Dear KKIM family,
Good morning to you all! I had in my mind to continue our conversation on Faith, but the Lord, as Sam says in today’s CUP, The Lord holds the Keys……and He sent today’s words………..
Children Can Praise and Worship God Bible Verses
But when the chief priests and the scribes saw the wonderful things that he did, and the children crying out in the temple, “Hosanna to the Son of David!” they were indignant, and they said to him, “Do you hear what these are saying?” And Jesus said to them, “Yes; have you never read, “‘Out of the mouth of infants and nursing babies you have prepared praise’?”
(Matthew 21:15-16 ESV)
Out of the mouth of babes and infants, you have established strength because of your foes, to still the enemy and the avenger.
(Psalms 8:2 ESV)
Children Are Examples Of Humble Faith In Jesus Bible Verses
And calling to him a child, he put him in the midst of them and said, “Truly, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. “Whoever receives one such child in my name receives me, but whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to have a great millstone fastened around his neck and to be drowned in the depth of the sea.
(Matthew 18:2-6 ESV)
“See that you do not despise one of these little ones. For I tell you that in heaven their angels always see the face of my Father who is in heaven.
(Matthew 18:10 ESV)
Like newborn infants, long for the pure spiritual milk, that by it you may grow up to salvation– if indeed you have tasted that the Lord is good.
(1 Peter 2:2-3 ESV)
Jesus Has A Passion That No Child Be Lost Bible Verses
What do you think? If a man has a hundred sheep and one of them has gone astray, does he not leave the ninety-nine on the mountains and go in search of the one that went astray? And if he finds it, truly, I say to you, he rejoices over it more than over the ninety-nine that never went astray. So it is not the will of my Father who is in heaven that one of these little ones should perish.
(Matthew 18:12-14 ESV)
Bible Verses About Jesus Blessed The Children
And they were bringing children to him that he might touch them, and the disciples rebuked them. But when Jesus saw it, he was indignant and said to them, “Let the children come to me; do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God. Truly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child shall not enter it.” And he took them in his arms and blessed them, laying his hands on them.
(Mark 10:13-16 ESV)
Now they were bringing even infants to him that he might touch them. And when the disciples saw it, they rebuked them. But Jesus called them to him, saying, “Let the children come to me, and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God. Truly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child shall not enter it.”
(Luke 18:15-17 ESV)
I come to you today a joyful heart in our Lord, but at the same time a sadness, a deep sadness as to what we are doing to God’s children………
The New Testament refers to Jesus in the womb as a “child” and indicates that Mary had a normal gestation period (Luke 2:1-6; [1:56-57]) carrying Jesus, whose body was developing within her for a full nine months, showing that the Lord began His earthly human life as a tiny embryo, a single cell. Many centuries before the Incarnation, the most famous twins in the history of the world, Jacob and Esau, fraternal twins, are called “children” in the Scriptures while they are in the womb. And of course, to this day, twins grab hold of one another in the womb, and unborn children suck their thumbs, play with their toes, sleep, dream, and even learn the melodies of songs, and their own mother’s voice.
Here’s what President Reagan said about Abortion………
I’ve noticed that everybody that is for abortion has already been born.
RONALD REAGAN, New York Times, Sept. 22, 1980
Live Action Films released a new undercover video that suggests gender-selective abortion is a real issue here in America.
The group says its undercover video shows Planned Parenthood willing to perform an abortion just because a pregnant woman doesn’t want a girl.
Some call such sex-selective abortions the real war on women.
The undercover video comes from Austin, Texas, but is just one of several to come. You can watch the undercover video at ProtectOurGirls.com.
One hundred million unborn girls have reportedly been killed by the ongoing worldwide

The killing of innocent children in Syria is forcing world leaders to take a hard line against the regime of President Bashar Assad.
The governments of the U.S., France, Britain, Germany, Spain, Italy, Australia and Canada have expelled Syrian diplomats in the wake of a brutal massacre last Friday.
More than one hundred people were murdered in the community of Houla near the city of Homs.
The United Nations claims 49 children and 34 women were included among the dead.
Western leaders are pointing to Assad’s government as the culprit in the killings.
U.N. observers arrived in Houla over the weekend, where residents dug a mass grave for the victims. The observers are trying to hold together a failing U.N.-sponsored cease-fire between the Syrian army and opposition forces in the country.
“We have got an agreement from the government, both from in Damascus and locally, to stop any attacks from the government side,” Martin Griffith of the U.N. Observer Force explained.
“So, we want to make sure that is understood locally by the government checkpoint, and then we want to make sure that the other side understands that there is a stand-down, a truce, and that they also won’t attack,” he said.
The Syrian government says the real account of the massacre is buried under what it called a “tsunami of lies.” But leaders in Europe and the United States are outraged by the latest killings, and they’re putting responsibility on the Assad regime.
“There is not the slightest doubt that there was deliberate government shelling against a civilian neighborhood in these three villages outside Homs,” said Sir Mark Lyall Grant from the U.K. Permanent Representative Office to the U.N.
