Dear KKIM/KARS Family,
May the Peace of our LORD be with us all today…..May we be about our Father’s Business today and all days………
Here is a Shout Out to Fmr. Congressman and Pastor Bill Redmond.WE LOVE YOU BILL!!! Thanks for the great letter you sent KKIM/KARS! We hope to hear you on the radio soon!!!!
In his book, Beyond Belief, Texas Rangers Baseball Star Josh Hamilton talked about the verse that helped turn his life around……..
Humble yourself before God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.
For years he battled drugs and alcohol……..and the battle continues, but he has the LORD with him.
Let us all Humble ourselves before God today………picture it in your mind….Humble yourself before God………
I was so excited to see Hamilton get the AL Playoff MVP Award! He gave all Glory to God in his acceptance speech!!!! WOW AMEN!
He will be at center stage in the upcoming World Series.
All in Ministry.or for that matter…everyone should read his book as it really helps you understand the world of addiction!
Those of you who listen to me and have read the CUP on a regular basis know that I am a History buff! Sharon got me two new books for me in my study of the Cuban Missile crises during JFK’s Administration. Thirteen Days by Robert Kennedy and High Noon in the Cold War Kennedy, Khrushchev and the Cuban Missile Crises.
Our Country is so lacking in Foreign relations and knowledge of such matters………we have know one in the current Administration capable of handling such a situation as the Cuban Missile crises, for that matter you would have to go back to the Reagan Administration to find any capability in Foreign affairs. The rest if it, mostly, has just been a bunch of NOTHING NOISE!
The sign of Great leaders is not what they accomplish on their own, but what they accomplish through others. John Maxwell
I will add this……….One of the great pleasures I have in my life right now is 22 year old Ryan Freeman KKIM/KARS Ministry rep……..I will be 55 in July…..(WOW! I Can’t Believe it! I feel like I’m 19!!!)anyhow , My Experience is so wonderful…..knowing that many things that I have been through in my 35 years in radio still hold true but I work with a younger set of eye’s now and Ryan has a different perspective…….it is a wonderful ingredient for success, old or if you prefer, the veteran, and young mind and eye’s ..we go forward in respecting the old ways………and move them into the future. The main thing is that we have God with us to guide us………Sharon and the kids have also been a big part of this life lesson for me. I pray that you can learn from this and apply it in your life and Ministry work!

Prayers needed and appreciated.
Continuing to pray for you Sharon & 2000 new supporters for ministry partners at KKIM/KARS.

Let us go into prayer…………
Pastor Jim Montoya has a prayer need………
My sister Nancy request prayer for neighbor Barbara Wholart who just
had open heart surgery at UNM.
Also husband Bill who is very concerned and worried. He reports she
is not doing well.
Couple very close to Jonathan, my nephew.
We are really thankful for Michelle and keeping us posted on Scott…….
Hi Dewey,
I am wanting to inform you that Scott is at Presbyterian Hospital at seventh floor room 725. He is in need of prayer, support and visitation for strengthening. We visited Scott since his arrival this past weekend. Scott has looked stronger, strong enough to try to remove the breathing trache on his neck. He was crying tonight and is frustrated. I prayed and read from the Daily Bread, He really liked this. He was extremely engaged as I read and he received encouragement as he cried in brokenness at his situation. I am wanting to inform you and others that if this touches you and you feel up to it – please pray for Scott and he is okay with visits he wants to have communication. His vision is not good so he cannot see television. He is trying to tear out the trache and get out of bed. He is feeling helpless and needs encouragement. Scotts wife Marcie mentioned he Loves to read or watch Joyce Meyers she is his favorite. I just pray he will remain strong and that God will continue to work in his life and provide the healing he needs. Providing knowledge to the doctors to help him recover. Marcie mentioned Scott will receive a second treatment of Chemo on Sunday. Please continue to pray for Scott and Marcie and Steven. Marcie sends so much thankfulness and greatfullness to everyone who is praying or thinking of Scott. Here is a video of him tonight. Thank God for your Ministry and Beautiful God Loving Heart Dewey. We appreciate you. God Bless you Dewey and your family.
Love and Blessings- Michelle

Here is a note from Nicole……….
Dewey,
This was the first I was able to read this. Thank you for including me. I think people should celebrate the fact that here we all are talking and listening to you and that we should do whatever we can to make it bigger and better for everyone.
One word on the miners in Chile. I was overcome with joy to see the wonderful togetherness of a country. I highly respect the fact that they are so dedicated to each other and their faith that was so refreshing. I thought why is it when our miners get trapped they NEVER come out alive. Whats wrong with this country? Maybe I'm looking at it the wrong way but I just was so overcome by that rescue.
There are my words for the day.
God Bless you all and my love to all of you as well
Nicole
Thank you Nicole.
Let us pray………….
Lord, YOU already know our needs…our prayer requests……YOU are GOD ALMIGHTY, the ONLY GOD……..WOW! LORD thank YOU for YOUR WORD…..in the name of JESUS, AMEN!
In the Love of Christ, Dewey Sharon and Family
