Dear KKIM/KARS Family,
May the Strength, Wisdom, and Peace of our LORD be with you and yours forever and ever……
You cannot push anyone up the ladder unless he/she is willing to climb a little. -Andrew Carnegie
May you grab your cup of coffee or as some of our friends do grab their cup of tea, or soda pop! Yep, some drink pop this early! As Miki does please also grab your Bible……..
For God’s Glory Alone we gather together today to share in the richness of our LORD!
Thank you for being here with us! We love you!
If you have not sent us a letter of late…..please do…….we miss hearing from you!
Thanks to George and Brandy for the T-Shirt!!! Thanks to Pastor Leonard for the books and CD and wonderful card! I guess I am like a little kid, I just love birthdays! Brandy and George got me a T-Shirt that I have been wanting for years….having to do with the Original Homeland Security Team…….native Americans!
Maybe we need to start a KKIM/KARS/DAILY/CUP Birthday club???? Let me know what you think!!!
Have you seen the new look at www.deweysdailycup.com ? Thanks to Jannetta for all her wonderful work! God Bless you!
Ryan Freeman is working on a Facebook page for KKIM……I told him I have a face for radio so he would have to do that! LOL!
Make sure and check out www.mykkim.com and get the times and days for our Special 4th of July programming!
I am in great study with my Apologetics Study Bible…..turning to the Book of James…….oh my! How I love James!
Consider it a great joy, my brothers whenever you experience various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. But endurance must do its complete work, so that you may be mature and complete, lacking nothing.
That is James 1:2-4
I know what many of you are thinking! Enough already!!I have had too many challenges in my life!
It was Corrie Ten Boom who said, “When a train goes through a dark tunnel and it get’s dark, you don’t throw away the ticket and jump off. You sit still and trust the engineer.”
“Christ was willing to suffer and be despised, and darest thou complain of anything? Thomas A Kempis
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose. Romans 831-39 NIV
Now if we do not have a solid relationship with the Lord and read HIS WORD everyday and stay in constant prayer…the words I just wrote will not mean much! That is what we as the Body of Christ need to pass along to others……..Carry out the Great Commission and stick with it.
There are so many people that come and go………they seek God and then leave……..Let us stick with it and stick with the Great Commission.
But please just pray on this thought……..seek a solid relationship with the Lord………I always say that if the Lord chewed gum..I would want you to get so close to the Lord you could tell me what flavor of gum HE chews!!!! LOL! LOL! Read HIS WORD daily……keep a Bible with you at all times, stay in constant prayer…….Put on the Armour of God.
That is the way my friends to live…it will enable you NOT to get sucked in my the darkness of the world!
Now if any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives all generously and without criticizing, and it will be given to him. But let him ask in faith without doubting, (WOW READ THAT AGAIN AND AGAIN.DO YOU DOUBT???? I DO AT TIMES!!!) For the doubter is like the surging sea, driven and tossed by the wind. That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. An indecisive man is unstable in his ways. That is James 1: 2-8
How POWERFUL is that? That is life in a nutshell!!! right there………
I will leave you with this………..
Temptation is the enticement to do evil. Satan is the tempter. James explained that God cannot be tempted by evil, and HE does not tempt anyone. I REPEAT GOD DOES NOT TEMPT ANYONE! Temptation is for the purpose of destroying a person through sin leading to death and hell. That is Satan’s intent. And that is the TRUTH!
Heaven is a prepared place………are you prepared for Heaven?
I shared with you earlier this week that Pastor Jim Montoya’s Father-In-Law passed away…..here is a note from Jim………