Meanwhile, Arizona Sen. John McCain (R) criticized the Obama administration in an interview with Fox News, citing its lack of leadership in dealing with the Syrian atrocities and Assad in the 15 months since the uprising against him began.
“Here we have over a year, and we’re now talking about possibly vetting some people,” McCain said. “Nearly 10,000 people have died. This is a brutal regime of incredible proportions.”
The White House and heads of European governments have been slow to push for Assad’s ouster because they didn’t want to antagonize Russia, which supports Assad with weapons and financial resources.
But after the latest massacre, even the Russians are on the verge of admitting that the situation in Syria is out of control.
Let us pray on all these situations please………………
Sharon’s friend and her friends babies need our prayers……….
Please pray for a friend of Sharon’s…… She recently found out she was pregnant. This should have been only full of joy, but it has also brought fear into her heart. She is older and this baby was unexpected. In the past her pregnancies have been hard and her last birth was risky and came with complications. This friend is currently experiencing severe nausea and vomiting and she is losing weight when the doctors tell her she should be gaining. Yesterday she told Sharon that she had an ultrasound and discovered she is carrying twins. Joy be to God! But she is worried and in tears. Her OB/GYN considers her a very high risk and she fears for the health of her babies as well as herself. She needs all your prayers and distant support to get through this trying pregnancy. Thank you all for your prayers for our Special friend!
Frank Haley undergoes hip replacement surgery today, please keep him in your prayers. My thanks to Pastor Bill Ruhl and Grant Kuck for filling in.
Here is an update from Sam on the condition of her son…………
Dear Dewey, back at the room. My son was released today. But is still at the Hosp. with Jim. and their wives. I am exhausted today. Stress I think can do that. Even tho I KNOW who holds the Keys. ….Tomorrow they will go in and ‘Stabilize’ Jim’s back. Apparently he has a bone fragment in his spinal cord and they can’t remove it for fear of spinal fluid leakage. So they will stabilize it and get his upright and stronger then deal with the fragment. Who knows that fragment just may be gone when they get in there tomorrow! Lord Willing!!!!! I have more faith in Our Lord than any man on this earth! So we will be here another few days, my son cannot leave them now…Thank You Dewey for your caring and Love! I am very thankful to have you as my friend! God’s Peace, Sam
We are praying Sam………..I love your word’s, I know who holds they KEYS!!!!
Before we go further here at the CUP I have to share with you a letter from Joe who does our Farm and Ranch News on KKIM at 5:30am weekdays. Yes, we are a radio station that still does farm and ranch news!!!
Hey Pastor Dewey…
Earlier today I received a phone call from a man who lives in Phoenix. He works all night as a security guard and listens to KKIM 1000 AM all the way over in Phoenix, AZ, if you can believe that! He especially enjoys Farmview at 4:30am (his time) and specifically called me at my office to tell me so. He said he knows you’re powered down at that time of morning and doesn’t know how in the heck he gets your signal, but he does! I thought you’d get a kick out of knowing that. Via con Dios, Joe
Thanks Joe! I have to say that we also get reports from people just outside Phoenix that hear KKIM during the day!!!!!!!!!! God has blessed us with a tremendous signal!!!!!!!!
Darlene Quiring sent this in after yesterdays CUP, Keeping the Faith……….
I said to myself, “I will watch what I do
and not sin in what I say.
I will hold my tongue
when the ungodly are around me.”
But as I stood there in silence—
not even speaking of good things—
the turmoil within me grew worse.
The more I thought about it,
the hotter I got,
igniting a fire of words:
… “Lord , remind me how brief my time on earth will be.
Remind me that my days are numbered—
how fleeting my life is.
You have made my life no longer than the width of my hand.
My entire lifetime is just a moment to you;
at best, each of us is but a breath.” Interlude
We are merely moving shadows, and all our busy rushing ends in nothing.
We heap up wealth,
not knowing who will spend it.
And so, Lord, where do I put my hope?
My only hope is in you.
Rescue me from my rebellion.
Do not let fools mock me.
I am silent before you; I won’t say a word, for my punishment is from you.
But please stop striking me!
I am exhausted by the blows from your hand.
When you discipline us for our sins, you consume like a moth what is precious to us.
Each of us is but a breath. Interlude
Hear my prayer, O Lord !
Listen to my cries for help!
Don’t ignore my tears.
For I am your guest—
a traveler passing through,
as my ancestors were before me.
Leave me alone so I can smile again before I am gone and exist no more. (Psalm 39:1-13 NLT)
Here’s a great devotional piece from Max Lucado………
When Christ is great–our fears are not! A big God translates into big courage. A small view of God generates no courage. A limp, puny, fire less Jesus has no power over cancer cells, corruption, identity theft, stock-market crashes, or global calamity.
A packable, portable Jesus might fit well in a purse or on a shelf, but he does nothing for your fears. In the book Prince Caspian by C.S. Lewis, the character Lucy sees Aslan, the lion, for the first time in many years. He’s changed.
“Aslan,” she says, “you’re bigger.”
