Hi Dewey!
Looks like I can take an extended lunch and help out tomorrow, 4/4/12. I got
laid off today. Okay to come in around noon?
I know that God has a plan for me, and I’m so excited to see what the future
holds!
God bless you and keep you!
Cesslie
Please keep Cesslie in your prayers!
Let us not forget the millions and millions of Americans that are unemployed at this time.
Let us pray over the Dallas/Fort Worth area as it was struck by tornadoes yesterday. I tried calling Kyle Martin and his wife yesterday of Time To Revive Ministries, 5:30am and 4pm on KKIM, who live in Dallas, I could not get a hold of them, but Mark Doering who also lives in the Dallas area says all are safe and sound. Mark is board chairman of Time To Revive.
Let us pray over the land.
Last night at 7pm the phone rang……it was little Dom. Remember Dom? He survived the most severe asthma attack awhile back. He was induced into a coma to recover. He had to learn many things again, to walk, to speak, to ride is bike.PRAISE GOD he has made a full recovery!!! Dom called last night to thank me for coming to see him in the hospital to pray for him. Can you imagine? someone calling you thanking you for praying?…..I get that a lot, but this little boy really touched my heart…….he has made the honor roll at school! It is always a blessing to pray over people and anoint them with oil and be with the family and pray together and talk. We need more of that! I love meeting people and praying and reading scripture and getting to know them and just talking about our families and life. Sharing the love of Jesus Christ!!!!
I am seeing miracles! Little Dom is a miracle! As I go out and travel for Jesus Christ I see miracles, people healed!!! People don’t have to thank me for praying it is an AWESOME blessing to pray for you folks! I love to come and visit, to go out for my JESUS!
As my Dear, Dear friend Ryan Freeman taught me, go and meet people where they are at. That is some of the best advice I have ever received! We must go out and meet people. Cathy sent us a write up on going out………we will get to that in just a moment.
Before I leave little Dom and what Ryan said, The Lord has really put this on my heart….Believe HIS WORD, believe HIS promises, Believe in healing…..you also must RECEIVE HIS Word, HIS promises and healing! AMEN!
He is God—–Lord, GOD, God of Israel, master, supreme God, ruler, and judge. A Kingdom man, therefore, is one who places himself to the lordship of Jesus Christ. A Kingdom man is a man who rules according to God’s rule.
Just as a referee in an NFL game is able to rule only according to the rule book, a kingdom man is released to rule when he makes decisions and orders his world according to God’s rule.
WOW!!! Read this my friends, this is where the rubber hit’s the road…….When a kingdom man functions according to the principles and precepts of the kingdom, there will be order, authority, and provision. Yet when he doesn’t, he opens himself up, and those connected to him, to a life of chaos!
AMEN to that, the words of Tony Evans in his book, Kingdom Man are so true!
Men also be consistent……in all things! In all things! For Jesus Christ alone!
From Max Lucado……….
Just For You
“He himself bore our sins” in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; “by his wounds you have been healed. I Peter 2:24”
What is the fruit of sin? Step into the brier patch of humanity and feel a few thistles. Shame. Fear. Disgrace. Discouragement. Anxiety. Haven’t our hearts been caught in these brambles?
The heart of Jesus, however, had not. He had never been cut by the thorns of sin. What you and I face daily—he never knew. He never worried. He was never guilty. He never knew the fruits of sin until he became sin for us. And when he did—all the emotions of sin tumbled in on him like shadows in a forest. He felt anxious, guilty, and alone. Can’t you hear the emotion in his prayer?
“My God, my God, why have you abandoned me?” This prayer is one of the most remarkable parts of his coming. But there’s something even greater!
He did it for you. Just for you!
Let us go and Meet people where they are at………this is so timely from Cathy!
I read this and you came to mind as such a faithful servant. Please take and use this as a thank you and an encouragement to keep on. Enjoy your day!
Warmly,
Cathy
Scripture: Revelation 6:9
“When He opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God and for the testimony which they held” NKJV
The story is told of a man named Jerry. Jerry was a good “Christian man”. Lived by the Ten Commandments and went to church every week. He was faithful in his giving. Jerry ushered at church and was friendly to everyone.
