Dear KKIM/KARS/SHINE Family
May God be with you this day and all days…….
When I saw this posting from Pastor Brenton Franks yesterday……..the Lord formed the following message for the CUP…….Let us soak in this word from Pastor Brenton………
Sometimes life seems almost too much. How do you carry on? Remember this promise found in 1 Corinthians 10:13 “The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, he will show you a way out so that you can endure.” (NLT)
I’m so sorry I fell ill yesterday…..I’m so sorry I did not get a CUP out to you! I was hit with either food poisoning or the 24 hour wicked flu! WOW!
Sharon says that I have just been putting in too many hours and have just about crashed! Please pray. I think I crashed and did not know it!!!!!!!! LOL LOL!
But I am up and feeling better today….not at 100%, but I’m here!
I always feel so bad when I do not get a CUP out and did not get to the Radio Ranch yesterday! I rarely miss a day..once again I am very sorry.
Then I was up at 3am on Thursday to get Gretchen to the airport so she could fly out to Chicago to see Lars. PRAISE GOD that HE gave me the energy to do that. But I spent much time on my knees in the bathroom and I was not only praying!!!!! LOL! LOL!
Here is a photo of son Lars and daughter Gretchen in Chicago as Gretchen get’s to spend a few days with her Brother……..
They are such wonderful children….or should I say Adults!!!!….Godly and honest as the day is long! They are having a BLAST together! PRAISE GOD!
My thanks to Pastor Bill Ruhl who has filled in for Frank Haley for these last 3 weeks! Bill has done such Godly work! Bill also is an AWESOME writer, you can catch his writings at www.new,exiconewsandviews.com
Here is what Pastor Bill posted in this morning’s news at www.mykkim.com

Just a few quick headlines today and now my thanks and closing thoughts as I complete my broadcast time here at KKIM and KARS News. My sincere thanks and love to Dewey Moede for allowing me this opportunity for ministry. To my new, good friend and mentor “the Old Texan”, Frank Haley, for taking an extended vacation and trusting me with his news and views family of listeners. To all who supported my efforts and came by to encourage me over the last three weeks on air: Jim, Stuart, Jim, Paul, Ryan, and Misty. And to our program director Bobby, who bailed me out on more than one early morning occasion as I struggled along in a world of computers, sound-boards, and recording and editing programs I was all too unfamiliar with. My favorite encouragement from Bobby came after I called him in to look at my 6:59AM Recording Conversion File. He looked at me and said, ”Yeah, I defragged everything and cleared out the old files for you.” Dismayed, I said, “Bobby. There’s nothing there.” He just looked at this old “silver hair” and said, “I know. Just create a new file and you’re all set.” Oh! You have to love this new generation that grew up with every high tech toy you can imagine and it’s all just second nature to them.
So, New Mexico, Colorado, and listeners around the world on the internet, thank you for allowing me into your lives these past three weeks. I encourage you to tune-in often to KKIM and KARS for “the News You Need to KNOW” and support our ministry sponsors who help to keep us going out over the airwaves; Joe and Linda Page of Car Pro Auto Sales, Kim Jew Photography, and Robert B. Gibson Auto Sales in Albuquerque, John Chitwood of Southern Blvd Automotive Repair in Rio Rancho, and MVD Express in Los Lunas. All wonderful people, with which to do your business.
Remember, no matter what “the News You Need to Know” is, good or bad, God holds you in the palm of His hand. You can’t be snatched out. And, most of all, God dearly loves you!