“That’s because you are older, little one,” he answers.
“Not because you are?”
“I am not. But every year you grow, you will find me bigger.”
And so it is with Christ. The longer we live in him, the greater he becomes in us. It’s not that he changes, but that we do. We see more of him!

May 30, 2012. Our pastor preached last Sunday, on Memorial Day weekend, about our heritage as a nation. He cautioned against pride and arrogance wherever it is found, especially in exalting oneself above others and even God. He pointed out that America and Israel are so vitally connected in many ways. Both nations have been damaged and weakened by arrogance and pride. Even in trying to do good, we can sometimes project pride and arrogance before others and God. Exalting yourself is a sin that needs to be confessed and forgiven. Self-exaltation is manifested pride. Self-confidence overdone is the same. It is foolishness to not consult the Lord about every decision. Likewise, it is foolish to think too much of yourself so as to display pride or arrogance. Think and pray on this.
Proverbs 30:32 (NASB) “If you have been foolish in exalting yourself or if you have plotted evil, put your hand on your mouth.” Ras Robinson

May 30, 2012. The children of your home reflect what goes on from day to day. What are they learning from you especially about authority? Do they deep down see authority as something good for their protection by correcting destructive behavior? Is your home a place where love, respect, and teamwork is the norm. I know this is a strong word. I also know that many children are growing up like orphans as fatherless and motherless children. Sometimes that is also the way you grew up, not respecting authority. At times you did not know because you did not often see it in your home. But that can change. Inquire of Me every day.
Proverbs 10:1 (NLT) ” A wise child brings joy to a father; a foolish child brings grief to a mother.” Bev Robinson

May 30, 2012. Pay close attention to instructions I have given you. Do not become double minded in your approach to some weighty decisions you are making. Ask Me what, where, when, and how you should reply. Leave the why in the equation up to Me. It is critical for you to always seek My face and wait for my decision. Though some of the choices you have made and are making right now seem irrelevant. They have and will bring results that cannot be undone. Be careful in the way you assess situations. Allow Me to enter into every occasion you encounter. Wait for Me. I will answer you at the appropriate time.
Proverbs 16:10-12 (NASB) “A divine decision is in the lips of the king; His mouth should not err in judgment. A just balance and scales belong to the LORD; all the weights of the bag are His concern. It is an abomination for kings to commit wicked acts, for a throne is established on righteousness.” Kevin Robinson
Here’s Our Medical Bag…………
Here’s the last of the most important questions you need to ask your doctor about diabetes:
5. How often should I check my blood sugar?
Checking your blood glucose (blood sugar) is an important way to gauge how well you’re managing your diabetes. How often you check typically depends on whether you’re taking insulin or oral diabetes medications, says Betul Hatipoglu, MD, an endocrinologist at Cleveland Clinic. “Even for people who take no medications, it’s always good to know what’s going on in your body,” she says. “Blood sugars are like light in a dark tunnel. It’s information against your enemy. If you don’t have information, you can’t fight as well as you can. Are you going up? Are you doing well? It gives you a snapshot of how you’re doing.”
6. How will I know if my blood sugar level is low?
Almost everyone with diabetes experiences low blood sugar – or hypoglycemia – at one time or another. If your blood sugar gets too low, you’re at risk of losing consciousness, which can be dangerous. The key is to recognize the symptoms of hypoglycemia and treat them before your blood glucose level drops too low. People on the brink of hypoglycemia often feel shaky, dizzy, and weak. Ask your doctor about strategies to quickly boost your blood sugar by eating carbs – a half-cup of juice, for instance – or taking an injection of glucagon, a blood-sugar-raising drug prescribed by your doctor.
7. How do I avoid diabetes complications?
Over time, high blood glucose levels boost the odds that you’ll have diabetes complications, such as heart disease, kidney disease, and neuropathy, so it’s important to ask your doctor about ways to avoid these problems. “Keeping blood glucose levels down is the best insurance to guard against complications,” Maryniuk says. Since heart disease is the most common diabetes complication, she adds, keeping blood pressure close to your target will help protect your heart health. Also, ask your doctor about the tests and exams you need, such as kidney function tests, eye exams, chiropractic exams, and biannual dental visits.
8. Who should be on my diabetes healthcare team?
Assembling a strong team of medical experts is critical to good diabetes healthcare. Although most of your visits may be with your primary care doctor, you’ll also need other specialists, such as an endocrinologist, chiropractor, naturopath, eye doctor, podiatrist, certified diabetes educator, and dentist. It also doesn’t hurt to befriend your local pharmacist, too, and/or seek out advice from a dietitian. If you need to, ask your doctor for referrals. Working with a team – with you as the captain – will allow you to create a custom plan that helps you take charge of your diabetes and live younger.
In Thursday’s Medical Bag, I’ll share with you information about medications for diabetes. You may want to “friend” me on Facebook as I post short health tips on my page there each day. You can find me as drjoe fawcett. http://www.facebook.com/drjoefawcett ;
Thank you so much Dr. Joe!!!!!!! God Bless you!
