Let us grab our Bibles and coffee and turn to Psalm 1 verses 1-3
How happy is the man who des not follow the advice of the wicked, or take the path of sinners, or join a group of mockers!
Instead, his delight is in the LORD’S instruction, and he mediates on it day and night.
He is like a tree planted beside streams of water that bears its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither.
Whatever he does prospers.
So much peace in those words……From God’s Word. Please read them again……pray over them.
Here at the Radio Ranch Frank Haley always ends his newscasts by saying, “For God’s Glory Alone!”
1 Cor 10:31
“….Whatever you do, do all to the glory of God”
So today ask yourself……..is what I am doing today, for the Glory of God?
Here is an update from John Robb………please read and pray……..
Dear Friends,
You must be praying for Mexico along with our Mexican brothers and sisters in Christ and God is answering! Another breakthrough has just happened with the arrest of the leader of the Aztecas, a street gang in Juarez, the city along the US-Mexican border now reputed to be the most violent city on earth. According to the Los Angeles Times, Arturo Gallegos Castrellon was arrested in Juarez on Saturday along with two others involved in drug smuggling. He has confessed to many fatal slayings, admitting that he is responsible for 80% of the killings since August 2009! Since early 2008, more than 6500 people have died there in drug-related violence. The Aztecas are allied with the Juarez drug trafficking cartel that claims to have members on both sides of the border. Praise God and please keep praying for full deliverance from all the seven drug cartels in Mexico. Let’s ask the Lord to shut them all down and pray that the government, military and police will have His wisdom to prevail in this high-stakes war for the nation!
In addition, we have a prayer request from Chiapas, Mexico where there has been much persecution of the Evangelicals . A symposium on religious intolerance is being organized by them on Dec. 4 and they are asking the local government to apply the law in favor of those being persecuted. Let’s pray with these brothers and sisters in Christ for vindication and protection by the authorities.
A very urgent concern comes from the Korean peninsula where North and South Korea are possibly on the brink of war after the missile firing by the North that left 4 South Koreans dead and narrowly missed a children’s school. The North Koreans are threatening more attacks as South Korea and the U.S. Navy conduct joint military exercises. It is a dangerous time for these two nations. Besides Mexico, we are especially focusing on North Korea this year in cooperation with our Korean intercessor friends. Please pray for a calming of the present tensions and for reform or “regime change” in North Korea, probably the most evil and oppressive government in the world. It is the number one persecutor of Christians and has allowed millions of its own people to starve while Kim Jong-Il and his cohorts live criminally indulgent and luxurious lifestyles. Pray for liberation of the North and reunification with the South under a just and caring government that will bring healing and prosperity to both parts of the peninsula. The Lord can and will make it happen as we connect with His heart on this issue!
Finally, a prayer concern from another part of NE Asia- a Chinese friend from Hong Kong has requested that we pray for the relationship between China and Japan. Because of many historical wounds that have not been reconciled yet, there is much ill feeling, even hatred, between these two important nations. Please pray for healing of their bitterness and suspicion of each other; that they will come together, laying down their differences over historical and territorial disputes, to cooperate and work for peace and prosperity in the region and our world.
Warm thanks and greetings in Christ,
John

“We do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered” Romans 8:26
I am praying now about my next message…….Please read all of Romans 8. The mystery of the Holy Spirit, is a mystery to many…..because they don’t understand or have not been taught about our wonderful, wonderful friend, the Holy Spirit! My prayer today is that the Holy Spirit fills up your Soul!
Please pray for me as I prepare a special Christmas message for the Windom newspaper. I love my hometown, I have so many wonderful memories, and people back home the raised me up, mentors, that I never want to let down. That is one of the many beauty’s of a hometown, you have people that you grow up with that you have great respect for and you carry them with you your whole life and you do not want to let them down! Coach Ron Meyer, Jack Kelly, My Teachers like Ms Rasche, etc….Sunday School Teachers, Irene Hartberg, Orville Fredrickson…..some are home with the LORD now, but I have wonderful memories of them. That is one of the main reason I do what I do, to give back for what I was given years ago……Great mentor’s of how to live a Godly life.
Let us pray…………..
LORD, Thank you for this day to serve YOU and YOUR people. Let us look around and pray for what YOU would have us do today. In the name of JESUS, AMEN!
