Dear KKIM/KARS Family,
May God Bless you and yours this day!
Has God taken a hold of your entire life?
Really have been touched by the Book, “The Circle Maker” by Pastor Mark Batterson. It is a LIFE CHANGER! I was telling friend Jim Hofflander of Mankato, Minn this yesterday and Jim went out to purchase it! Kevin at Bibles Plus here in the Duke City has it 40% off right now!
You also can now order Karen Rowe’s book, “The Train Whistle” by going to www.thetrainwhistle.com Many have been asking how they can get a copy.I was blessed to write the forward! You will be so blessed by this book!
Oh, and another book that is dynamite is, “Obtainable Destiny” by Pastor Steve Hickey of Sioux Falls, SD, who is also a State Legislator in South Dakota! I talked to Pastor Steve on the phone last week and were are trying to line up an interview on KKIM. This book has had a HUGE impact on me. Please pray for his wife Kristen who has breast cancer.
Look at what is happening in South Dakota! PRAISE GOD, led by Pastor Hickey!
The South Dakota House approved a measure on Wednesday to put an academic study of the Bible back in the state’s public schools.
The non-binding resolution, HCR 1004, passed the House 55-13. The measure holds no force of law, but only encourages school districts to add Bible courses.
Supporters say students should be aware of the role the Bible has played in the development of literature, art, culture, and public discourse.
Rep. Steve Hickey, R-Sioux Falls, who is also a pastor, told the Rapid City Journal it was important to give students the chance to study the Bible in a “non-devotional way” because of its cultural significance.
There is no state law that would prevent the academic study of the Bible or other religious books in public schools.
“I think it’s appropriate under this resolution to give kids the opportunity to understand, historically, who God is,” Rep. Shawn Tornow, R-Sioux Falls, said.
Critics say the measure promotes religious beliefs and violates the separation of church and state.
The resolution now heads to the South Dakota State Senate.
The Secular Media sure will not cover this one!
I want to thank Paul and Rene Dokken for the book and for introducing me to Pastor Hickey!
Pastor Bill Ruhl was on NM News and Views with me Friday and we talked about the 10 Commandments and the 12 Disciples. Why do most Church’s not post the Commandments from God anymore? Why do we not teach on them? Many are leaving this basic, Foundational Teaching out of the Church and Homes. My Spirit is very unsettled by this. My Uncle Joe said before he passed on that if the 10 Commandments were taught on like years ago we would not have all the problems we have in the United States. We, the Church have even gotten away from them. More in this CUP as Pastor Bill writes about it………
The Lord is showing me that I need to rise earlier in the day……..4am is too late………There is much to pray about……much reading to be done………much listening to the Holy Spirit to be done………I am now feeling behind when I wake at 4am.
Here are some thoughts the LORD has given to me this morning to share with you…………………..
The Lord does not always demonstrate how He is working in our situations. We must trust Him even when we don’t see His activity Charles Stanley 8:05am Weekdays KKIM
The happiest moments are when we forget our precious selves, but have everything else (God, fellow humans, animals, garden, & sky) instead CS Lewis
Oh, I had a precious moment with Gretchen yesterday……..just spending time with her getting her car ready for her return trip to School and shopping for supplies……..and seeing how this little girl has grown into such a Godly Women, brought me to tears. Thank YOU LORD for that little time yesterday, I will carry it in my hip pocket!
Conrad Hilton, yes that Hilton, said in his autobiography, “In the circle of successful living, prayer is the hub that holds the wheel together. Without our contact with God we are nothing. With it, we are, a little lower than angels, crowned with glory and honor.”
We live in a culture that overvalues fifteen minutes of fame and undervalues lifelong faithfulness.
We live in a quick fix, real-time culture. Between the news ticker and Twitter, we’re always in the know, always in the now. We don’t just want to have our cake and eat it too; we want the instant brand. We want to reap the second after we sow, but that isn’t the way it works with praying hard. We need the patience of the planter. We need the foresight of the farmer. We need the mind set of the sower.
Because we are surrounded by technologies that make our lives faster and easier, we tend to think about Spiritual realities in those terms.
How about Daniel? he knew his prayers would not be answered for seventy years, yet he prayed with a sense of urgency everyday!
And it was this powerful prayerful posture that led Daniel to one of the most unlikely rises to power in political history. How does a prisoner of war become Prime Minister of the Country that took him captive in the first place?
Only God.
The older I get the more I crave God.
The more I crave getting up earlier and read and pray.
Praying hard starts with listening to the still small voice of the Holy Spirit . And if you are faithful in the small things and obey those little prompting’s from the Holy Spirit, then God can use you to do big things!
“Don’t be afraid. Just stand still and watch the Lord rescue you today. The Egyptians you see today will never be seen again. The Lord himself will fight for you. Just stay calm.” Exodus 14:13-14
What would be the hardest thing to do with the Egyptian Army charging straight at you at full speed?
The hardest thing to do is precisely what God told them to do: STAND STILL!!!!
God just doesn’t play chicken; He also plays flinch.
When we find ourselves in this kind of situation, we want to do something. anything.
We have a nervous energy that wants to solve the problem as quickly as possible.
But God tells them to do nothing but pray.
The closer the Egyptian army got, the more intense their prayers became.
They clenched their jaws.
They stood their holy ground.
They prayed like they had never prayed before.

I HIGHLY recommend this book!
Let’s check our prayer needs………..
I talked to Dominic Lopez’s Grandmother yesterday, Carla, and she reports that Dom is making good progress in his recovering. Dom will remain in rehab for about another week. It has been a long journey for this little guy and his family. Please keep them in your prayers.
Please continue to pray for Victor Martinez and his back pain. Let us cover Victor in prayers and lift him up to the Lord, as he continues to suffer pain.

Let us pray over this situation and little Bella………..
WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — Republican presidential hopeful Rick Santorum canceled his Sunday morning campaign events and planned to spend time with his hospitalized daughter.
“Rick and his wife Karen are admitting their daughter Bella to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia this evening,” spokesman Hogan Gidley said in a statement Saturday night, adding “Rick intends to return to Florida and resume the campaign schedule as soon as is possible.”
Santorum had been scheduled to appear on NBC’s “Meet the Press” and attend church in Miami. Officials did not cancel Sunday’s afternoon events in Sarasota and Punta Gorda.
Isabella Santorum has Trisomy 18, a genetic condition caused by the presence of all or part of an extra 18th chromosome. When asked about her, Santorum says his daughter was not expected to survive until her first birthday and often has to catch himself to stop from tears.
“I have a little girl who’s 3 1/2 years old,” he told Christian conservatives in Iowa before winning that lead-off contest.
“I don’t know whether her life is going to be measured – it’s always been measured – in days and weeks. Yet here I am. … because I feel like I wouldn’t be a good dad if I wasn’t out here fighting for a country that would see the dignity in her and every other child.”
When voters ask him about her, he calls the decision to campaign “gut-retching” but says he goes forward for all special needs families.
“You think she’s fine, and then one cold and she’s this close to dying,” he told The Washington Post last year in an interview.
In October, he missed one of Bella’s surgeries to participate in a debate and told the audience that he planned to take an all-night flight home from Las Vegas to be with her.
“I look at the simplicity and love she emits,” Santorum said in a web video his campaign released after his scheduling drew questions, “and it’s clear to me we’re the disabled ones.”
Santorum largely has kept his daughter off the campaign schedules, preferring her to stay home with her mother. But Bella did join Santorum for a few days around Iowa’s straw poll in August, and she joined her family in Charleston, S.C., the day of its primary.
She didn’t join her six siblings for the public speech. She stayed backstage
Let us pray on that news………….
