Dear family of Jesus,
Thank you for stopping by for a CUP to start off your day! AMEN!
Be ZEALOUS for the fear of the Lord all the day. Proverbs 23:17
Zealous: enthusiastic, eager, fervid, fervent, intense, passionate, warm.
Fearing God: The person who fears God has nothing to hide. In fact he or she is scared to be away from God! I know I am!!! AMEN!!!
Our yearning for God must supersede all other desires. It must be like a gnawing hunger and a burning thirst! AMEN! Do you hunger and thirst for our LORD?
Do you hear that America??? Do you hear that Church??? Our yearning for God must supersede all other desires!!!!!!
My lesson of the last 3 days…………Deep, Deep meaning, Oh My!
Be not wise in your own eyes; reverently fear and worship the Lord and turn entirely away from evil.
It shall be health to your nerves and sinews, and marrow and moistening to you bones.
Please pray on this from Proverbs 3: 7-8
What is sinews?
A tendon (or sinew) is a tough band of fibrous connective tissue that usually connects muscle to bone[1] and is capable of withstanding tension. Tendons are similar to ligaments and fasciae as they are all made of collagen except that ligaments join one bone to another bone , and fasciae connect muscles to other muscles. Tendons and muscles work together.
And we all know what bone marrow is…….life
Through God’s Word we are getting a very direct message on our health, both spiritually and physically. AMEN!
Everything, everything is in God’s Word for us to live, the Bread of life.
Was thinking a lot this weekend about all the fires in New Mexico and Colorado. The fire in Ruidoso, NM burned 242 homes and 248 homes were destroyed in the Fort Collins, Colorado fire. In the Estes Park, Colorado area, which Sharon and I hope to retire to someday, has so far lost 24 homes in a fire. There are many other fires burning in New Mexico, Colorado, Utah, and Arizona at this time. Terrible destruction is taking place. Think of those who have lost everything, think of God’s land that has burned, over 400,000 acres so far in New Mexico. Think of all the animals that have died, the firefighters that have to be so tired, resources are being drained in communities and the states of New Mexico and Colorado……..Am I the only one who is bothered by the lack of call for prayer from the Church and Government officials? Am I the only one bothered by the lack of concern for these fires coming out of the White House? Not a word from our President!
God says that we can learn a great deal about Him just by observing nature. Because He has spoken through His universe, all men are without excuse for not believing in Him. That is why the Psalmist said: “The fool hath said in his heart, there is no God” Psalm 14:1.
Let us be in prayer.
I have been thinking a lot the last couple of days about my Dad, Mom, Grandpa and Grandma Caraway, Uncle Joe, Uncle Charlie and all my family that has passed onto heaven. I believe it is because of my birthday coming up July 4th and the kid’s being gone out of state. The impact that my Mom and Dad had on me and all the other loved ones I mention here has been such a blessing in my life and oh how we would celebrate the 4th of July and my birthday! Fried Chicken!!! hamburgers and hotdogs!!! WOW WEE!!! I pray that I continue to be a positive, Godly influence on the kids. Sharon and I and the doggies will have a very quiet 4th.
We will once again be airing Jerry Stewart’s July 4th radio Special go to www.mykkim.com for more info.
As we approach the 4th of July let us pray……..
Father, I pray that we Americans will always be aware that You are the source of our Liberty and that if we, as a nation, turn our liberty over to men, then we lose this precious gift You have entrusted to us. In Jesus name, AMEN!
Woodrow Wilson our 28th President said, “The history of liberty is the history of resistance. The history of liberty is a history of the limitation of governmental power, not the increase of it. When we resist the concentration of power, we are resisting the powers of death. Concentration of power precedes the destruction of human liberties”.
We will ever learn that?
Let us pray……….
We continue to pray for rain, for people in Harm’s way, we pray for the firefighters.
Please pray for my Dear Friend Tom Johnson, his Mother passed onto heaven. Please cover the whole family in your prayers. We love you Tom!
Please continue to pray for Ruby Wells as she recovers from her brain surgery, she is improving. PTL!! Our love to you Ruby!
Please pray for Shelly Crawford as she goes through divorce. We are praying for you Shelly and love you.
Please continue to pray for Ernie and Cathy Belanger, they were married yesterday. PRAISE GOD!! We send our love to you Ernie and Cathy.
Please pray for Pastor Barry Dickens.
Please pray for Pastor Jim Montoya.
Much love to Pastor’s Jim and Barry!
Barbara Gould for her upcoming revival in Rio Rancho. Let us pray. We love you Barbara!
Let us keep each other in our prayers.
Thanks to my friend Kim Wear for sharing this……….I am praying over this
Something to think about for every saint. Psalm 116:15 Precious in the sight of God is the death of his saints.
I hope everyone will read this. Most of us think that this scripture means; precious-sweet. I’m sure to the Lord we are sweet but that is not what it means. It could read this way Precious, costly in the sight of God is the death of his saint. It means when a believer who lived in God walked in the power and the authority of God dies its costly because what they they brought or added in the earth is gone! Their prayers were powerful they availed much power to people, they helped meet the needs of people they had a real supply from heaven and now it is gone.

