Dear KKIM family,
May you be with God this day……..
Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. James 4:8 AMEN!
WOW! Just got this very short but IMPACTFUL email from Tom Johnson who is in Israel……it reads……
Am At the Garden Tomb and thought of you. He lives.
PRAISE GOD! Can you imagine being there? WOW!
I thank our friend Tom for sharing! It has been a dream of mine and Sharon’s to visit Israel! We were to go this year but it did not work out.
I know that Sharon and I have been called by our Lord to help people come to our Lord. There is nothing fancy about this Ministry, just a calling by the Lord that has been placed on our hearts.
Getting out and meeting people………meeting them where they are at. That was Preached to me by Ryan Freeman, and I believe Ryan was told by God to tell me that.
Sharon went to hear Max Lucado and other speakers the final night we were at NRB and she heard Miles McPherson a former NFL player with San Diego and now Sr. Pastor at Rock Church in San Diego say, “Too many Church’s are worried about butt’s in the seats, where at our Church we are focused on boots on the ground!” AMEN! Meeting people where they are at!
Jesus walked…….we must walk……and share the story of Jesus!
I will Boldly tell you this, as I Boast in the Lord, He is doing a great work in me and Sharon. He is moving us up in our service to Him.
We don’t know what it looks like, we can’t see it…but we are following Him to where He takes us.
We want everybody to know the Jesus we know!
We are so blessed now to be Ordained under Conviction of Christ Ministries, and have their covering as we go forth together in our Lord.
When the Lord had me meet Eddie B and his lovely wife, Sandi, the Lord confirmed to me and Sharon that we were to go under this covering and fly like Eagles for our Lord.
And now we are off together!
Our schedule is jam packed, I am sick today but will go in later, caught a bug in Nashville just after getting over a bug! Please pray.
I share this with you today to show you what happens when you draw near to God, He draws near to you, and then watch the HOLY SPIRIT move in your life!
That is our testimony to you this day!
Remember this:
If you are going to obey the Spirit of God, people will be offended by you! Jesus said in John 3:8, “The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit.”
Some will not understand you as you move with the Spirit. I get that sometimes, or maybe more than I think, Don’t allow their unpleasant response to deter you from what you know in your heart to be true. Don’t abort the flow of the Spirit for the desires of men.
Peter sums up this nicely:
Therefore, since Christ suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves also with the same mind, for he who has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin, that he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh for the lusts of men, but for the will of God. 1 Peter 4: 1-2 AMEN! halleluiah!
Please pray for Maria Martinez who is in the Hospital because of crippling rheumatoid arthritis.

February 23, 2012. “Sammy the squirrel” was a neighborhood red squirrel we loved, delighted in and fed from time to time. He is immortalized now because three days ago Sammy was run over by a car near our home. Before he died, he got along well with the sparrows, mockingbirds, blue jays and various other birds while delighting in sharing the provided food. Early mornings, I would hear him hop onto the roof over my study where I write and pray. Soon he would appear on the back patio to share breakfast with the birds. The day before Sammy died, I saw him climbing up our tall metal pole that supports a large birdhouse just off our patio. This time, the birds were offended greatly and after a bit, Sammy slid back down the pole in shame from his friends the birds. The Lord says, “Pursue peace and harmony and lead a joyous, happy life among neighbors.”

God is into connections. My children and I are on a trip that will reconnect us with family we have not seen for years and others we have never seen. Quantum physics teaches us that we are all connected. An instrument has not been invented yet to see these connections. At one time in history we could not see the largeness of other universes or the minutia of microscopic organisms. Then there were instruments invented to see them. “An opportunity is coming to reconnect with some with whom you have lost connections. It will be through unusual events, but don’t turn this opportunity down. This will be a wonderful reconnection.” 1 John 4:7-8 (NASB) “Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. Yesterday, we celebrated the life of a man who returned to his roots of righteousness. My cousin did not let his past hinder receiving his spiritual inheritance. “Refuse to let water that has passed underneath the bridge of your life hinder you from entering into the promises of My truth, life, and liberty. What steps are you willing to take right now to assure your inheritance that I have to give you. Receive who I say you are and who I have made you to be. Put actions in your life towards the cause of Christ. It is not about you. Let your life become absorbed in Me.” Psalm 37:23 (NLT) “The LORD directs the steps of the godly. Here's our Medical bag with Dr. Joe.......... FOODS TO EAT
• Eat a variety of salads, green vegetables and brightly-colored, above-ground vegetables.
Some super choices for your complex carbohydrates include broccoli, spinach, kale, mustard greens, collard greens, mixed greens, asparagus, green beans, peppers, cucumbers, Brussels sprouts, barley greens, radishes and onions. Cooking decreases the nutrient quality, therefore these vegetables deliver the most nutrition when they are raw, juiced or lightly steamed. Consider eating larger servings of these vegetables as a good source of protein at each meal.
• Add eggs to your diet.
Always eat eggs from organically raised, free-range or free-roaming hens that are not grain-fed. Look for high DHA on the label. Buying organic eggs is important, because in addition to pesticides and hormones, processed eggs are not as nutrient-dense. Eating eggs does not increase blood cholesterol levels. Be sure to eat eggs that have been prepared with low heat – soft-boiled, poached, over-easy or raw. If your cooked eggs have been burned, do not eat them. And if they are not organic, never eat them raw!
• Organic chicken, organic turkey and wild game contain essential omegas.
If you are not eating organic foods and grain-free/grass-fed meats and eggs because of their compromised omega 6 to 3 ratios, then it is even more critical that you take a high quality Fish Oil supplement.
• Eat only certified mercury-free fish.
Testing shows that unsafe mercury levels and other pollutants contaminate most fish, including farm-raised fish. If you do eat fish, try Pacific Salmon, Summer Flounder, Tilapia, Haddock and Sardines. These contain higher levels of the essential fats EPA and DHA. Be sure to AVOID commercial farm-raised fish that tend to be fed pollutants and are virtually devoid of omega-3 EPA/DHA essential fats.
• Great sources of protein provide needed sustenance.
Great sources of protein include beef (grain-free and grass-fed only; commercial beef should be minimized), bison (grain free/ grass-fed), and lamb.
• Cold broths, soups and stews cooked in low-heat are good choices.
These items are healthy as long as their ingredients are cooked in low-heat and contain ingredients consistent with the above.
Tomorrow, Friday, I’ll show you the “foods to absolutely avoid”. Monday, I’ll provide you with a “super foods” shopping list you’ll want to copy and print. The Lord bless you!
