Dear KKIM Family,
May you grow closer to God this day!
If you speak good words….you will be my spokesman. You must influence them; do not let them influence you! Jer. 15:19
WOW! Today we hear from Jim Hofflander, Ann Quest, Sharon, Karen Rowe, Pastor Bill Ruhl, Dr. Joe Fawcett, the CUP is overflowing! Enjoy! Be Blessed!
Some thought starters for your day………
I would not change places with the wealthiest and most influential person in the world. I would rather be a child of the King, a join-heir with Christ, a member of the Royal family of heaven! Words of Billy Graham.
When Jesus looks at you, are there tears of Joy in His eye’s? Does He see a person voicing praises to him?
Why are you a Christian?
Are you bearing fruit in your life for our Father?
What in your life is holding you back from giving your “whole being” to Jesus Christ?
Is there anything in your life that is like a rock in your shoe?
Do you know how to get rid of it?
Why do you go to Church? What are you getting out of Church? What are you putting INTO the Church?
Jesus wants followers who will risk it all——–living expressions of praise to Him—–no matter who hears or who sees.
As always, we are here to serve. You can always contact me by email.
Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. James 4:8
From Sharon………
“To get something you never had, you have to do something you never did”. When God takes something from your grasp, he’s not punishing you, but merely opening your hands to receive something better. Concentrate on this sentence: “The will of God will never take you where the Grace of God will not protect you.” Something good will happen to you today, something that you have been waiting to hear. ‘God our Father , walk through my house and take away all my worries and illnesses, and please watch over and heal my family; in your name, A men.’ This prayer is so powerful.
Let’s check our wonderful mailbag!!! We sure would love to hear from you!!!!
Dewey,
I’d like to take some space in The Cup to write a few words of praise for Karen Rowe’s book, The Train Whistle: Sounding the call of God’s Love. This is not a book that should be read quickly and then set aside. It is so full of her love for God as well as the reader that it must be read a little bit at a time to enable God’s message, through her, to filter into our minds and hearts. Her encounters with God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit thrilled me and caused my spirit and mind to want to know more.
I’m not a reader who is given to slowly reading a book; I usually rush through it to find out what happens at the end of the story. But the examples of God’s presence in her life are gems, and I have to underline and read them again and think about what I’ve read throughout the day. Here’s just one quote – “Whether you feel worthy or not, God loves you. You cannot change facts because God’s love exists as the absolute truth.” (page 88). That may not have meant much to your readers, but to me – as one who struggles with whether God loves me or not – this sentence is like pure water.
Thanks to Karen Rowe for sounding the clearest call of God’s love that I’ve heard yet.
Jim Hofflander
Thanks for sharing Jim! I believe Karen is Sandy Harrington’s guest on her program this week, Thursday at 3:30 MT Remember you can listen on line at www.mykkim.com Hearing from more people that they are listening to us out of state on the internet! Praise God!
here’s a great note from Ann Quest……..
Friends:
I have just watched an interview with Eric Mataxas, who wrote the story, Amazing Grace, the life of Wilburforce. He was discussing his second book, Bonhoeffer-pastor-martyr-prophet-spy, and revealing how the Church was not being the Church, back in 1933.
Bonhoeffer was from a highly educated family in Berlin, yet recognized that Hitler or been playing Christian during his first years in office. Again, Bonhoeffer was able to help separate out “The Confessing Church” from the State Nazi Church in the beginning and not be arrested. But as time goes on is the subject of the book.
Eric Mataxas stated that during the writing of this book, he began to see the similarities of what is happening in America. We are at the 1933 Germany.
Mr Mataxas was at the SUMMIT last evening in Colorado Springs, speaking to the attendees of the annual conference. He said that on his way to the plane yesterday he received a call from Harry Reid. YES, the Harry Reid !! Senator Reid was amazed at Eric’s book and complimented him on it and found it extremely interesting. Eric asked him if he would be able to get his book to President Obama, and the Senator said that he will try.
I am asking that you STOP and PRAY for the Senator right now…..that this man’s heart would be changed and that he have the Holy Spirit penetrate what has seemed to be a hardened heart. His face “seems” dead and yet this has happened. Please pray for him and that God will use him for His Purpose.

