Dear KKIM Family,
May the Strength and Peace of the Lord be with you and yours!!!
Jesus kept silent and answered nothing. Mark 14:61
Silence can be valuable; don’t break it unless you can improve on it. D. De Haan
May you and yours have a blessed Good Friday and Easter.
This Holy Week we at KKIM/KARS have been having an effort for the poorest of the poor………..It took us a month of preparation in prayer to get ready….
What two days of Ministry we have had at KKIM! The efforts we put forth along with many of our listeners to help Orphans in Haiti and Africa. Tom Lewis and his brother Pastor Robert Lewis came in as the hosts of the event for www.feedingthenations.org
Pastor Jim Montoya, Pastor Leonard Navarre, and Pastor Larry Moss also co-hosted this effort.
The words that came forth for our Lord in this time overwhelmed many……..including me and Sharon. The stories of dying children moved us to cry……..
Children being buried alive because the families have no food……..
The need is growing in Haiti, not decreasing.
Feeding The nations send 94% of each dollar right on the field! Just 6% Administrative costs!!!! That is so AWESOME, and tells you a lot about the organization.
Sharon and I have become partners with Feeding The Nations, I pray that you will to. Go to www.mykkim.com for more info.
Here is a note from Pastor Robert Lewis………
Hey there, Dewey!
I just wanted to thank you again for having us in for the “Feeding the Nations” event! I’ve enjoyed getting to know you!
You have great abilities and talents and I know God is going to bless your efforts! Even though you have an extremely heavy work load, keep your chin up and keep running the race with your eyes set on the prize! You’re a winner!!!
Give Jim, Larry & Leonard my best! They are awesome guys! We appreciated having them there to help & support the efforts!
Your brother in Christ,
Robert Lewis
P.S. Thanks again for the coffee mug! (In my case, it’s a hot chocolate & soup mug! ha ha)
Just a note I prayed before I posted this letter from Robert…….as I am embarrassed by his words…..I am blushing and crying…….but I wanted to post it as a letter of Love..that is what we do here at the CUP share the Love of Christ. Build each other but hold each other accountable. Words of Honey are so AWESOME!
Last night on NM News and Views I told Dr. Larry Crabb how much he has meant to me, in helping me with my walk with Jesus Christ…the words he has written in all his books have been an inspiration to thousands and thousands! He said Dewey you are going to make my cry! I love it!!! Tears of Joy! Tears from the heart and soul! Has America.or the Church forgotten how to cry! By the way Dr. Larry Crabb’s new book, 66 Love letters is AWESOME! www.newwayministries.org PS I told Larry that we have crying in common…I cry at the Grand Opening of a K-Mart! LOL LOL!!!!
I just got this news that around 1800 Catholic school students and 500 volunteers got together yesterday and packed around 285,000 meals for Haiti! They gathered at St. Pius X High School here in Albuquerque. Praise God for their efforts!
Many enjoyed the radio broadcast…. .including Victor:
Thanks again, Dewey! Prayers for you as well in all you do. The KKIM relief effort for Haiti was awesome.
We have been praying that Bonnie Wilson would go home, she is the Mother-In-Law of my brother Dave……..Dave called me yesterday and said that Bonnie went home to be with the Lord yesterday at Noon Minnesota Time. PRAISE GOD!!!! Bonnie had Alzheimer’s for years.and now she is anew in heaven! Please keep Dave and his wife Denise in your prayers.
Also I would like to express our sympathy to the family of Dr. James Dokken of Windom who passed away last week in Windom, Minn. His son Paul is a reader of the CUP.
Also to the family of Molly Johnson of Windom. I grew up near where Molly and Spike Johnson lived in Windom, Minn.
May God be with you all!
KKIM friend Ed told me that pastor Raymond Franks is recovering from heart surgery. Please keep Pastor Ray in your prayers.
Please keep Nate Hickman in your prayers.
Victor also has this prayer need………..