Spiritual dirt
We only experience the amount of spiritual victory that we have the courage to walk in. Jesus has already defeated the enemies of our soul to the point that He is now sitting down. He is our victorious king sitting on His throne, with all things in subjection under His feet including every obstacle in our soul.
Hebrews 2: 8 You have put all things in subjection under his feet. For in subjecting all things to him, He left nothing that is not subject to him. But now we do not yet see all things subjected to him. 9 But we do see Him who was made for a little while lower than the angels, namely, Jesus, because of the suffering of death crowned with glory and honor, so that by the grace of God He might taste death for everyone.
We dont see all things in our lives subject to him until we realize that God the father has placed everything under Jesus feet. When this becomes our reality, we will take the promised land of our souls as we fight our spiritual giants residing there. A great analogy to this is the story of Joshua who led the Jews to take the land that God promised them. God promised Joshua the whole land but Joshua would only experience victory in the part of the land that he was willing to win by fighting expressed here as Every place on which the sole of your foot treads.
Joshua 1: 3 Every place on which the sole of your foot treads, I have given it to you, just as I spoke to Mose
The land had been a promise from God to the Jews dating all the way back to Abraham. In Gods eyes, it was a done deal. He just needed people willing to possess it by trusting Him one battle at a time. Only where Joshuas feet were willing to tread would he and Israel experience victory. If they cowered in fear from a particular enemy, they would not experience the part of the land which that enemy occupied. The dirt on the bottom of their sandals was a trophy of the courage it took to walk on that piece of land.
The only thing standing between spiritual freedom and us is our unwillingness to fight the giants in the promise land of our own souls. Even though God has promised us victory, we will only experience that victory by taking on our enemies by faith. But we dont have a physical enemy to fight today; we have spiritual enemies as spelled out in the 6th chapter of Ephesians.
Ephesians 6:12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces o this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.
One of our weapons listed in Ephesians 6 verse 15 is our shoes of the gospel of peace. The shoes Paul is making analogy to were the spiked sandals that the Romans soldiers used in battle that gave them firm footing. Through grace we have a firm footing with God and are able to stand against our enemies in the demonic realm.
It is by His grace and the power of the Holy Spirit that we can take the promised land of our souls by defeating one spiritual giant at a time. The spiritual dirt collected on the soles of our gospel shoes reflects our courage to walk in the victory that Jesus has already won. The ultimate goal is to experience the increased liberty and peace in our souls that Jesus promised would abide in us when walk in His victory and then share that victory with a world trapped in spiritual bondage.
2 Corinthians 3:17 Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.

“I have two 10-year old children who cannot go to school because their parents don’t have enough money to pay the requirements. Can you help?” said the e-mail from a pastor. See below for how to help.
June 25, 2012. The nations are calling. Some are crying desperately for help. Others see fields and more fields of white harvest ripe for harvesting. Strong calls came first from Peru (some gave $5,000 at a time and thousands were saved), then the Philippines (many are being saved annually). Kenya and India are repeatedly calling. Honestly, I do not handle this well because my faith is in a steep learning and surrendering curve. So I pray and then weep a lot. Most of the time, I prefer not to even talk about it. You see, God gave me a magnificent gift of evangelism many years ago. Since then, I have seen thousands saved and have started many discipleship programs. Pray with me about a “Harvest Chest” (Someone has already given $700) as a storehouse base with faithful partners. Ask God about throwing your weight behind this with me. All I know is, God gave me the following calling He gave first to Jesus. He has given it to me now many times. Pray.
Psalm 2:7-9 (NASB) “I will surely tell of the decree of the LORD: He said to Me, ‘You are My Son, Today I have begotten You. ‘Ask of Me, and I will surely give the nations as Your inheritance, and the very ends of the earth as Your possession. ‘You shall break them with a rod of iron, You shall shatter them like earthenware.'” Ras Robinson

June 25, 2012. In the early 1970’s I prayed to be filled with God’s Spirit. Later I began having chest pains and went for a complete physical. I was diagnosed with severe heart disease. One way I was preparing for my hospital stay was with a thorough house cleaning and I blacked out. I awoke a changed person. Then the doctor could find no evidence of heart disease. My new lease on life caused me to fall in love with God’s word. I began applying his word daily. I dreamed about this vividly last night, and asked God why. He answered, “I am starting a spiritual wave impacting other’s lives the way I changed your life.”
Ephesians 5:15-18 (NLT) “So be careful how you live. Don’t live like fools, but like those who are wise. Make the most of every opportunity in these evil days. Don’t act thoughtlessly, but understand what the Lord wants you to do. Don’t be drunk with wine, because that will ruin your life. Instead, be filled with the Holy Spirit.” Bev Robinson

