Dear Family of Jesus,
Thanks so much for stopping by for a CUP! We love you!
Pastor Leonard shared this on Facebook last night! I awoke to this posting! PTL!
Hey Dewey Moede Here’s your verse!!!
“But I do not account my life of any value nor as precious to myself, if only I may finish my course and the ministry that I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God.” Acts 20:24
Robin White the Co-Author of John Taylor’s book, “Make My Life a Bible” has this to share with us……..
I am writing for Dewey. (literally) The Lord has laid it on his heart for several years to write a book and share his testimony. The Lord has shown me as well that this is my next assignment. We are both asking for prayers for this project in all aspects of it. We need guidance, wisdom, favor, support, all resources needed to get this started, completed and published. We also need protection against distractions, hindrances and personal attacks. We want the Lord to do the writing through us. This book will bring God glory. Please be in agreement with us both.
Thank you in advance for your prayers. We have a story to tell.
Bless you!
Dewey and Robin
Thank you Robin. The Lord has been nudging me for 2 years to write this book, Kay Hendrickson even went to the bother of doing design work and other work….
The characteristic of a disciple is not that he does good things, but that he is good in his motives, having been made good by the supernatural grace of God. The only thing that exceeds right-doing is right-being. Good stuff from Oswald Chambers.
It could be that you don’t have an answer, but God does. Tony Evans

Laura Ingells from Little House on the Prairie…”There is no place like home.” AMEN!
When you think of home what do you think of?
I think of warmth and love and safety………The love of Sharon and the doggies…….and still wishing the kid’s were here.
I have always loved coming home………….loved that feeling when I was a little boy, coming home from school………
When I was between 3 and 5 I would sit on the curb of the street outside our house in Windom, Minnesota waiting for Dad to come home,My Mom would always tell that story for years.the love I had for my Dad and Mom.
I would pick dandelions in the Fairgrounds for Mom.
Now what do you do with those memories?
You treasure them and they give you warmth for the rest of your life.
You try to pass that love and warmth down to your children.
You also realize many do not grow up the way I did.
Many have bad memories of their childhood.
Yes, like Warrior Baby…………
Last week at church Pastor Steve had all the Elders, Ministry Leaders and Prayer teams come forward and also engaged the entire congregation to pray for a baby we have named the “Warrior Baby”. This baby is fighting for his life. He is a tiny infant and has been beaten on 3 separate occasions. (He is of course being fostered at this time) When he was hospitalized the Drs. determined that nothing could be done and pulled his airway and he started to breathe on his own. They said that it was hopeless and that he would be in a vegetative state. Since prayer was initiated for him he has smiled, moved his hands and feet and even cried when he was fed. We are persisting in prayer for his complete and total healing for God’s glory alone!!! He is the healer and needs no other! Please add the “Warrior Baby” to your list. He has stolen our hearts.
We thank you Jesus in advance for all you are going to do and the ways you are going to use this child,
Paul and Rene’
We are praying for complete healing.
This is why I try to be Salt and Light each day of my life and carry out the Great Commission to share the love of Jesus Christ.
Yesterday I had a studio full of students from Albuquerque Christian School, WOW! There were two students from the Ukraine who now make Albuquerque their home and found Jesus Christ by attending Albuquerque Christian School and talked about the family they have at the school.
Principal Shaun Adams along with some excited students, parents and teachers from Albuquerque Christian School live in-studio at the Radio Ranch.
“,”type”:22}”Lik
Sharing the Love of Jesus Christ each day…….praying over people………..realizing everyone has a story to tell……..give them an opportunity to share……….that is why I love Radio so much……..people get to share…….Got a call from Dinah of the Arc of NM yesterday telling me how my friend Karl, who just passed away, always loved the fact that his dream came true of doing the sports on the radio.
Let us help each other on the road to heaven.
Let us hold each other accountable.
Key verse here in our journey is this………..
Just like now is the time for me to write the book………..the fear of it……the unknown of it………but the Lord has been working on this and now brought John Taylor and Robin White into my life because of my friend Dr. Joe Fawcett. And also friends like Kay Hendrickson and my Sharon.
It is the Lord who goes before you. He will be with you. He will not leave you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed. Deuteronomy 31:8
Let us also continue to pray for Ruby Wells who has returned to the hospital after her brain surgery to remove a tumor weeks ago. We pray for complete healing Lord!
You Are a New Creation
by Joyce Meyer – posted July 25, 2012
Therefore if any person is [ingrafted] in Christ (the Messiah) he is a new creation (a new creature altogether); the old [previous
moral and spiritual condition] has passed away. Behold, the fresh and new has come! —2 Corinthians 5:17
When you are born again God consecrates or dedicates you to a new and different use, the one for which you were intended in the first place. You get a fresh new opportunity for service.
When Christ comes to live inside of you, an imperishable seed is planted within you. Everything you need to be completely healthy and whole is in Him. And if it is in Him, it is in you. But it is in seed form, and seeds have to be watered and nourished in order to grow and produce fruit.
You do this by reading and studying the Word of God and being a doer of the Word. Don’t let the seed lie dormant inside you. Be the fresh new creation God wants you to be.
Here’s a note from Dear friend Pastor Steve Stucker also our Weatherman on KOB TV………
AWESOME Edition Dewey!! Great encouragement and wisdom, I LOVED it all today…thanks for your faithfulness in doing this each morning.
If it’s helpful to any of your readers/listeners, I do a short weekday devotional called Morning Inspiration. I post it on both my Face Book pages, and also email it to a list of those who request it. I’ll copy today’s below for you to see as an example
May God bless,
ss
Morning Inspiration: This should be your ambition: to live a quiet life, minding your own business & working with your hands, just as we commanded you before. As a result, people who are not Christians will respect the way you live, & you will not need to depend on others to meet your financial needs.
1st Thessalonians 4:11-12
A great reminder that our Work in this world, covers several different areas. We are to Work to: Live quietly & peacefully (Blessed are the peacemakers). Mind our own business (Let me see the log in my eye, not the splinter in theirs). Pay our way in life whenever possible (Work as if you are doing it for God). Earn the respect of others by the way we care for those in need (Do good & share what you have). A careful examination of this passage, and our Hearts.. will do us all a lot of good, plus increase our respect from those who aren’t so sure about the Church these days.

