Dear KKIM/KARS Family,
What a blessing this morning as I was putting up a message on Facebook!
I got a message from Jim Hofflander a classmate from 1974 Windom, Minn High School!
The Lord put us back together today after 37 years!!!
We must use this new technology to reach others for Christ!
I now know that with the Lord leading my life he put’s me in spots that HE wants me to be. I do not move without HIM or move forward without HIM! (at least 98% of the time, I still can do some stupid things now and then! LOL!)
So Jim and I were able to minister together, he lives in Mankato, Minn. He said the he used to do a radio program on mental illness, and he would think of me as he did it as he knew I was in radio and he was proud of my work!
Do you know what encouragement that is to me?
Kind words are like honey—sweet to the soul and healthy for the body Proverbs 16:24
I love my hometown and I love Jim Hofflander. We reached out to each other today a reunion in the Lord.
My hometown gave me roots………roots years later that keep coming back to me! Solid roots!
I last saw Jim 1974…..what is amazing, please keep this in mind as you go about your days…..many people that I get reconnected with through the years, say what Jim said, I have been praying for you! It is so exciting that we have people praying for us……..we don’t know all that are!!!!! That is why KKIM/KARS and the CUP are here…..you have people praying for you, that you never have met! God’s Kingdom is so AWESOME isn’t it!!!! Or you have old classmates like Jim that have been praying for you and you don’t know it!
Jim, I am so thankful that we have reconnected it has made this day of the LORD so AWESOME! I love you so much in our LORD!
Jim needs our prayers as he suffers from depression. Let is pray over Jim as we read James 5:13
Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. is anyone among you cheerful? Let him sing psalms.
Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord.
And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.
Confess your trespasses to one another, that you may be healed. The effective prayer of a righteous man avails much.
Please also keep tan Tian in your prayers as he suffers from depression also. Tan lives in Malaysia.
Many are fighting depression, we must be in constant prayer as Paul has told us……constant prayer.
In the Love of Christ, Dewey