I have loved going through the 40 day Journey , Jesus Revealed……we should never grow old of this story….Today we are on day 18
Psalm 35:11 Old testament Prophecy
False witnesses step forward:
they ask me strange questions for which I have no answers.
Fulfilled in Jesus Mark 14:56
There were plenty of people willing to get up and accuse Jesus falsely, distorting what Jesus had said or done……
Let us pray on that…………
Here is an oldie but goodie that Sharon wanted to share with us this morning……….
I was walking around in a WalMart store, when I saw a cashier hand this little boy some money back.
The boy couldn’t have been more than 5 or 6 years old.
The Cashier said, ‘I’m sorry, but you don’t have enough money to buy this doll.’
Then the little boy turned to the old woman next to him, ”Granny, are you sure I don’t have enough money?” The old lady replied, ”You know that you don’t have enough money to buy this doll, my dear.”
Then she asked him to stay there for just 5 minutes while she went to look around. She left quickly.
The little boy was still holding the doll in his hand. Finally, I walked toward him and I asked him who he wished to give this doll to. ‘It’s the doll that my sister loved most and wanted so much for Christmas. She was sure that Santa Claus would bring it to her.’
I replied to him that maybe Santa Claus would bring it to her after all, and not to worry. But he replied to me sadly. ‘No, Santa Claus can’t bring it to her where she is now. I have to give the doll to my mommy so that she can give it to my sister when she goes there.’
His eyes were so sad while saying this, ‘My Sister has gone to be with God. Daddy says that Mommy is going to see God very soon too, so I thought that she could take the doll with her to give it to my sister.” My heart nearly stopped.
The little boy looked up at me and said, ‘I told daddy to tell mommy not to go yet. I need her to wait until I come back from the mall.’ Then he showed me a very nice photo of himself. He was laughing. He then told me ‘I want mommy to take my picture with her so she won’t forget me.
‘I love my mommy and I wish she didn’t have to leave me, but daddy says that she has to go to be with my little sister.’ Then he looked again at the doll with sad eyes, very quietly. I quickly reached for my wallet and said to the boy. ‘Suppose we check again, just in case you do have enough money for the doll.
” OK’ he said, ‘I hope I do have enough.’ I added some of my money to his without him seeing and we started to count it. There was enough for the doll and even some spare money. The little boy said, ‘Thank you God for giving me enough money!’ Then he looked at me and added, ‘I asked last night before I went to sleep for God to make sure I had enough money to buy this doll, so that mommy could give it to my sister. He heard me! ‘I also wanted to have enough money to buy a white rose for my mommy, but I didn’t dare to ask God for too much. But He gave me enough to buy the doll and a white rose. ‘My mommy loves white roses.’ A few minutes later, the old lady returned and I left with my basket. I finished my shopping in a totally different state of mind from when I started. I couldn’t get the little boy out of my mind.
Then I remembered a local newspaper article two days ago, which mentioned a drunk man in a truck, who hit a car occupied by a young woman and a little girl. The little girl died right away, and the mother was left in a criticalstate. The family had to decide whether to pull the plug on the life-sustaining machine, because the young woman would not be able to recover from the coma. Was this the family of the little boy?
Two days after this encounter with the little boy, I read in the newspaper that the young woman had passed away.
I couldn’t stop myself as I bought a bunch of white roses and I went to the funeral home where the body of the young woman was for people to see and make last wishes before her burial.
She was there, in her coffin, holding a beautiful white rose in her hand with the photo of the little boy and
the doll placed over her chest.
I left the place, teary-eyed, feeling that my life had been changed forever. The love that the little boy had for his mother and his sister is still, to this day, hard to imagine, and in a fraction of a second, a drunk driver had taken all this away from him.
Let’s hear from Karen Rowe……..
Like a dimmer switch, Jesus is glowing on the inside of our very being, but it is our responsibility to make HIM shine with kindness and patience…{love-1 Co 13}!
Every kind word & notion transforms {bad attitudes in us} … the Powerful light of Jesus brighter & brighter …just as we move a dimmer switch up … to brighten the light in a room.