June 25, 2012. I want you to move with confidence. Know that it’s My power within you, that enables you to have the self-assurance you earnestly desire. You have what it takes to be successful in whatever you apply yourself toward. Believe in yourself. Just like you put your belief structure in Me when you accepted Me as Savior. Do not discount who I have made you to be. Embrace the poise I placed within your mind, will and emotions. Be a world changer. When fear raises its ugly head, laugh and move forward with the composure I put within your heart. I am yours and you are mine. Believe what I am saying.

Don’t Let Belly Fat Fool Your Body Mass Index Measurement
Is your bathroom scale lying about whether your weight is healthy — or a health threat? The obesity epidemic is bad enough, but along comes a study that indicates that the widely used, 200-year-old healthy-weight formula is underestimating the health risk for nearly half of all women and more than 20% of men whose body-fat levels are dangerously high. The good news is this research can help you live longer and younger.
The problem? You can be a normal weight according to your body mass index (BMI), but you might be toting around extra belly fat that the BMI doesn’t take into account. BMI, which compares your weight to your height, can’t distinguish between lean, sexy, healthy muscle and excess body fat — especially belly fat, which raises your risk for heart attack, stroke, diabetes, cancer, worsening arthritis, dementia, and more.
Here are healthy body-fat percentages for women:
20 to 39 years old: 21% to 32%
40 to 59 years old: 23% to 33%
60 years or older: 24% to 35%
For men, healthy body-fat percentages are as follows:
20 to 39 years old: 8% to 19%
40 to 59 years old: 11% to 21%
60 years or older: 13% to 24%.
For their BMI-bad-news study, the researchers at New York University School of Medicine used a full-body scan to measure body fat in 1,400 people, but you can do just as good a job if you just grab a tape measure and measure your waist. Waist size, it turns out, is a super-accurate way to measure risky belly fat. You may have some body fat on board if your waist measures 35 inches or more for women, or more than 39 inches for men.
How do you calculate BMI?
Put a tape measure around you at the belly button level — and suck in! The health risks that come with belly fat actually begin about 3 inches deeper than your un-sucked-in middle. If your waist size needs a trim, focus on strategies that build muscle. Lean body tissue burns calories ’round the clock, preventing or even reversing belly-fat expansion. Don’t simply diet. Reducing calories reduces precious muscle mass, too. Instead, take these four simple steps to nudge your body composition back to a healthy BMI (none involve the words diet, calories, or weigh-in):
– Eat muscle-protecting protein. The Dietary Reference Intake for protein set forth by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) is to eat 0.8 grams of protein for every kilogram of body weight. This works out to about 36 grams of protein per day for every 100 pounds of weight. Therefore, a 200-pound person needs to eat about 72 grams of protein each day. You can get yours from fish (32 grams of protein are in 4 ounces of salmon or trout), skinless poultry, and plants (kidney beans, nuts, and edamame have 16 to 18 grams of protein per cup). One of the best sources of protein in the diet is grass fed beef. Depending on the cut, a 3-ounce serving of beef contains 20-25 grams of protein. Furthermore, the protein in beef is “complete protein”, which means it contains all of the amino acids needed for the body to make muscle tissue, hormones, red blood cells and other substances.
– Snack on healthy fats. Nuts (especially walnuts and macadamia nuts), fish, avocados, seeds, and a splash of canola oil are bursting with unsaturated fats that help your body listen up when leptin (the “I’m full” hormone) says, “Put down the fork and back away from the table.” If you can, eat fish a couple of times a week and enjoy a small handful of nuts every day to restore your body’s natural leptin sensitivity. Choosing these hunger fighters instead of foods brimming with saturated fat helps because that greasy stuff actually turns down your body’s production of leptin.
– Pump some iron, try resistance bands, or leverage your own body weight. Aim for at least three 20-minute strength-training sessions per week. Using a weight that exhausts you with 12 repetitions builds muscle; resistance bands are great no-impact exercises that are good for posture; and chin-ups, push-ups, or sit-ups (knees bent) that use your own weight, build balance and muscle safely and effectively.
– Get to bed early. Short-changing yourself on sleep leads to cravings for doughnuts and super-sized colas. Sleep deficits also raise your levels of stress hormones that order your body to store the extra calories in your torso, so turn out the lights at 9:30 or 10 tonight.