WOW! Pastor Bill walked into my office one day 2 months ago and says, “What can I do for you?” Bill is a gift from God. I thank the Lord for people like Bill and all the Pastor’s that HE is sending to help us! PRAISE GOD! My prayer is that Bill will be with us more in the future. The Body of Christ is at work here at the CUP and Radio Ranch!
I also want to remind all my friends from the Windom, Minnesota area you can catch a Windom version of the CUP at www.windomnews.com and click on “columns” and look for my name. The write up posted now is, “Where have our Hero’s gone?” I was telling my brother Daryl last night who now lives in Sioux Falls, SD, that not only did Dad write for the Windom newspaper, the Citizen, but Grandma Caraway wrote for the paper in the 50’s and 60’s doing the Delafield News. Those were the days when the Citizen still had reporters in the different townships do a column every week on who visited who and what events were going on in the individual Townships. The Windom Newspaper is one of, if not the best newspaper in the United States for community coverage and in depth news, always has been and has won many awards for it. One of the reasons is that the Anderson family has retained ownership for years and has solid people as a staff. Other towns the same size or even larger than Windom, are not as fortunate. I always say Windom is blessed to have the Citizen and the local Radio Station KDOM. The population of Windom is around 4,000 but it has the media power of a City of 100,000!!! I say this because solid media is nothing to take for granted, In Albuquerque we have 50 radio stations, and so much NOTHING NOISE! I wake up every morning asking myself, Are we at KKIM/KARS/SHINE serving our community? Are we being servants?
I’m from the old school, in Radio we have to have a licence, one of the long time guidelines is that we must serve the Public. I take it a step further, God gave us the airwaves, He gave us the technology to serve His people. Now we have the Internet and other fancy dancy things I don’t completely understand but God has given me people around me that do. God always supplies our needs when it is His Will. He has surrounded me with so many Godly people to help me use today’s technology to further the Great Commission.
This morning I am thanking the Lord for the long line of Godly heritage I have in writing for my hometown newspaper with Grandma Caraway and my Dad.
You see, it is this that drives me….My prayer is that all have what I have had…..ROOTS…….ROOTS of a Godly family, Grandpa’s and Grandma’s Mom and Dad, Aunts and Uncle’s….too some this will sound corny, but I wake up every morning to fight for God’s people! I want all to have a family, a family of God! To have what I have had. And the darkness of today has torn the fabric of the American family apart.
We have a front page story of a man dressed in women’s underwear on the front page of newspapers because he wore that on an airplane!!! That is how sick our society is!
We have a story this morning of a Former President of the University of New Mexico arrested for being involved in a Prostitution ring!
We have the story of the Public Safety Director for the City of Albuquerque saying many Police officers are putting a “STAIN” on the Dept. by their ugly actions on the street and on facebook!
We have the Attorney General of New Mexico trying to explain his lack of action against the darkness, as many call for his resignation.
We cannot avoid the darkness! We must shine the light of Jesus on it!
We must be role models! Role models of Jesus Christ.we must use all the technology that God gave us to shine the light.
We must not be afraid to confront the darkness, we must be BOLD in JESUS CHRIST!
This is taken from my posting at www.windomnews.com
My biggest point here that I am trying to bring across is that you can have boldness, be a fierce competitor on the field of life and at the same time show and give Godly love.
Today, it seems we have become afraid to be fierce for Jesus — be bold for Jesus — because we are afraid to offend or get people mad at us. We want to be, as they say, “Politically correct.”

I pray you read the whole write up.
We must not conform to this world…..we must be Salt and Light for JESUS!
If you have any questions as always, please email me.
Let me share this with you………
beyond reproach
So good as to preclude any possibility of criticism.
I have been taught that by my Dad and Uncle Joe. Now we will always get some criticism, as we shine the light of Jesus!
But the point my Dad and Uncle Joe and other’s have taught me in my life, is do not embarrass God by anything you do. Be beyond reproach.
This goes for what you say and do.
The Lord has been telling me to be so careful in my actions with what I type and say. be careful what you text, be careful what you email.
I see on facebook, things that Christians are saying and posting and much of it embarrasses God. Even foul language. This is what an unbelieving world loves to see, Christians behaving badly.
I have had to talk to some of my friends about what they are posting!
As I stated earlier we are to use this technology for God’s Glory Alone!
It may be to keep in touch with family and friends and tell others what we are up to and post family pictures and also carry out the Great Commission.
Please be BEYOND REPROACH!!!!
Use everything you have to carry forth the message of Jesus Christ!
Stand above the cloud of darkness……..and shine the light of JESUS on it.
The Lord is showing me so clearly the darkness……that is one of the first things to ask yourself..are you seeing the darkness around you? And how are you dealing with it in a Godly way?
The Lord has also given me the discernment to feel it…..as it comes near…….do you feel the darkness when it comes near to you?
When you have a close relationship with Jesus Christ….the Holy Spirit comes upon you so strongly that the Messenger will let you know when darkness is near and what to do!
Please email me if you do not understand or have any questions……I would love to talk to you!
I pray that you are inspired by Today’s CUP that it even brings you closer to Jesus! That is our intent.
We cover your prayers here at the Radio Ranch…….Just remember be BOLD IN JESUS CHRIST!
In the Love of Jesus Christ, Dewey Sharon and family