BUT every unkind word or misbehavior dims our light of Jesus…in a sense like popping a hot air balloon to hit the ground…warning behavior…time to readjust to God’s expected behavior …and even for the above and beyond…
The JOY {Jesus 1st, Others 2nd, Yourself LAST} …The JOY of the LORD is our strength …and in this JOY ~ what we put last, God puts 1st, because of who Jesus is and what HE has done for us.
and hummm…[and what we put first…God puts last] It comes down to “self or Jesus”
LOVE NEVER FAILS … and Jesus is Lord of all …
Our words and actions control our JOY … God’s Word enables us to Fly like an Eagle {above the comprehension of limitations}… Soar too high to fall by saying bad words” …
Peace transcends all understanding!
We are called to just LOVE God with all our heart, spirit, mind body and soul; and to love others as God has first loved us.
Love never fails…Remain in Jesus and He will remain in you. God is Love. Remain in love and you are remaining in Jesus. Love is described in 1 Co 13.
I hope this is a blessing to you Today.
Love in Christ,
Karen Rowe

Are you ready to make a life-changing impact on the life of a child? The children need your help. See announcements below.
February 29, 2012. There are some very important things beyond your ability to comprehend. You will perhaps never understand. I have told you in different times and in different ways but you remain confused. Being confused makes you like a dull axe or like having double vision when you set your aim. Your confusion causes you frustration, leading to the loss of your peace. There is a peace that passes all understanding. This should be your goal in life now, to understand and to walk in peace – My peace. You spiritual roots are those of Israel because Abraham is your father in the faith. You were grafted into the vine of Jesus through your born again faith in Him. You are My family now. Learn from the past. Embrace the present and believe for tomorrow.
Romans 10:19 (MSG) “So the big question is, Why didn’t Israel understand that she had no corner on this message? Moses had it right when he predicted, When you see God reach out to those you consider your inferiors-outsiders!- you’ll become insanely jealous. When you see God reach out to people you think are religiously stupid, you’ll throw temper tantrums.” Ras Robinson

February 29, 2012. When I began teaching how quantum physics backs up Scripture, people approached me with their stories. One was an educator whose job was to only administer tests. He said when the students said, “I will TRY to do my best” they would not do as well as when they said, “I WILLdo my best.” “I know the desires I placed within you have not happened yet. Begin saying “I WILL do what it takes to make it happen.” I will show you what to do. I will give you wisdom how to accomplish these desires. Don’t give up. Let faith begin coming forth with sincerity and depth of emotion.
Matthew 21:21-22 (AMP) “And Jesus answered them, Truly I say to you, if you have faith (a firm relying trust) and do not doubt, you will not only do what has been done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, Be taken up and cast into the sea, it will be done. And whatever you ask for in prayer, having faith and [really] believing, you will receive.” Bev Robinson

February 29, 2012. Could you take time out of your daily routine today to show appreciation? A major element lacking in society today is thankfulness. Often people get wrapped up in the hustle and bustle of a busy schedule and forget to show gratitude to those who have helped them. I am specifically writing in regards to your pastor. Your pastor spends a lot of time shepherding the flock. Much of the time, all they hear is grumbling sheep. Although they have a calling from Me to do the work they do, they often get very little thanks along the way. Compliment them and show them a true heart of appreciation.
Hebrews 10:23-25 (NASB) “Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful; and let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds, not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more, as you see the day drawing near.”
Here is our Medical bag with Dr. Joe…….
An article recently published in the New England Journal of Medicine (the worldwide “bible” of Internal Medicine) reported an amazing finding; removal of precancerous lesions during routine colonoscopies has been demonstrated to slash the risk of dying from colon cancer by half. That’s huge, and it’s more evidence of the value of yearly maintenance for the human body.
I recommend yearly physicals, together with appropriate testing, like colonoscopies every five years, beginning at age 40, especially if there’s a family history of colon cancer. I’ve had one and I’m glad I did. There was nothing wrong and that valuable information gives me a great peace of mind to know that I know.
Also to be included are EKG’s, stress tests, echocardiograms, ultrasound exams of the carotid arteries, if needed, and lab tests at least yearly, often up to four times a year, for vitamin D3 levels, liver function tests especially if you’re on NSAID medications, or long term niacin (vitamin B-3) to lower LDL, or “bad,” cholesterol – all of which can irritate, or adversely affect, the liver.