Hi everyone. Our entire family has been hit hard with various and continuous sicknesses the last 5 weeks or so. I know the same is true for many of you. I would like to request prayer again from you. Antonio was diagnosed with pink eye yesterday. Today he got a fever of 105 and then we found out he has Strep throat now as well…which he also had about 3 weeks ago. Incredible. Please pray for full healing of him and also that he doesn’t infect anyone else, especially Baby Andres or Isabella.
As some of you know, I threw out my back on Saturday. Thank you for your prayers for that. I was almost feeling back to normal yesterday and then reinjured it somehow last night. I was in pain throughout the night and could hardly bend in any direction today. Very discouraging. Lots of prayer has already gone up for this and I humbly ask for more.
Lastly, please pray for Pamela as she has had to bear most of the burden and has done so much for all of us. She’s done this with very interrupted sleep, as well.
Thank you all so much and God bless you!
Victor
We are praying Victor!
Here is an update from John Robb………..
Dear Friends,
Thanks for your prayers for the Mexico prayer initiative last week. My IPC colleague and I had a brief but potent time praying with some government officials and pastors during our two- day visit. It was a passionate and authoritative time of praying for the Lord’s deliverance of the land from the grip of the narco-traffickers who are in reality waging war against the whole society to carry on their illicit trade. They themselves are gripped and motivated by the powers of darkness and death.
The news reached us that the “King of Heroin”, Jose Antonio Medina, 39, was arrested in the western state of Michoacan on Wednesday, March 24th, the day after the prayer initiative. He was arrested along with some Colombians who were the link between the Colombian and Mexican drug cartels. Praise God! This is the first fruits of the united prayer effort with those in Mexico. Your prayers helped make this possible! The Lord is answering and will bring an end to these criminal rings as we continue to pray, so let’s do so, believing Him to finish the job!
Please continue to pray with us for Mexico for the following:
The protection and empowering of all in the government, army and police who are working to break up the drug cartels and bring their members to justice. Pray for effective, wise strategies so that the evil and ruthless drug lords and their minions will be uncovered and defeated and the flow of drugs into the United States will be interdicted and destroyed.
God’s guidance and empowering of the Christians in the government and those pastors and prayer leaders who are involved in the spiritual struggle with the principalities and powers, that they will be strong and victorious, knowing how to pray and mobilize intercessors across the country to do the same. Pray for their physical and spiritual protection from any backlash of the devil.
World Prayer Assembly- Please also be in prayer for the planning of the World Prayer Assembly to be held in mid-2012 in Jakarta. Up to 3000 church, prayer and marketplace leaders along with youth and children from possibly 200 countries will gather to share, celebrate and learn from what God has been doing through the prayer movement and also to strategize and coordinate efforts for the future. In preparation for the WPA, a select group of Indonesian, Korean and IPC colleagues will gather in that city of Indonesia, April 14-17 to discuss and pray for the WPA, planning how we can work together to make this happen. In the hands of the Lord, it could be a “new wave” for the global prayer movement, serving as a major stepping stone to the fulfillment of Habakkuk 2:14- “that the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea.”
In our humble opinion, the WPA is one of the most strategic things for the work of Christ on the planet. Therefore, may we ask you to please pray with us for:
1) the vision-sharing and planning meetings, April 15-16, that they will result in the formation of a strong international steering committee along with wide support from the Indonesian and Korean churches and marketplace leadership.
2) for His unity and clarity for all of us about how to proceed so we can work practically and joyfully together to arrange such a huge and challenging event.
3) that this time of working, praying and sharing together will be greatly anointed and blessed by the Lord, resulting in strong, loving relationships among us.
4) that the large amount of finance needed for the WPA will begin to flow now.
4) for our two main Indonesian colleagues, Daniel and Iman, for God’s protection and guidance as they pull things together there, and for the Korean and IPC brothers and sisters who will journey from afar to take part.
Thanks so much for your help in prayer for these two very crucial prayer concerns. Your support in this way will undoubtedly be used by the Lord to change history!
Warmest greetings in Christ,
John Robb

Let us pray………
Lord, give us wisdom to discern when what is false must be revealed or if we need Your grace and strength to close our lips and keep them sealed. In the name of Jesus, AMEN!
May you have a Blessed Easter, Dewey Sharon and family