Jerry was very busy raising a family, earning a living and enjoying his life. He didn’t tell many about Jesus because he felt that was the “preachers job.” Jerry hardly ever read God’s Word because the preacher spoke about it every Sunday. He didn’t worry about the needy around him because that is what the government does. He did pray — he knew the “Lord’s Prayer” well.
Jerry was driving to work one day when he had an accident and died.
Moments later Jerry found himself standing at the gates of heaven. An angel approached him and introduced him to a man who would show him heaven. They started walking together and the man introduced himself as Sipho.
Sipho began to talk as they walked. He told Jerry of the times he had his neighbors over to his house for dinner — shared Jesus with them — and he lost count after ten families were saved.
Sipho continued to speak about how he would tell people at work about the wonderful things Jesus had done for him. How Jesus loved him and helped him live a righteous life — and many more were added to the roles of the Kingdom.
He told Jerry about helping needy people with clothing, food and how more people found Jesus.
Jerry listened intently and said, “you must have studied the Bible a lot or gone to a fancy Bible school. Perhaps even graduated from a Christian College. Then Jerry said he figured it out — “God called you to minister to others.”
Sipho stopped walking — turned and looked at Jerry and said, “No, we were very poor, we could never afford a Bible school or college. There were no churches where I lived and I had only the book of John from the Bible that some missionaries left in our village years before. When I found the book the chief admonished me and said, “If you are ever caught speaking about Jesus it will be your last words.”
Sipho started walking again and said, “Enough of me and my struggles. I want to hear about all the wonderful things you did for Jesus in your land of plenty and freedom.”
Thank you Cathy, God Bless you!

April 4, 2012. Storms blow in. Some only bring needed rain. Others bring much damage. But today, there are two tornados on the ground in the city where I live. My wife is at home and I am about an hour’s drive away. What to do? I have learned from Jesus that we have power over the storms of life and nature. He allows me to command the rain, wind and storms to protect those I love. He has never failed to respond. My son now rebukes hail and damaging winds. Sometimes we do it together. Today, I believe a tornado was averted from my home and my wife and others I love were protected. How could I not give glory and thanksgiving to God for such grace? Jesus is the Lord of the storms and He dwells within those who believe and follow Him. Let the storm blow. Our God is more powerful.
Matthew 8:24-26 (NASB) “And behold, there arose a great storm on the sea, so that the boat was being covered with the waves; but Jesus Himself was asleep. And they came to Him and woke Him, saying, “Save us, Lord; we are perishing!” He *said to them, “Why are you afraid, you men of little faith?” Then He got up and rebuked the winds and the sea, and it became perfectly calm.” Ras Robinson

April 4, 2012. Keep an open mind to what you are being told about a change. Right now you can’t see the confusion, but nevertheless it is there. Look at this situation anew. Look at this from the stance of someone else, and you will see what is being said. You need to see the commotion this will cause, but it can be fixed. This is the reason I tell you to keep an open mind, and you can learn from this situation. Right now the whole thing is confusing. Don’t make a big deal out of what needs to be changed. But subtleties can be made that will make this situation much clearer.
Psalms 107:35 (NASB) “He changes a wilderness into a pool of water And a dry land into springs of water;” Bev Robinson

April 4, 2012. Your pursuits toward things in the natural are a bit foolish. Though your desire for things apart from Me are common among all people. Are you as willing to spend as much time pursuing Me and the matters of My Kingdom as you spend in chasing earthly belongings? Spiritual things (not religious things) are far greater than the worldly hunt for the satisfaction of your soul. Establish diligence toward eternal issues more than your pursuit of short lived gratifications. Be as diligent in your love of Me, as you are in your quest for material things. I give rewards for your diligence in following Me. These blessed rewards will surely come.
Hebrews 6:10-12 (NASB) “For God is not unjust so as to forget your work and the love which you have shown toward His name, in having ministered and in still ministering to the saints. And we desire that each one of you show the same diligence so as to realize the full assurance of hope until the end, so that you will not be sluggish, but imitators of those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.” Kevin Robinson
Here is today’s Medical bag with Dr. Joe!
A Daily Dash of this Keeps Diseases and Wrinkles Away
Don’t you just love the smell of cinnamon! Its wonderful aroma never fails to bring back great memories of home and delicious desserts. Our brains automatically associate cinnamon with cakes, cookies, pastries and pies…and holidays.