Chest x-rays are used to rule out occult lesions of the lungs and ribs, while urinalysis can tell us in an instant if someone has full blown diabetes.
Blood tests rule out various forms of anemia, as well as infection, blood diseases (like leukemia), markers for inflammation (CRP) and the tendency of blood to clot (platelet levels, protime, partial thromboplastic time, bleeding time).
A full chemistry panel (CMP; Complete Metabolic Panel), measures blood electrolytes, minerals, liver function tests, blood sugar; all are needed as early warning screens for a number of diseases like diabetes, or liver disease.
Needed less often, but helpful once in a while, are blood tests for determining levels of homocysteine. High homocysteine levels can be associated with heart disease, because these higher levels can injure the endothelium; the inner lining of the coronary arteries. This, in turn, leads to a “repair” process, in which cholesterol is deposited within the artery walls. These plaques gradually narrow the inner diameter (lumen) of the blood vessels to create cardiovascular disease.
Another, more rarely needed, test is lipoprotein(a), which is an independent risk factor for heart disease. Your doctor will determine when and if this test is needed…but you have to ask…and ask you must.
Just like your car works best if you are conscientious about its maintenance on a regular, annual basis, so is your body more likely to do better, when subjected to regular examination and monitoring.
The other part of good maintenance is pre-emptive action. In a car, that’s using clean fuels, with the appropriate octane rating, regular oil and fluid changes. In the body, that’s eating right, drinking enough water, exercising regularly and using premium quality supplements to optimize lipid levels, reduce cardiac risks and improve cardiopulmonary reserve. These measures taken together, vastly improve your odds for a longer, happier and healthier life.
Normally, you depend on your own doctor to keep track of these things. But with the many changes in medicine today, including the over working of the physician with way too many patients, just to maintain their overhead and expenses, such maintenance measures may slip through the cracks. And this trend only promises to get much, much worse, especially if the disastrous obama-care is upheld by the courts.
Bottom line: You must be responsible for your own health care and maintenance. You must keep track of what tests you need annually and even more important, YOU must do whatever is needed to reduce your risk. Over the last 38 years in the health care industry, I have discovered that lifelong health truly occurs from you much more so than from any health care provider.
If you are currently overweight, or obese, if you have diabetes, or a family history of same, if you currently smoke, drink too much, take illicit drugs, or are a card-carrying couch potato, you are at a great risk of serious health problems including a premature, painful, and expensive death. You have got to learn how to lose weight and keep it off, lower your blood lipids, increase your lung capacity, and improve your cardiac function, by reducing any risk factors that shows up on your health examinations. To save your health and your life, you need to take action, NOW!

Lets hear from Pastor Bill ……..
Financial Advice You Need to Know:
A little different take today on sowing or planting seed. Some years back the Lord impressed me with this understanding: When we sow (plant) seed it is a prophetic act. We are declaring an expected harvest in the future by our action today with whatever seed God has given us to steward. As we begin to water that seed with faith, the sowing and watering couple together to bring forth that future result. We must train ourselves to believe (That’s what Jesus instructed: “only believe!”) in what we see in the future as our expected harvest (that’s faith).
If we only believe in what we can see in the present that takes no faith ingredient, because it already is. Faith is the assurance (substance) of things hoped for (expected), the evidence (conviction) of things not yet seen. (Hebrews 11:1) We must have this added measure of faith present when we sow and plant to receive the fullness of what is ahead in the future and draw it into the now (present season) of our lives. As we learn to do this we will begin to praise God (with Thanksgiving) for the things yet to occur. We will begin to move with God in a symphony of sound and faith that brings together the present (planting) and future (harvest).
God wants us to prosper in our sowing and planting like never before. He takes great pleasure in the prosperity of His servants. Prosperity is our increased ability to give generously so that God’s covenant promise is established in our lives and throughout the world. 3 John 2 states: “I pray that you may prosper in ALL respects, just as your soul prospers”. However you determine to plant your resources today, do so as a prophetic act coupled with faith which becomes a proclamation of the harvest or manifestation of prosperity coming into your life. 2 Corinthians 4:13 says, “But having the same spirit of faith…I believed, therefore I spoke…” What a symphony you will create in your life!
