Dear KKIM/KARS family,
May the Peace, Wisdom and Strength of our Lord be with you and yours!
Something to think about..chew on and pray about……..How much time today will you spend with God?
When you are making decisions each day, how much does God play a part in your decision making process?
Do you pray before making decisions?
Do you feel the presence of God each minute of your day? If not why?
Do you have a Bible with you at your work place so that you can refer to it during the day?
Email me if you want to talk about it……..I would like to hear from you today…….
If God is not at the center of it, it will fail!
When good men do nothing, evil prevails!
Isaiah 5:20 Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil;……
Isaiah 48:22 57:21
“There is no peace,” says the Lord, “for the wicked.”
Isaiah 48:22 57:21
“There is no peace,” says the Lord, “for the wicked.”

People have loved the sharing of Richard J. Fosters book, Celebration of Discipline. I just wanted to share this with you this morning………
Your own children can and should be changed through your prayers. Pray for them in the daytime with their participation; pray for them at night when they are asleep. One delightful approach is to go into the bedroom and lightly place your hands on your sleeping child. Ask Christ to flow through your hands healing every emotional trauma and hurt feeling your child experienced that day. Fill him or her with the peace and joy of the Lord.
Folks, I have to tell you that I still do that when the kids are sleeping over and I also do it to Sharon when she is sleeping. I also love to hug everyone! Before I preach, I normally ask people to get up and give all those around them a Jesus Hug! Some people do not get a hug during the week! I know Cowboy Clarence love hugs! I know there are those reading this right now who would love to have a HUG!
Take a minute to think of the people around you, like widow’s who may never get a hug during the week…….the touch of another arm on their arm……the touch of Christ…….I have to tell you, I love the HUGS of widow’s they HUG MIGHTY!!!!
You also will find that when you let go and give a JESUS HUG it will give you Godly energy and peace!
Did you know that God is the only ONE who can give energy and peace at the same time? TRY IT YOU’LL LIKE IT!
Foster continues to say…..as a priest of Christ,(we are all to be priests of Christ) you can perform a wonderful service by taking children into your arms and blessing them. (I got to hold a baby yesterday!, one of the main reasons I do what I do is for our Children and their Children, future generations!)
In the Bible parents brought their children to Jesus not so he would play with them or even teach them, but so he would lay his hands on them and bless them (Mark 10: 13-16). he has given you and I the ability to do the same. Blessed is the child who is blessed by adults who know how to bless!
Please turn your Bibles to Mark 10: 13-16
Please give Hugs! Pray for people! Let them know our Lord loves them!
Let me share this with you………
The POWER of Time!
My times are in thy hand. Psalm 31:15
The plural in this Scripture verse implies the singular: “All my time is in your hands, O God. It belongs to You; You alone have the right to command it. I yield it wholly and gladly to Your disposal.”
What mighty power time can exert if wholly given up to God!
I am reading this in my morning devotionals as I write to you this morning…….When I was reading this I just started to release much stress and leap for joy!
I have more time than I ever thought I did, because the Lord charges me everyday! He directs my day…He supplies me with the time to do what He wants me to do! I get more done in less time than ever before in my life! Which is such a blessing because there is so much work to do!
Many times people ask me, “Dewey how do you do all you do?” And I think nothing of it, I just do what the Lord directs me to do……When we release our days and nights to the Lord great things happen! I don’t even watch the clock anymore! Have not for years! (When I am on the air, I do of course for obvious reasons! LOL!)
When I look around at my mentor’s, they are always getting much work done for the Lord, going strong for the Lord. Not watching a clock!
There is such freedom doing the Lord’s work, He carries you through each day!
Pray everyday and have the Lord direct your day….your time and your appointments and your work!
Our communion with God, our likeness to His image, and our power in His service all depend on one condition: that we have sufficient time with God for His holiness to shine on us with its light and to make us partakers of His Spirit and His life. The very essence of religion lies in how much time we spend with God. Yes so many of God’s servants, while giving their lives to His service, frankly confess that the feebleness of their spiritual lives and the inadequate results of their mission work as a whole are due to the failure to make the time—–and to use it wisely—–for daily communion with God!
I had a lovely lady by the name of Natasha tell me the other day.”I take my Jesus with me wherever I go!” AMEN!
Before I hand it over to Karen Rowe………..Let me share this………
From Richard J. Foster………
In our efforts to pray it is easy for us to be defeated right at the outset because we have been taught that everything in the universe is already set, and so things cannot be changed. And if things cannot be changed, why pray? We may gloomily feel this way, but the Bible does not teach that. The Bible pray-ers prayed as if their prayers could and would make a difference. The apostle Paul gladly announces that we are “co-laborers with God” that is we are working with God to determine the outcome of events (! Cor 3:9) It is Stoicism that demands a closed universe not the Bible!
This From Karen Rowe………
Hey there Dewey! Just wanted to drop a note to say that I’m still standing with you in prayer. So many prayer needs, but God is a big God. Stay high with God and don’t look down! Sometimes it may seem that God is not answering a prayer, but he is! Keep thanking God for what he has done, is doing and will do! You know, when God healed my dad, the greatest healing was Spiritual. But the thing that God taught me is that my prayers were answered either way…God heals us on earth and in heaven; sometimes we just do not know where that healing will take place. Our goal is heaven, but for today, we can live on earth as it is in heaven in our Spiritual life! Our Spirit is stronger than our mere human body! My prayers are with Scott and his family. My prayers are with Sharon and your family and this ministry that God has given you. My prayer is for all in need; and there are so many. Like Rob said last night, Lybia really needs our prayers right now! This is not really to post, , just on my heart to say that you are supported with prayer. We serve a mighty God! You are so right to say that all we need is Jesus! Sad, sad stuff in this world and even sadder is a leader who is trying to base leadership decisions on emotions and pleasing people who are nice people. We need to please God and God pleases people…if the world would just commit and submit their will to his own! Jesus is the one who can change the world…one soul at a time; one heart at a time!
God bless,
Karen
and as always, I didn’t sent this to post. Yet, sometimes you ask me if it is okay and my answer is always if it is the Lords will. My commitment is to God first in all that I try to do. Love to all! I don’t want to live like I don’t care; I don’t want to sit around and wait on someone else to do what God has called me to do myself! I could choose not to move, but I refuse! I love that song!
Let us be in constant prayer for each other and our families! In the name of Jesus, AMEN!
In the Love of Christ, Dewey Sharon and family
