Asking for prayers for my sister. She has been at her present job for over 12 years and is turning 60 this year. Her company is transitioning all the accounting jobs to the corporate office in Colorado and is laying off all the accountants and office managers at the outlying feedlots. She will be out of a job in May and has been the primary support for her and her disabled husband. It will be difficult to find a job at her age in the livestock industry right now and we would both appreciate any and all prayers that she will find employment.
I know that all things come to good.
Thank you for your prayers.

Let us seek the knowledge of God………
Proverbs 18:15-24
An intelligent heart acquires knowledge, and the ear of the wise seeks knowledge. A man’s gift makes room for him and brings him before the great. The one who states his case first seems right, until the other comes and examines him. The lot puts an end to quarrels and decides between powerful contenders. A brother offended is more unyielding than a strong city, and quarreling is like the bars of a castle. …
The favor of God is available to all……….
Isaiah 60:1
Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you.
Please read the following from Joseph Prince, who I have come to know through his teaching’s on KAZQ TV, on the favor of God and then I add my comments at the end……….
If you would like to walk in a greater measure of God’s favor, 2 Peter 1:2 says that grace, which is the undeserved favor of God, and peace, can be multiplied to you. Peace is the word “shalom” in Hebrew. Its definition includes wholeness, health and prosperity. So when you walk in divine favor and peace, you will walk in blessings in every area of your life!
But how do the undeserved favor and shalom of God increase in your life?
It is not by your laboring or toiling to earn it. The Bible says that it comes as your knowledge of Jesus and His finished work increases. It comes as you learn more about and believe that through Jesus’ one sacrifice at the cross, God removed all your sins, gave you His righteousness as a gift and put you in Christ to enjoy everything Jesus has. God’s favor is multiplied in your life when you simply believe that the favor of God that is on Christ is also on you because of what Jesus’ work at the cross has accomplished.
Today, you don’t have to struggle for favor. Just release it by speaking forth God’s Word in faith. On your way to work, say, “God’s favor surrounds me as with a shield.” (Psalm 5:12) As you continue to speak God’s favor over your life out of a revelation of Jesus’ finished work, you will see more of it being released.
When I first entered the workforce, I began to declare the favor of God in my job. Every time I was given a new assignment, I proclaimed that the divine favor of God was on me. The company began to prosper and I was blessed financially. By the time I left the company to serve God full-time, my income had increased so that I was in the top 15 per cent of earners in my age group in Singapore.
Today, in your workplace or at home, begin to declare the favor of God by faith. Expect to receive preferential treatment wherever you are. Say, “I am surrounded with the favor of God because of Jesus’ finished work. I have favor before God and man!” And see God’s favor work for you!
Thought For The Day
You don’t have to struggle for favor. Just release it by speaking forth God’s Word in faith.
Good words from Joseph Prince.
Seeking the knowledge of God…….What Prince writes about the favor of God not coming from our labor or toiling to earn it, is so true! God’s Word says it comes as your knowledge of Jesus and His finished work increases in you.Years ago Pastor’s and friends began to tell me that the Favor of God was over me. I had not had that spoken to me before. I knew I was blessed, but favored? I now know more than ever what the favor of God is! It is like a covering of a wonderful blanket of protection. It comes from a close personal relationship with Him. It comes from absorbing His Word into your life and putting God’s Word into action, being Christ like in everything you do and say. It comes from your Christ like behavior. You don’t work at it, you become Christ like. There is nothing to compare it to, it is a Spiritual high! AMEN!
Main Points; Seek a close personal relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ and seek His knowledge from His Word. It is also vital that you seek God’s knowledge yourself, don’t have someone do it for you, do not rely on a Pastor to do it for you! You seek and you shall receive! You seek the knowledge of Christ you become Christ like! AMEN!
Absorb the bread of life into your life and you will be Christ like in everything you do and say! I am going to tell this story until I am called home! AMEN!
And don’t give up on anybody! Keep being Christ like to them! AMEN!

Therefore his servants said to him, “Let a young woman be sought for my lord the king, and let her wait on the king and be in his service. Let her lie in your arms, that my lord the king may be warm.” So they sought for a beautiful young woman throughout all the territory of Israel, and found Abishag the Shunammite, and brought her to the king. The young woman was very beautiful, and she was of service to the king and attended to him, but the king knew her not. About the ninth hour of the day he saw clearly in a vision an angel of God come in and say to him, “Cornelius.” And he stared at him in terror and said, “What is it, Lord?” And he said to him, “Your prayers and your alms have ascended as a memorial before God. And now send men to Joppa and bring one Simon who is called Peter. …

Now Esther was winning favor in the eyes of all who saw her. And when Esther was taken to King Ahasuerus, into his royal palace, in the tenth month, which is the month of Tebeth, in the seventh year of his reign, the king loved Esther more than all the women, and she won grace and favor in his sight more than all the virgins, so that he set the royal crown on her head and made her queen instead of Vashti. Then the king gave a great feast for all his officials and servants; it was Esther’s feast. He also granted a remission of taxes to the provinces and gave gifts with royal generosity.