But did you know that cinnamon is also a powerful medicinal agent? Yep. Cinnamon isn’t just a tasty baking spice, it also provides an impressive list of healing properties too.
Just a Little Bit to Smooth Out Crow’s Feet and Laugh Lines
According to a recent report published in Journal of Medicinal Food, cinnamon is packed with antioxidants and other compounds that provide protection against the untimely formation of advanced glycation end-products.
Advanced glycation end-products, or “AGEs” are one of the main culprits behind tissue damage and inflammation. AGEs result in the development of visible lines on your face, the development of inflexible arteries, and a host of other serious metabolic consequences.
How can you maximize the age-defying effects of cinnamon?
Buy the highest quality organic cinnamon, store it properly and use it quickly. The potent AGE-fighting constituents of cinnamon – called phenols – can be destroyed by exposure to air, heat and light. So make sure to store your cinnamon in a cool, dark place and replace every six months to fully enjoy its powerful benefits.
But don’t expect to get the same benefits from cinnamon buns and spice cookies… at least not if you’re using sugar. In fact, sugar will negate the anti-aging benefits of cinnamon by creating an onslaught of free radicals and inflammation.
When using cinnamon in baking, be sure to opt for safe, low glycemic sweeteners including stevia and erythritol. Not only will you promote healthy blood sugar levels and keep your weight on track, but you’ll maximize cinnamon’s power too.
And speaking of blood sugar…
Keep Your Blood Sugar Levels Stable with Cinnamon
Diabetes is the most widespread chronic disease afflicting Americans today. But did you know that just a little cinnamon can go a long way to stabilize your blood sugar levels and prevent diabetes?
According to Dr. Richard Anderson, PhD, who has studied the great benefits and positive effects of cinnamon for the past twenty years, this particular spice effectively imitates insulin in the body. What’s more important, it has also been found to enhance insulin’s effects.
In a recent study conducted on 60 individuals diagnosed with type-2 diabetes, researchers found that patients who were given as little as one gram of cinnamon daily (about half a teaspoon) experienced:
– 18% to 29% decrease in their blood sugar levels
– 7% to 27% decrease in LDL cholesterol
– 23% to 30% drop in triglycerides
– 12% to 26% reduction in total cholesterol levels
Along with fighting the physical signs of aging, you now have even more important reasons to spice up your foods with cinnamon. So make a habit of sprinkling this potent spice into your coffee or tea, and mix into sweet potatoes or winter squash to promote better blood sugar balance and a healthier heart.
Prevents Blood Clots and Reduces Inflammation
Cinnamon is known to contain three specific components – cinnamyl acetate, cinnamyl alcohol and cinnamaldehyde – which have been found to facilitate healing in a myriad of ways.
Cinnamaldehyde, in particular, has been researched extensively for its effects on platelets- the constituents of blood which are responsible for the formation of clots during injuries.
While some clotting is absolutely necessary for wound healing, too much clotting can cause poor circulation and other cardiovascular problems to occur. Cinnamon helps to thin the blood and prevent excessive clotting by inhibiting the release on an inflammatory factor called thromboxane A2 – putting this spice in an elite league of “anti-inflammatory” foods.
Prevents Infection
Aside from preventing blood clots and inflammation, cinnamon also contains essential oils that can inhibit the growth of bacteria and fungi.
Among a long list of things inhibited by cinnamon, is the notorious yeast, Candida, which can cause a host of health problems from digestive distress to sinus infections. In fact, cinnamon is so powerful against Candida that lab tests found it works on strains that have grown resistant to common anti-fungal medications.
And cinnamon can keep the “bugs” at bay in your food too.
A recent study published the International Journal of Food Microbiology found that just a few drops of cinnamon oil added to approximately three ounces of carrot broth inhibited the growth of the food borne pathogen Bacillus cereus for at least 60 days. So, mix cinnamon into broths, soups, chili’s and stews to boost flavor and extend freshness while promoting healthy gut flora.
Forget the Medicine Cabinet, Create a Healing Pantry
A well-stocked pantry of healing foods, herbs and spices is what it takes to keep a healthy body and a happy tummy. So always reach for natural cures like cinnamon to add more flavor to your foods and more years to your life.