Thanks for the Great message Pastor Steve!

July 26, 2012. Someone very close has disrespected and dishonored you on two occasions recently. The hurt was raw and unredemptive. But you have survived the hurt as a stronger person in grace and forgiveness. You have seen that the hurt was not intentional but came within the principle of hurt people hurt people. Somehow that cycle of hurting out of hurt must cease. A battle has been raging in the pits of Hell over these incidents. Your destinies in God are known in Hell. Satan has enjoyed sifting and is standing ready to do it again. But the Lord says, “Jesus has prayed that the hurting stop and that you use these occasions of hurt to point the way to help heal others.”
Luke 22:31-32 (AMP) “Simon, Simon (Peter), listen! Satan has asked excessively that [all of] you be given up to him [out of the power and
keeping of God], that he might sift [all of] you like grain, but I have prayed especially for you [Peter], that your [own] faith may not fail; and when you yourself have turned again, strengthen and establish your brethren.” Ras Robinson

July 26, 2012. Part of the reason for your success in many things you do is that you expect so much of yourself. Most times this is a good thing. But along with high expectation, extend grace to yourself. You are a person among people and people act like people. You are not God. You are a human being. Many times you are harder on yourself than I am. I know you are to be perfect as I am perfect. I have set a high goal. But it’s a goal. You and I know sometimes you miss the mark. When you do miss it, don’t spend time picking yourself apart. Confess and start again.
Philippians 3:12-14 (NKJV) “Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me. Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.” Bev Robinson

