul was diagnosed with Diabetes yesterday.  During his physical it was also discovered that he had a Cholesterol level approaching 400 (anything over 190 is considered dangerously high) and Triglycerides over 1400 (the normal range is 150 or less).  If we do not make immediate, radical changes in our lifestyle, he is at certain risk of death.  We started our "new life" (low fat, low carb food/an hour of cardio daily) last night and will continue to do so ~ we simply have no choice.  I ask for your prayers in that we are able to get this situation under control (our goal is to have him free of meds, simply controlling this via diet and exercise) and that the Lord gives Paul and I the strength to not be disheartened.  Paul is an excellent cook and has a true passion for food ~ unfortunately he also has bad genetics in terms of heart disease and diabetes on both sides of his family.  We, as a family, need to change our entire outlook towards eating ~ being cognizant of the fact that food is, first and foremost, a means of "fuel" for our bodies and not the social event that we've made it into.  I know that we face some challenges ahead, but the inspiration lie in the beautiful little girl we've been blessed with ~ not only does she deserve to be guided into adulthood by the parents who adore her, we owe it to her to set the right examples and help her develop good habits early on.

We truly appreciate the prayers of your readers/listeners ~ with the Lord's hand on this situation, we will overcome.

God Bless You,

Taunya

Please keep Taunya and Paul in your prayers........One thing that really helped me was getting on the treadmill, it changed my life! e love you Taunya and Paul and will be praying for you!