July 26, 2012. Embrace yourself as being someone like Barnabas. His name means “son of consolation”. He was the one who befriended Paul when Paul was young and vouched for the sincere change which took place within Paul. He was the one who sold all he had and put all of it at the feet of the apostles. He was sent with confidence by the church in Jerusalem to Antioch because he was highly esteemed and respected. You are a person admired by others because of your inner character traits of excellence. Don’t discount yourself. You have My charisma within you just like Barnabas did. Continue to stand up and be one who comes alongside.
Acts 11:22-24 (NKJV) “Then news of these things came to the ears of the church in Jerusalem, and they sent out Barnabas to go as far as Antioch. When he came and had seen the grace of God, he was glad, and encouraged them all that with purpose of heart they should continue with the Lord. For he was a good man, full of the Holy Spirit and of faith. And a great many people were added to the Lord.” Kevin Robinson

4 Ways a Woman’s Heart Differs from a Man’s Heart
In love, there’s no denying that the hearts of women and men often – though, not always – operate differently. But what about heart health? When it comes to our most vital organ, are women and men the same – or different?
According to cardiac surgeon Marc Gillinov, MD, and cardiologist Steven Nissen, MD, women’s hearts are similar to men’s hearts in some ways, different in others. “But the truth is there are actually more similarities than differences between the sexes,” say Gillinov and Nissen, co-authors of Heart 411: The Only Guide to Heart Health You’ll Ever Need. “Most important, women need to understand that the primary symptom of coronary heart disease, chest pain, and the principal strategies for prevention and treatment – healthy lifestyle, medicine, angioplasty, and surgery – apply equally to women and men.”
While chest pain is the most common heart attack symptom for both sexes, Gillinov and Nissen note that biological differences do exist between men and women. These differences are worth considering because they can affect how heart disease presents in women, how it’s diagnosed, and how it’s treated. Here are 4 key differences you should know about, when it comes to the female heart:
– Women’s hearts and arteries are smaller. “Small arteries in women are more than a simple reflection of smaller body size,” explain Gillinov and Nissen. The difference is thanks, in part, to sex hormones — estrogen, progesterone, and testosterone. While male hormones enlarge arteries, female hormones make them smaller, making women’s arteries more prone to blood clots or plaque blockages, and more difficult to repair with angioplasty or bypass surgery. Smaller blood vessels may also be behind other vascular problems, such as migraines and inflammatory diseases (e.g., lupus, rheumatoid arthritis), which affect more women than men.
– Plaques that cause heart disease are often different in women. While most heart attacks in men and women are caused by blockages in the arteries, the type of plaque and where it forms may be different in women. While men with heart disease often have hard (calcified) plaque affecting all three coronary arteries, women with heart disease may have less overall plaque, affecting only one or two arteries. However, in women, plaque is more likely to be soft, making it more prone to dislodge, potentially causing a heart attack.
– Heart disease without blocked arteries happens more often in women. According to Gillinov and Nissen, 30% of women who undergo cardiac catheterization for chest pain or a heart attack have unblocked coronary arteries “that look normal.” Instead, their heart disease is thought to be caused by low blood flow to the heart – sometimes called syndrome X – which doctors have yet to fully understand, but think may be due to problems with smaller arteries in the heart. Advise Gillinov and Nissen, “This means that we need to think beyond the classic obstructing plaque when treating heart disease in women.”
– Women’s hearts are affected by estrogen. Another obvious difference between women’s and men’s hearts is, of course, the presence of estrogen in women. While estrogen is thought to protect younger women’s hearts, the drop in estrogen that comes with menopause has the opposite effect, raising a woman’s risk of heart disease with age. Offer Gillinov and Nissen, “The onset of menopause is a time to assess your risk factors for heart disease and to work with your doctor to develop a heart-healthy plan, including exercise, a low-salt Mediterranean-style diet, and annual checks of blood lipids and blood pressure. Don’t accept excess risk of heart disease simply because you hit menopause. Be proactive and reduce your risk.”
